This is a lovely, peaceful site with very good shower / toilet facilities and friendly owners.
There isn't a shop onsite, which wasn't a problem for us. It is just 5 miles from Wetherby and 7 miles from Harrogate.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and even though there weren't any vegetarian main meals on the menu, this wasn't a problem because the chef made me something. It was so good we ate there on our second night too even though we planned on having a bbq.
I would definitely recommend this site and will be visiting again.

We visited in late August last year for a long weekend. On arrival the site supervisor directed us to all of the facilities and to a nice spot in the far corner of their camping field.
The facilities are excellent. Lovely warm, clean toilet block with hot showers. Complimentary toiletries in the blocks. A good utility area with the usual freezer etc
There's also a little summer house which hold the library of books, games, videos and CDs. There's also a good supply of tourist information there.
We didn't use the restaurant / bar, so I can't really comment on these.
The site is so close to Harewood House that we could hear the Girls Aloud concert there loud enough to sing along (made for an entertaining evening!)
The only real downside was that on the Saturday of our stay there the wardens allowed an extra caravan to try and squeeze into the space between two pitches. This couple then erected their awning. As a result there was all of 2 feet of clearance between their awning and the tent of the couple next to us.
All in all, 7/10

Excellent little site, immaculate toilet / shower block with the added bonus of a superb restaurant onsite. We decided to camp here for a few nights due to our son being in University at Bradford so did not have chance to explore the area, this will be rectified on our next visit in 2009. Nice and quiet (except for the geese and ducks ready to fly to warmer climes ! ) and just what we needed for a peaceful weekend away.

Have used this site several times, it is ideally situated for The Proms at Harewood House.
The toilet/shower block is exceptional, dishwasing room with freezer and a laundry room. Information room contains many books and jigsaws etc.
Restaurant/Bar is only open Friday Saturday nights, Sunday lunch and bank holidays. If you dont have a meal here you have missed out on excellent food well presented and not at all expensive as some reviews have stated, meal for two with a bottle of wine about £35. Although you can simply have a drink in the relaxing lounge room or on the patio.
The Fish and chips served on Friday are not to be missed but you need a large appetite to do them justice. These can also be purchased as a take away.
Morning papers are available using honesty box.
Flat bowling green used mainly by residents but campers are welcome to use the facility.

This is the 1st time we have stayed at this site and were not disappointed. The toilets and shower facilitys are brilliant with little extras like free shower gel / razors / soap. The information hut even had jigsaws / books / cd's / dvd's to borrow. The restaurant looks really nice although a bit pricey. The site overall was lovely. Well worth a visit. Within easy reach of wetherby, harewood house and leeds. Only booked for 4 days but next visit would stay longer.

We found this site about 10 years ago and have become friends with the owners. We have never been dissapointed, (apart from weather!). Although the shower blocks have been updated, very nice, I liked the old one. If you have been here in the last 3 or 4 years you will know what I mean! It has always been clean and tidy. I love the summer house 'libary' and its good to swap books. Watch out for the red kites released from Harewood, there's about 5 of them which are often in the sky. Although we don't venture very far when we go, we always go to Knaresborough or Harrogate. If you go to Knaresborough take a walk along the river Nidd, it's lovely.

We left it late to buy our first tent in over 20 years and were desperate to try it out before winter. Having pitched the rather large Vango Diablo 600 in the garden just once, we looked for a site not too far away from our home with facilities that werent too spartan. Having looked at the reviews on here and the Maustin Park website we opted to spend a Saturday and Sunday here getting to grips with the tent and equipment without roughing it.
We certainly were not disappointed, we were given a pitch on our own away from the few (5) touring caravans and motorhomes, with acres of space and an electric hook up. Even though we were at the far end of the touring field it was only a short walk to the toilet / shower / washing up etc. Block. And what a block it was. Imaculate, brand new and very impressive. Free showers, loads of hot water and room. Washing up room with everything plus a freezer for the ice blocks. The staff, other visitors and the folks in the statics on site were delightfully friendly. The restaurant and bar are fantastic, we had a gorgeous meal with excellent service plus they have a superb pint of Sam Smiths Old brewery Bitter. With the walk to the toilets in mind I had to hold back a bit. The site in general is imaculate and a credit to the owners who keep it that way. We may have been spoilt for our first camping trip because I cant see many others competing at this level. Only downside.Which can be a plus too is the no children policy. If you are looking for a lovely very quiet site in a lovely setting with facilities second to none I would recommend this one.

Just been back for our 2nd visit this year and our 5th visit in total over the past 3 years. Ideally situated for Harewood House, being just a couple of miles down the road, and Weatherby and Harrogate, about 7 miles. Fantastic campsite. Showering facilities immaculately clean and wonderfully hot with complimentary toiletries provided. We were pitched near the bowling green which gets the sun all day but is really sheltered. We always go here when Bramham horse trials are on in June, but decided to come back last weekend with friends just for a relaxing break. Really good price, everything included, hookup, showers, dogs, awning etc. There is a restaurant on site, which always smells gorgeous, although never been as we usually have the dogs, understand they will do fish and chips to take away though. Everybody really friendly. Wonderful surrounding scenery. Will defiantly be back.

Blink and you could miss this gem of a site set a few miles from the lovely town of Wetherby. So whatever you do, DON"T BLINK! This is a very peaceful and relaxing place with spotless and modern facilities and a wonderful restaurant. No facilities for children though, as this is an ADULTS ONLY site, which means you can (as we did) get the kids looked after for the weekend and have a blissful quiet time exploring the pubs in the nearby village (5 mins drive) and watching the bowlers on the on-site green. Now for the restaurant - One word - outofthisworld. The food was fantastic and, whilst being a little pricey, is worth every penny for an occasional treat. Wardens Neil and Julie obviously work very hard managing this well run site. We can't wait to go back.

Just spent a lovely weekend at this lovely little site. The pitches are spacious and allocated to you prior to arrival, all pitches are level and mostly sheltered by high hedges. The shower block is excellent, warm, modern and spotlessly clean with complementary toiletries replenished daily. The restaurant is very popular and the food looked lovely, certainly not fast food. The site supervisors were friendly and helpful and obviously took pride on their jobs as the whole of the site was immaculate. The site is set in a rural area close to Wetherby and Harrogate, for adults only and a haven if you want a quiet stress free break. I would certainly go back there.
