Site had all the facilities you could ask for plus bar, restaurant and take away. Food was very nice and value for money. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. It is out in the middle of nowhere, but that was quite nice. Husband enjoyed the fishing and our 2 year old enjoyed the horse riding. We are already looking to re-book for next year with other family members. There is plenty of space between the pitches, which are regularly maintained and lots of grass/play areas for the kids. The only down side was that the site does need a little TLC. We had problems finding our pitch as one of the numbers had fallen off the post and the one next to us was missing. The toilet block was a little run down. (We were informed that this one is being knocked down and re-built in the very near future). Everything though is very clean just needs a coat of paint here and there.

We usually pick campsites on the coast but last year decided to go inland. Unfortunately we could only get a week then. My fourteen year old nephew enjoyed himself so much that when we came home he insisted that we booked for two weeks this year and his mum and dad had to come along also.So that's what we have done! It's a lovely friendly and clean site. If a bit secluded! though most attractions are only half an hour or so away. The shop is well stocked and considering that the nearest town is about ten miles away the prices are very good, you can also buy meat packs to bring home with you, also the bar and restaurant are very good , the meals are huge! We are really looking forward to our next visit.

Our first trip away in our caravan. The owners son was very helpful in telling how to set up correctly. The site is peaceful in the middle of nowhere hurrah no phone signal really enjoyed it Had sunday lunch in the club house whilst watching the Grand Prix, all fresh cooked food I believe, grown by the owners, this is after all a working farm We found the toilets and showers to be very clean. I watched the cleaner go by our unit several times every day. I did find that the children were being allowed to play in the toilets and perhaps they did leave it a little untidy, but on the whole a lovely site, lots of walks and plenty of fishing

My Family and I have just returned from a 4 night stay here. This is our 3rd time here and just like previous years we were not disappointed. So just a quick review as nothing much has changed. The camp site is always kept clean and tidy, so nice to see the youngsters helping around the camp site. The shop is still well stocked and so reasonably priced, highly recommend the fresh sausages, not sure if its from the animals on the farm, but so yummy. The swimming pool could do with a little tlc, but was always clean. The bar area and games room is still popular in the evening serving delicious food as well as a take away menu. Again the prices are really good value for money. Was nice to see the stables are still there providing horse riding, either around the park or of through the woods for the more experienced riders. The lakes are still full of fish for you to do course fishing, well the top lake is as the other half and son found out. Overall the camp site is pretty remote, well 20 mins drive into Tiverton, but there is plenty to do for every one. For a camp site that hasn't raised its pitch prices through the roof, this is a great value camp site.

We enjoyed a hearty welcome from the farmer who owns the site. It is clearly something that has been handed down from his father and he is training his children to take on the business. Nice.
A 'homely' site with good, clean and well maintained facilities. The restaurant, bar and swimming pool are really handy; good food and beer at reasonable prices and the pool (free to residents) is split into kids and adults areas with a slide.
We were very unfortunate to pick two weeks of almost solid rain. So good job this site had such excellent indoor facilities! Towards the end the farmer was dumping sand onto vacated pitches to control the mud problem; let me emphasise though that these were exceptional circumstances and it was being dealt with efficiently.
Locally (short drive) there are ample shopping facilities (although there is a well-stocked shop with very reasonable prices on site - get there early for the freshly baked french bread though!).
One thought if you do not like rallies. There are a lot of families who have been coming to this site for years and their children / children's children continue the tradition and tend to holiday at the same time. We experienced some 'boisterous' behavior amongst groups of youngsters / teenagers in the pool at times, but the owner was quick to act. There was also a certain amount of 'hogging the pool table' etc in the bar area; again the owner is quick to spot behaviour that can be considered harmless complacency by the regulars.
If you are new to camping and have kids, this is an excellent site to mitigate the risks of English weather. Throw in the fact that there is free fishing to complement the other indoor amenities and you have a camping holiday that caters to a diverse range of tastes.

Stayed at this site in the first Bank Holiday of April. Arrived to a friendly welcome at reception, where all the site was explained to us and we were directed to our pitch. The site was well looked after and maintained. The pitch was flat and seemed considered for what we wanted (we were in a quiet part for couples it seemed. Whereas the families were nearer the playgrounds and shower blocks). There were plenty of water and waste points dotted about the park and either of the shower blocks were within easy reach. These blocks were fairly modern and cleaned regularly. The hot water was free for the showers, as was the washing-up section.
There was a couple of small playgrounds and a football pitch for the children as well as the indoor heated swimming pool with flume. The site had a well stocked shop and a site pub, which seemed very popular, although we didn't use it. It also has 2 fishing lakes and horse riding all onsite!
The surrounding area was fairly quiet. It was a little drive to Tiverton and a bit further to Barnstable the other way. The drive from the site in the direction of Bovey Tracey through Dartmoor was very nice.
Overall a good site and we will more than likely go back at some time.

Loved this campsite, very friendly and welcoming. Have 3 children ranging from the age of 13 down to 2, and all of them thoroughly enjoyed it. The oldest two went horse riding for the first time. They made lots of friends and can't wait to go back. Food was delicious and not too expensive. Shop was well stocked from food down to camping accessories. Had a lovely cream tea there, even with fresh strawberries on the side which was gorgeous, nothing was too much effort. Going back over august bank holiday, taking our tent and my parents are going in our caravan where we are going to leave it in storage so we can enjoy weekend breaks. Look after caravans very well when they take them of the pitch they get washed and put into storage. In the centre of Devon, so north and south are very accessible, went to Woollacombe as my son loves surfing and took about 50 mins to get there which we didn't find to bad.

Spent a few days here at Easter, attracted mainly by the pool (daughter's a water babe) and that it's an hour's drive from home.
There were many plus points:-
Friendly and helpful reception and very prompt replies to my email queries. Good bar, keen prices, food looked fine and popular, though we didn't try it. Great to have a games room, especially in dodgy weather, with table footie, table tennis & pool. Well-stocked shop, not too dear. Nice they don't charge extra to use the swimming pools. Camping fields very spacious and well-maintained. Shower blocks modern and clean. Very quiet and peaceful - in the middle of nowhere. Nice walks in the woods for the dogs, though the trail signs have long disappeared.
Only a few negatives:- the pools were not very warm - you needed to keep swimming or jumping around with a beachball or you'd freeze. Pool surroundings rather tired and starting to look grubby - could definitely do with a refurb. The site's website makes much of the fact that it's a real farm with a campsite integrated into it, which kids will enjoy. There was a field with some bullocks in and the riding stables, of course, but I didn't see anything that kids could explore or join in with.
It's a nice site, but it didn't really ring my bell.

Stayed here mid-September.The majority of the pitches were seasonal and by Sunday evening we were more or less on our own. Toilet facilities good, shop well stocked and reasonably price, staff always friendly and helpful. My husband fished the lower and upper lakes and enjoyed that. Our dog at the time of visit had a leg injury so we couldn't take advantage of the walks. A great place for families, very safe and plenty for the kids to do.

What a great site this is. All of the staff on site very friendly and helpful. The owner even let me go in the shop when it was closed . Swimming pool was good fun specially the water slide.Horse riding short session was a great idea for people unsure whether they would like horseriding. Very reasonable price £22 for 2 nights with electric for a site with all these facilities was great. I've paid £25 for pitch a night on sites with less facilities .The food was excellent value for money in pub and takeaway. I have never been to a site with as many regulars as this one .Most people we spoke to have been coming to Yeatheridge for years. I will definitely return to this site .
