A spotless site with lovely views from the top field, plenty of space between pitches and a very helpful and friendly warden.
My only criticism is that it is not a very pleasant walk to the nearest pub. There were two choices and one would have been walking along a busy, fast road with no path, just grass verge.
This we discounted and walked uphill to the farm as instructed - a steep climb but lovely view, then on to a main road with no pavement so the 4 of us had to walk in single file. As we had a walking 2 year old with us this was not pleasant.
The local pub owner actually drove 2 of us and baby back, as there was no local transport! We had only booked for one night and chose this site as it says 1 mile to food and drink and it is certainly more than that.
There didn't seem to be any other walks nearby unless you took your vehicle. However, if you want a quiet site and don't look for local amenities, this is a bolt hole that is just perfect.

Lovely friendly site, excellent staff and facilities. Very near to two main roads / motorway but noise was not intrusive. Enjoyed walks, sitting by the river, listening to the birds and just chilling out.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The site is split into three sections the lower one by the river is adult only ( due to its close proximity to the fast flowing river ) and the upper two are reserved for families.
There was very little in the site shop but this is to be expected as they were due to close in the next two weeks, Shops are not far away so was not a problem

A beautifully laid out site well run by hard-working wardens. We were in the adult only field. The wardens greeted us on arrival, checked us in and showed us to our pitch. They work together as an excellent team.
Helped all the campers who needed assistance for e;g whilst we were there an elderly couple arrived and the wardens even helped to peg the awning on the caravan for them, also lent us some aerial bits which we needed as said nothing was too much trouble for them. This has to be said Well done to you all!
The 5 star shower block was showroom clean and lit by motion-sensor lighting to save power when not in use, as were the toilets and the washing up units not a spot of dirt to be seen anywhere.
It is easy to find and close to major access roads so there is inevitable road noise, which seemed inaudible to us no car noise only the beautiful tunes of birdsong instead. All in all, a lovely site and cannot wait to return again soon. The quiet site doesn't have any entertainment facilities which to us is bliss, harmony just what was ordered at the time!

We stayed here with our family on pitches 61 and 71 in the middle field for the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. This is a lovely site with large spacious pitches spread over three fields.
There are some new fully serviced pitches with hardstanding and we were on very well mown grass. The facilities were spotless and well equipped and the wardens friendly and helpful.
We spent a wet Saturday in Swansea which isn't too far away and had the next day in the sunshine on the site as it was so pleasant and peaceful. There were a lot of people here over the weekend but it never felt crowded and it was nice to see all types of units mixed in together.
Only one adverse comment and that is to ask for a bit more lighting on the path to the middle field. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

A beautifully laid out site well run by hard-working wardens. We were in the top field adjacent to the amazing dog walk field, which was much appreciated by our four-legged friend.
The shower block was showroom clean and lit by motion-sensor lighting to save power when not in use. The site doesn't have much in the way of entertainment facilities other than a grassed area for playing games and a river to paddle in but this wasn't relevant to us as we were mainly using it as a touring base for the area.
It is easy to find and close to major access roads so there is inevitable road noise, which seemed to be audible all of the time. Somehow we managed to tune it out and listen to the birdsong instead. All in all, a lovely site but for a longer stay I would want a quieter location.

We visited River View following a recommendation of a family member, and we were not disappointed. The wardens greeted us on arrival, checked us in and showed us to our pitch.
We were in the top field with views over the valley down to the river and lower touring park. The site whilst not level has been laid out with hardstanding pitches with plenty of room to park the car and a decent grassed area surrounding the pitch. Plenty of electric (10amp) available and water and drainage conveniently located near by.
The park is kept immaculate and the toilet block is one of the cleanest we have used. The paths were well lit at night and the field gates locked for security. A very clean, well run site and we look forward to going back to River View in the future.

Took my newly acquired Freedom caravan to this site as a trial run and could not have picked a better place to go for my first time out.
Lovely clean facilities all very well laid out.
There are three fields and one is set aside strictly for adults and those with mobility problems.
I particularly liked the layout of the field and the size of the allocated pitch. No chance of anyone else pitching too close.
Lovely walks and the dog field was fantastic.
Owners very helpful and I had good guidance in reversing for the first time!
A great place to relax and I will definitely be back.

As others have said, the site was spotless and the facilities were superb.
Our party consisted of 6 adults and four children (two 2year olds and two 10year olds) and unfortunately we didn't find this site to be child friendly at all.
Our kids are all used to camping and are not little hooligans, but were constantly being told off for doing no more than playing. We were the only people sitting outside our unit after 8.30pm, everyone else sealing themselves into their caravans which we found a bit strange.
Finally we found the noise from the M4 intolerable, in all my years of camping I have never been pitched a few hundred yards away from a motorway and the traffic was relentless day and night.

This is a lovely little site with very welcoming owners and staff.
The facilities are spotless and fantastic. The family room is a real bonus.
There is a small on-site shop and lots of tourist information available.
The only real downside is the road noise that comes from the 2 nearby A roads.

This site is situated just minutes from the Welsh end of the M4 motorway. The toilets were immaculate and the owners were really helpful: This was our first ever caravan holiday, I was making a hash of reversing into the space, so the owner kindly offered to do it for me, we forgot the corkscrew so they lent us one, and when our hookup lead wouldn't reach the electric point, they lent us one of those also. It's in a pleasant location near the confluence of a number of streams. Recommended!
