We were using this site as a base to visit friends in Coventry over the Easter Weekend and, although not our first choice, the site suited our needs. On arriving after 9:30 at night, delayed due to traffic, we were the only tent on site (there was gale force winds forecast). The staff were really helpful and ensured we were pitched in the top corner of the camping field with as much shelter as possible. What was also really thoughtful were the 'check ins' we received daily to see if we had survived the night in one piece and offering weather updates.
Sadly what let the site down were the facilities, it is very much catered for Caravans and Campervans. The set up was very odd, in a prefab were a shower and toilet and only one of each, very small. There was an additional toilet in a shed and an additional shower in another cabin which also housed the washing up station and launderette, all in one room so if in use, all three are closed off. Luckily we are late risers so missed the queues but on busy weekends I can see this being an issue.
Overall the site is clean, tidy and well kept but needs some money spending on a proper facilities block.

A great little site - very quiet (adults only !) - no road noise as some reviews mention. Spacious gravel pitches with hookup.
Clean but very basic shower block.
Good dog walk direct from site.
We arrived later than planned due to problems on the A14 but this was not a problem - warden told us to pitch up and sort out payment etc in the morning which we duly did.

Smashing site and adult only!
As everyone previously has said, good, clean site with good facilities and helpful staff.
Will come back (and the curry house was pretty good too!). Rugby and Coventry both within easy striking distance, though we didn't bother.
No criticism, unless weather is something the owners can improve on.

All said before but what a little gem of a site! We have just returned from an enjoyable four night stay and would recommend this quiet, peaceful site to anyone looking for a relaxing break.
During our mid week stay there were never any issues with intrusive noises from either the road or near by industrial units as previously reported?
Toilet and shower facilities are basic but VERY clean and be assured my wife is very particular!
Looking forward to seeing Jean and her team in the near future.

Good flat pitched site, allowed to pick any pitch we wanted on arrival. Water and ehu were very close to our pitch. Grass was mown very short, flowers/pots well maintained. The warden was very helpful.
Slight road noise from the 'a' road, roughly 500 metres away, although this wasn't excessive or interrupting to sleep at night.
Access onto the disused railway line very close to the site, (word of advice, don't go towards rugby on it though as it becomes very boggy, and overgrown with nettles and brambles - we suffered on the bikes and had to return!)
Indian in the village of Marton was good (roughly half a mile walk away), mid week it was very quiet though!
Site accommodates a mix of permanent residents and tourers/tents, no issues during our stay.
Light industrial unit just behind the site in the old railway yard, some light garage style noise in the daytime, but not intrusive when we were there.
Toilet and showers were basic, but totally serviceable. Have seen a lot worse! Water was hot and plentiful

Just got back from Lairhillock Park, a fantastic site, warden very friendly, was able to park and set up wherever we wanted. Lovely, peaceful site, all you could here was the birds singing.
Great places to walk the dog (she thoroughly enjoyed it ). Good facilities for showering, washing up. Will definitely return in the next few weeks. A gem of a place !

We have just returned from this site which is a great place. Well looked after and great owners. The pitches are nice a flat with short cut grass. You are never far away from a water tap but do need long hook up leads on most pitches.
We did have the weekend spoilt a bit with the residential caravan next to us who like to sit outside and talk loud at silly times in the morning, 06. 30am Saturday, 07. 00 on Sunday and Monday. I go away to relax and sleep in on a morning. These people need to respect other campers and think others are away to relax.
Would I return. Maybe!.

We have recently returned from a most enjoyable stay at this site. Unfortunately, we had to cut it short due to family problems but hope to return as soon as our situation permits. The site and facilities are very well maintained by the new warden and both he and the lady owner are most helpful and pleasant - nothing is too much trouble. This site is a great place for cycling and walking with or without dogs.

Our second visit this month to this lovely quiet site. Grounds look so well kept and tended and the gardener obviously takes pride with his lawns and flowers and was always out doors tidying, cleaning or watering. This was really useful because he answered our questions (as the warden was not around) he even gave us a much needed hand to pitch the tent when he saw two ladies struggling!
Once again able to select our pitch and take full advantage of the country walks with the dogs, great bbq weather too! although we did give in to temptation and visit the nearby Indian restaurant!
Added extra to have the owner come around daily in her car to make sure things were going okay. As before toilets and showers basic but fit for purpose with the little extras of a washing machine and fridge freezer for communal use
Will return very soon as we have not seen a nicer site locally to tempt us elsewhere. Thankyou keep up the good work.
