Had a very pleasant stay at this club site. Consists of three fields, one near the entrance, with a few hook ups, a second one with with hard standings and a third which was a grass field with no hook ups.

Comments have been made about the toilet facilities here, which although basic and in a portacabin, were clean and serviceable. They were showing there age a bit but credit to the site team who kept them clean even over the last busy weekend before the schools return. I understand that there were plans to replace the toilet block over the winter with a modern block.

The town and beach can be walked to but we tended to drive. Found an excellent Farm Ice Cream Parlour on the road to Skegness!

Whilst there we enjoyed some fantastic sunsets. I'm sure we will return.

We visited this campsite to have a traditional family seaside break. We were not disappointed.

The site is very spacious and the units were well spread out. The grass was in excellent condition, the staff were friendly.

The play area was enjoyed by the children and the toilets were very clean.

The location is just out of town which gives this a nice countryside feel. The walk into town and the beach is manageable. The kids loved the golden sand and the town had a nice feel.

Will return soon.

On arrival we were greeted by Pam & Graham (Site Managers), who were more than welcoming, there is a little shop in the site office selling basic things if you run out.

We were shown direct to our pitch (we could have had a choice of 3) put we opted for with EHU. This was nice and flat, the grass was well cut, but the ground was a little hard in some places. Graham then explained where everything was and the does & don’ts of the site.

There are 3 big fields, 2 with no EHU and 1 with EHU. There is a small children’s play area and an information point with payphone in the 2 fields.

The 3 field has the toilet & shower block, these are cleaned every day between 10. 30am to 12. 00pm. The cubicles are on the small side and the showers (when pressed) don’t last long, but they are hot & free!, there is 1 hair dyer which is 20p.

Next to this is the Dishwashing area with 3 sinks and washer which is £1. 50, which takes 50p and a hand washing sink too. There is also a Drying (Clothes) area at the side of the ladies toilets. The disable washroom / toilet is also on the back of this room.

Eslan is at the left hand side of this building and is a Toilet with a hose pipe attached, which doesn’t smell. The site is quite, even with families on with younger children. The grass is always cut and the bins and empted daily

You are allowed to pitch either front to back or visa versa, but to not length ways and they do ask what size your tent is!

If you go down Seaholme Road and walk to the end you have a choice to go either left or right, left takes you into Mablethorpe it’s self and is a nice walk, which has a children’s play area and public toilets, turn right and walk along the beach front, which go’s on forever, you will end up in Sutton on Sea a lovely little village which has some great restaurants. The beach does allow dogs on and is every clean.

A nice site within easy reach of everything, will return here!

We were at the ccc mablethorpe site for the jubilee celebrations and all in all it was a pretty decent no frills camping/caravan site. The wardens were very helpful and friendly, the toilets were always clean even during the busy weekend.

The site and surrounding area is very flat so wind can be a problem as there are no tree's for protection.

Try to avoid entering the site from church lane as the tight right hand turn into the site could prove tricky if you're towing a large caravan its best to drive into mablethorpe town centre and come in via seaholme road.

The surrounding area is good for exploring as there are some nice little traditional english seaside towns and various world war two airfield/museums if the weather heads south.

The beaches there are also fantastic as they are virtually empty and seem to go on forever, if you go to the beach in mablethorpe near the seal sanctuary there are even some small sand dunes where the kids can play, the beaches are a great place to fly those huge parachute style kites as well as there is nobody on them.

As in previous reviews I have to agree mablehorpe itself could do with a bit of mone investing in it but at the end of the day its just your average seaside town.

With the usual amusement arcades and cheap novelty goods shops, point of warning if you like Chinese takeaways you may be out of luck as we couldn't find one in mablethorpe, not good when you've got your heart set on some oriental junk food !

We will come back to this site as its an ideal place to get to and a very pleasant site.

Arrived mid afternoon allowed to choose pitch, ground very un even grass long proved to be a problem later. Play area looked new in centre of camping field however not fenced in lots of cars coming past it did not feel safe for our youngest to go to alone.

Toilet/washroom facilities reasonably clean but not enough, only eight showers9 four male four female and quite small cubicles also dated and in need of modernization.

Very exposed site, note wind farm behind campsite needs some trees planting to give shelter. We had awful weather very windy and wet, if grass had been cut, feet would have been much drier.

In all good location but needs some tender loving care to bring up to standard we normally expect from a camping and caravan club site.

