Small well-kept field. Quiet site, although there was some traffic noise from the nearby road. What let the site down was the toilets and showers. The ladies consisted of just two toilet cubicles in a portakabin which was also used for storage. The shower was a single unit within a large wooden shed, again this appeared to be used for storage. We had a pleasant weekend but it helped that the weather was good and the site was not busy. This is somewhere to stay for a couple of nights and not for a long period.

This site was quiet because it was adults only, however unfortunately the main road close by was more than a back ground hum and spoiled the peace and tranquillity we were expecting.
The site is very nicely kept, the owner very friendly, the unusual toilet block was always clean and well stocked. Did not use the nearby pubs so can't comment.
Unfortunately we did not have any of the lovely views from our pitch, just a hedge on one side and the car opposite on the other! However if you where on a different pitch you may well have.
Cheap enough price at £12.00 for two but unfortunately would not return due to traffic noise.

This was our second visit to the site, the first being last year when it was our very first outing with our tent. This year we returned for a short break, with our dog, which we arranged at the last minute, without any problem; although on arrival it was apparent that we were probably the last to be accepted as the site was full.
Jean the owner met us an hour or so after our arrival, with a friendly but not overbearing welcome; whilst the warden even offered a hand to pitch our tent as we had to move from one part of the field to the other. Since our last visit the shower has been upgraded in the separate shower block, and we both like to use this big room which gives plenty of space to put your dry clothes, wash bag etc, without feeling hemmed in. Both toilet blocks were exceptionally clean; although we didn't use the shower in either simply because we prefer the bigger room.
There are some lovely walks nearby where both humans and dogs can stretch their legs, and although there is no site shop, the warden did offer to take any newspaper orders for the weekend if we wanted them.
Overall we were thoroughly impressed and as it is only 30 minutes drive from where we live it is well placed for a last minute trip to recharge the batteries, and the fact that it remains an Adult Only site gets our thumbs up every time. We look forward to going back to Lairhillock Park in the very near future.

Stayed at this site for a couple of days and can honestly reccomend it here.
Adults only site located alongside a lovely Park Home site. Great access to disused railway now a bridleway that runs for miles if you fancy walking or cycling.
There is a great pub in the village of Marton that has an in-house Indian Restaraunt and it is within walking distance from the site.
Owner very friendly and even went as far as to drive round on the Sunday to tell people that there was no rush to leave site as it was a beautiful and hot day.
We loved this site for its location, the walks and the peace and quiet.
As reported on earlier reviews the amenities are located within a portakabin but this was not a problem and the times that we did use them they were really clean.
I cant wait to visit this site again.

Just as it was last year, the site is a haven of peace and quiet its in the middle of countryside and yet close enough to the big towns and cities that if you do suffer shopping withdrawal symptoms, you can get to the shops in about half an hour.
This site has no flash facilities, but the ones that are there are clean and adequate. And lets face it if your not happy with them you can always use your own! but for us it all adds to the charm of the site after all we don't spend our holidays in the shower do we? something new this year is that we could have a newspaper delivered which we enjoyed. We will definitely be returning here.

We booked a pitch at Lairhillock at the beginning of August. The site itself is small but clean and well maintained.
The exception being the shower and toilet facilities that are small for the number of visitors.
PROBLEM: NOISE - without doubt the noisiest site we have ever stayed at. Next door is an industrial unit and all afternoon the sound of a pneumatic drill cutting stone could be heard. The noise was deafening and it really spoilt our stay. Apparently this was a one off but who knows?
Secondly the main road. The site is described as quiet. We would absolutely disagree. The noise from the road is very intrusive and cars are going past at all hours of the day and night.
Thirdly, aeroplanes. Continuous noise from aeroplanes overhead heading into Coventry airport we presumed.
The surrounding area has plenty to offer and the local village of Long Itchington has a good selection of pubs and restaurants.

Have just returned from this site and it was all we hoped for and more.
Looking at other peoples reviews, yes the shower block was a portacabin but it was always spotlessly clean and we never had to wait for a shower, and this was peak season!
We chose this site as we needed to recharge our batteries,so to speak! and the 10 days we spent here were amazing.
Not only was the site very relaxing, the owner was always very friendly and very helpful, also the other campers frequently came over for a laugh and a joke with us something we had not experienced before, and the site is well placed for touring around and for us the best bit was that it was close to a disused railway line and we could walk our dogs, off the lead, for miles in either direction. We will certainly be returning. Thank you Jean for a wonderful stay.

We (one couple) had one short night at the Lairhillock Park.
Was generally quite good. Nice, free showers and toilet. Quiet site. 10 Pounds for a tent, regardless of number of people, is pretty good. Coming in at night and leaving the next morning seemed to confuse the lady we dealt with.
The ground is quite hard and rocky for tent pegs.
For a cheep nights sleep and shower was very good.

A very nice site. Good toilets and showers. A good pub just down the road (about 15 mins walk) that also serves excellent indian food. A few mins drive in the other direction and there is a chinese restaurant and a couple more pubs.
Owners friendly and welcoming will be returning here for another visit.
