Just returned from a very enjoyable first visit. Beautifully laid out site, friendly staff. Despite being the last weekend of half term there was plenty of room. The toilets/showers were kept spotless. Despite having a large gathering at the end of our field, it wasn't too noisy, everything went quiet by about 10.30pm. We were pitched on the other side of the horses field, which meant that there were a few more flies than normal, but that didn't in any way lessen our enjoyment. We would definitely recommend staying here!

August 2005 A very good site, well kept with plenty of room. There is a small shop and some hot & cold snacks can be obtained. Toilets / shower block are clean & tidy with a small washing up area. This was our second visit to this site and we have experienced very little aircraft noise given the site's close proximity to Kent International Airport. (Nice Real ale pub in Manston village, 10 mins across the field.)

June 2005 This is the second time we have visited this site, the first being about 15 years ago.
Seemed a bit expensive and we were charged for the baby as well, still lovely site, friendly owner.
Had a nice pitch and all 3 children were safe
They have a small playground area
Toilets were cleaned several times when i was there, showers were fine, nice hot water.
They also had a shop and food take away
Don't let the planes put you off we hardly heard them
10 minutes away from Broadstairs beach, all major supermarkets and a shopping centre
Well recommended for families

March 2005 This was our first visit to this sight and we were not disappointed. Very clean well kept level site.
The facilities were excellent and the owners very friendly. Although you are next to Kent International Airport, we were nevered bothered by any noise from planes. It is peacefull and would definately go back.

May 2004 This was our first time ever going out in our tourer, usually we stay in statics, we were not disappointed at all, this park was excellent, the facilities were spotlessly clean, always seemed to be a cleaner in there, the staff were extremely helpful with the park being great for the kids too, they have a nice play park although we were slightly disappointed that there wasn't much for the younger ones to do in this. Overall though this park is well worth a visit, it also allows dogs with a separate dog walking area. We will definately be visiting it again.

August 2003 Visited on the hottest weekend of the year so far. Campsite clean and pleasant. Very efficient owners who were busy. Slight sense that Caravanners got a better deal than campers. Only one water point by the washing up area. Only two washing up spaces for a 10 acre site. 4 ladies showers which were constantly in use at peak times. Litle shop which sold food and drink, will freeze your blocks for 25p each but it is worth naming your blocks, or handing then in in a distinctive carrier bag. Half our camping field had caravans in it, but tents were on their own. People camped around the edge next to hedges, and were also starting to camp on the entrance field, rather a long way from the shower blocks and water tap. Jolly farmer pub a 10 minute walk away in Manston does food. Quiet site at night. Popular with families. Very central for Mansdton Hurricane spitfire museum, and exploring Broadstairs (pretty) Ramsgate ..take it or leave it .. etc etc. Also has an amazing amount of superstores within about 15 minutes drive : ASDA, Matalan, Tesco, Sainsbury etc etc. Hard to believe as the campsite is in such a quiet position.
Very grateful for the proximity of lots of beaches within 20 minute drive
Joss Bay Broadstairs Lovely sandy bay. Very very popular during the height of the season. Personal space certainly invaded as the masses pile onto the beach from the huge car park. Worth going a little late as the tide goes out and staking a place below the strand line. Cafe that sells everything. Freshwater shower as you come off the beach. Pleasant safe swimming. £4 for the day parking. Need to take sunshade ..windbreaks beach tent etc to mark out your territory if you are not to have people sharing your towel! Viking coastal path can be walked or biked along this coastline.
Birchington. Sandy beach, not as crowded as Joss Bay because there is a long strand that people spread along as the tide goes out. Can be a little green and chalky further along, but very popular with people looking for crabs and things! Fair bit of parking. Shower near the beach huts. Parking slots along the road with some free parking if you get there early.
Ramsgate. Sandy beache, can park by the memorial Park and walk down the cliff, 89 steps to the beach, free parking as long as you don`t mind the climb, or driving down to the beach just past the memorial park fair sized car park with easy access to less busy beach. One side of the breakwater is an area for Jet Skis which can be hired at the height of the season. Other side of the breakwater and beyond is safe swimming . Once the tide goes out people spread along the beach. Cliff defences that you can walk along beside the sea. Bit noisy with Jet skis but interesting to watch European Ferry coming and going. Main beach further along is much more crowded. No facilities at this beach, ice-cream van calls, or you can go up the steps to the memorial Carden Cafe for food and drink. The most pleasant beach yet for us. Still chalky and green in parts. Only medium sized car park so need to come earlish in the height of the season to park.

July 2003 We decided to visit this camp site after reading the reviews already written. It was our first ever camping trip and I was a bit dubious to say the least but I can truthfully say that it was really good. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The facilities were clean and well looked after, the kids loved the play area and we appreciated the fact that it was in a quiet location. We will definitely visit again.

june 2003 We stayed here for our first camping trip with the children. We could not have chosen a better place. The site was peaceful, immaculately kept, toilets and showers exceptionally clean. The Park Manager was extremely helpful.
Plenty of space for the children to run around and they loved the playground.
Excellent site we will be returning and would recommend to anyone for a short stay if visiting Ramsgate,Margate or Broadstairs.

may 2003 Children loved this site with plenty of room to play. Adults liked the peace despite being next to airport (planes so infrequent it didn't matter). Small shop on site that also cooked basic food if too lazy to cook. No noisy bars/clubs - ideal for a relaxing few days - recommend.