Best thing recommended cafe by site owners when our gas burner broke, yummy breakfast and so reasonable at busy bee cafe mablethorpe

This site is a well kept site grass is well cut. Free showers toilet's clean and tidy but the toilet block is a bit out of date it really needs up dating as it lets the site down.

Warden was very friendly and helpful on arrival and all through the weekend small shop in reception area but didn't see bread or milk sold there.

Play area for children in next field so they have plenty of room to play as its away from main camping site.

It's about 10/15mins walk into town centre, all the normal things you get at a small seaside place, slot machine, gift shops, supermarket and eating places

I would really recommend the copper kettle for breakfast or for a main meal, it's good food for a good price and it also caters for disabled people as there is a door on the side for wheel chairs.

Back to the site this is the 2nd time I have stayed at this site and I will be going back in the near future give it ago, it's great for a weekend away by the sea.

We stayed here for 3 nights at Easter 2012. We booked online quite late on and it still had availability. We were on a grass pitch with electric, hardstandings also available. The pitch was level and the grass in good condition.

The site was easy to find and the gate was open to let us drive straight in and park just after reception.

Check in was easy and welcoming and then we were taken down behind the lawn mower to our pre-assigned pitch. The warden told us about the toilets, toilet disposal and waste water dump. The waste water dump isn't a driveover as such, its a grate to be lifted and there is a piece of drain pipe you can use from your outlet to get above the hole.

The site was quite, but was pretty full, maybe the easter rain kept people in doors.

We walked to the town in sunshine breaks and had a look at the beach. It's a typical English seaside resort with arcade, funfair, shops etc. We went to Daves Restaurant on Sunday for sunday dinner. I found it on trip advisor and it was a nice meal. We got there just before 12 and it was already nearly full. Large selection of roast dinners plus other meals.

The site has a children's adventure slide in one of the fields, away from the main touring area.

The toilets were quite small and obviously not brand new, they could probably do with a refurb. The standard toilet was quite narrow but useable. The showers were ok, the button needs to be held down constantly though.

Trip was good, relaxing for us and we had no real wishes to do lots of things - just to be away in the van.

This was our 2nd camping experience wasn't as good as the first.

The campsite in a whole was OK for a few days stay.

As with everything there is a positive and negatives.

Sites facilities were basic and standard, toilets and showers could do with being updated.

There was a charge for using the shower £1. 00 for 10 mins and key access was required at all times.

We spent 3 nights on the campsite used £10s worth of shower cards for a family of 4, little things like this are extra costs which sites don't mention. Also there is a cost to the laundry room £3. 00 for the washer and £3. 00 for the dryer and £2. 95 for the washing powder.

Club house was warm and friendly, price of beer very expensive, £3. 00 a pint, a little bit on the dear side for an out of town pub.

The little shop on site made a good breakfast(fry up) was a good price worth the money.

Our stay overall was good just beaware of those extra little costs, we spent little time on site, again this review is only my opinion.

Had a great time at this site. We found the staff to be very helpful on arrival and during our stay they gave us info on where to visit etc.

Like previous reviewers, we found the showers to be of the push button type and they did go off after a few seconds, it was quite annoying, but the water was hot and the showers were clean.

The play area kept our two children busy (ages 5 and 8) and we felt secure enough to let them ride their bikes over to it unsupervised. It was a very busy site, but due to the location and the time of year to be expected.

Possible to walk into Mablethorpe which we did often, our two children did it on foot and on bikes and whilst it was a bit of a challenge after a long exhausting day of fun on the beach, was doable.

Bought some lovely fruit from the houses on the way to town, had great fun at a free paddling pool near the sea front, lovely clean beach which stretched for miles and miles.

Took the sand train to the sea sanctuary at Mablethorpe-great fun. Wonderful views of the wind farm. Would recommend to anyone.

A lovely site situated a medium walk from Mablethorpe sea front (about 1 mile). The approach isn't as tight as some reviews might suggest (if your experienced) and the grounds are open and easily accessible.

On arrival we found the staff friendly, flexible and accommodating. We were a party of two (tent & caravan) and the warden was flexible enough for us to be able to position ourselves in such a manner as we could face each other.

The facilities are very clean, maybe a little dated but who cares so long as they are clean and tidy and looked after appropriately.

The grounds are exceptional with nice grass and big open spaces. Our children never left the play area which looked like a relatively new addition.

Overall the camp site is very quiet and the warden takes the time to police evening noise levels.

Mablethorpe is not huge but it has a good co-op and many other of the usual shops. The beach is fantastic golden sand and you can spend a small fortune in the amusements when its raining.
