On our second visit having been her over Easter when it was quite busy but very pleasant, a busy site I always feel must be a good site or it wouldn't be so busy. Just spent most of the week on site, go home tomorrow, (what a pity) such a lovely quiet little site, no kids running around, no ball games hitting the van, nice low level lighting at night, new hard standing added only this week, toilets very basic but adequate.
Lots of lovely walks and bike rides around the area, restaurant only 1 mile away lots of pubs in next village only 3 miles away, supermarkets, chemist, fish & chips etc only 5 miles away, Coventry Motor Museum, Warwick Castle, Rugby Football trail & Museum etc all in easy stricking distance.
We will be back to see much more of the area

Just spent a second stay at this site and it didn't disappoint again. The warden remembered us and our friends and she gave us a warm welcome. The toilets and showers were lovely and clean and smelt clean too. They are old but serviceable. The site is well kept and was very busy
We will be back soon. A basic but pleasant place to be with easy access by car/bike to every where local. Thanks Claire.

Have just spent 2 nights on site. Warden very helpful but disappointed by facilities, they were clean in ladies showers although very primitive. The mens were not so clean. We were at the far end of site- very private but lots of flies. The noise from the industrial units next to the site was very annoying ( we live by Birmingham airport)and went on till late Saturday night. Sorry won't be going back.

Just spent a few days at this site. I know it was bank holiday but the vans were crammed together like sardines. The toilet facilities were very poor and need upgrading to cope with a full site especially due to price being charged. Also, it appears that there are very large caravans that look residential with unsightly army trucks parked there. Spoilt it for us. The area is lovely with good local pubs and walks so a pity really when having had a lovely day out you came back to looking at caravans on top of each other, army trucks and vans. Will be giving another visit a miss I'm afraid.

I have just been to Lairhillock Park and what a lovely place to have a break. The new warden welcomed us onto the site and she was a lovely person to meet. We had a pick of pitches due to it not being very busy, the warden showed us everything we needed to know. The toilet blocks and showers were SO clean and smelt lovely. The warden is a credit to the lovely site and its surroundings, we will be back in the summer, keep up the good work!

Lairhillock Park is a small, friendly, family run business. We were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and given a variety of pitches to pick. We picked one to the far right hand side, nearest the hedge.
The first thing I have to say is that the site, although beautifully quiet in terms of campers, sits at the top of a hill with a busy a-road one side, and a row of industrial units the other. We didn't hear much at all from the industrial units, and you can't see them at all, but the road noise we did hear. I think it's a massive favourite for bikers and lovers of fast cars. On arrival the noise shocked me a bit, but I must say I did sort of learn to ignore it and towards the end of our stay I didn't even notice (I am very noise sensitive!). I read a few reviews mentioning noise before and it really worried me, but you did just start to not hear it. It isn't however the complete tranquillity some people may be after.
For those in a tent and thus use the facilities the most I would have thought, the facilities here are very basic. There are two ladies toilets and two men's, and each sex has one shower each. The toilets were super clean, but they are very old and I didn't attempt to shower. There is an additional toilet in a shed (which is bit random!) and an addition shower in the washing up area (even more random because you are on full view of everyone in there!). There is one sink to wash up plates etc.
There are nice walks around the site with lovely fields behind. Kenilworth was definitely worth a visit.
I think it's a good short stay site. I don't think the facilities would enable you to stay that long, and for those really looking to ''get away from it all' really be aware of the road noise.

A small, nice site with easily accessible and well laid out pitches. We went for 2 nights to try out our new tent, with friends in a caravan. The wardens were flexible as to where we set up as the site was not very busy, and all the pitches looked pretty flat / even and were very well kept. Plenty of fresh water taps available, along with electric hook-ups if required.
There are two things that let this site down - the noise and the look of the toilet facilities.
The noise is road noise from the busy A423 close by and airplane noise, probably freight planes going into Coventry airport.
The toilet facilities do the job and there is lots of free hot water in the showers and good water pressure - but it just looks a bit shabby in the mens and womens facilities in a portable cabin and the outside loo (in a shed) and the big shower unit in the same shed as the washing-up sink is all just a bit odd really. I would not want to be there when the site is full though, as I can imagine queuing a while for a loo / shower with just 2 loos in the ladies and 1 shower, plus the shed loo and shed shower. However, it was all very clean.

Lovely adult site and the warden could not have been more helpful. Ok the facilities were a little basic but were very clean. Papers delivered free of charge and on time.
Very quiet. No mud, well drained, clover covered grass. Cant wait to return again.
The site owner visited every day for a cheerful word and to make sure we were happy. If it was not for dental and hospital appointments we would not have left the site after ten nights of pure bliss

We have just spent 2 weeks at lair hillock and really enjoyed it.
Yes the toilet block and shower are really old fashioned but much better than the clinicle modern ones, they are bigger and just as clean just like being in a log cabin.
The wardens are very friendly and helpful, it is a really clean site with ample size pitches, we spoke to the owner who is really laid back and again very helpful and friendly,
Would reccommend to friends, at the price they are charging you wont get much better, we hope to go again soon.

We arrived and were met by the wardens, shown to our pitch and offered papers each morning of our stay. This is a very sweet little site with excellent dog walking. I have bullet pointed a few things of interest:
1) first half of the driveway is a little bumpy but then opens out to a nicely maintained drive and site.
2) the site is off a busy road and I suppose if you are really listening you can hear the traffic a bit, but certainly not enough to complain about unless you are really sensitive to noise.
3) plenty of good dog walks but no poo bins!
4) toilets and showers leave a lot to be desired, however we have nice on board facilities so this wouldn't put us off.
We had a nice peaceful break at this site but I do think it is a little overpriced and will probably look for better value for money next time out.
