We stopped overnight at mill house to break up our journey back ' up north '. Its proximity to the m5 made it an ideal choice. I cant give too much of a review as we weren't there long but what we did see we liked, the shower & toilet block were clean & warm, the shop appeared to be quite well stocked & the grounds well kept. Our only complaint was we couldn't pick up any tv signal though that is hardly the sites fault, overall we spent a pleasant overnighter at mill house & wouldn't hesitate to stop there again

Myself and a friend camped here for 3 nights, 4 days in late July, in a tent.
The location of the site was inconvenient, if you want to go out on walks I don't recommend here, there are public footpaths but they just go onto farmers land and is quite boring and not very good (cross the main road, through the lane and cross over the bridge over the river/canal which is on the left). Have to be careful with children crossing this road.
Toilet blocks was kept clean, and was separate for male and female blocks. Toilet roll and hand soap was provided. I think there was 4 toilets, 2 showers with access to hot and cold water, be careful hot is very hot!
There was plenty of water points, but the drains underneath them are very smelly.
The play area for children is just 2 swings, so bring games to keep them entertained if you plan on staying on site.
There is a pub about 30 minutes away, you can walk there by turning left out from the site, down the main road and straight over the island until you reach a church. Its on the right/directly behind the church/grave yard. Very nice pub, and a shop about 20 minutes walking is from the pub.
There is a shop on site, very nice and pleasant staff ran the campsite, they would let you in the shop whenever you wanted, and they was quite reasonable with prices and sold bread, chocolate, biscuits, milk etc.
If you don't have electric, there is a charging point in the toilets (ladies, not sure about mens) on the wall, very convenient for phone charging.
Ice block freezing is available for 10p.
There was a river that ran through the campsite, but it wasn't much to look at, just an average river, but there are some fish in there and quite big!
It was £10 a night, not bad, but I would have liked it a little cheaper since it was on a main road.
A communal area would be nice, as the campers next to use was a big anti social with shades all around their tent so they was gated off and the other tent that was there looked away even if we smiled at them!
Its quite a flat ground in a tent, not too bumpy, the man was mowing the grass when we were there so it is kept nice and tidy.
The main disappointment was the main road and lack of places to walk to, the site itself seemed friendly enough with the people working there, but it got boring staying on site. Youths/young people would probably want somewhere a bit better if they wanted to go exploring.
Overall, the time spent here was okay, would be better if there was a communal area (some campsites have these now which are great), and if the drains was cleaned out under the water points.

Stopped over here for a couple of nights, friendly staff, shop and cafe on site, breakfast for 3. 50 very nicely cooked and good value for money, next tp dual carriage way but road noise not intrusive, toilet blocks very nice and clean and well kept, there is access of site to the canal tow path through a locked gate, key available at site office but once through it you will get stung and scratched by the over grown vegetation leading to the towpath, don't be fooled by the boats that look good in the photos they are just rotting hulks nobody wants any more and the buildings look a bit industrial
If you like a bit of telly in the evening forget stopping here as the reception is utter rubbish which is not mentioned on their website but admitted to when challenged.
As for site fees £10 non electric pitch and £15 pound with electric! £5 per night £150 per month! ££450 per quarter and can't even have the telly on, I think not I don't pay any where near that sort of money for electric at home
Overall nice quiet peaceful some pitches a bit to close together so would not stop here again

Returned to Millhouse after many visits as a child, now bringing my children.
Lovely quiet site, impressed with the clean amenities, 2 shower cubicles and many basins with space for wash bags etc (hand wash provided) in the ladies toilet blocks along with 2 dish washing sinks,
Quaint little cafe on site, with a small space separated off into a shop, indulged in a breakfast, highly recommended and at a reasonable price too, fast friendly service.
We enjoyed an electric hookup with no faults to report, fantastic value at a pitch cost rather than per person, very important to us with a large family it does make a difference.
Used elsan disposal point which could have benefited from hose attachment but other than that was quite satisfactory.
Not a lot for kids to do (bring own entertainment) fishing season had not started and although they made use of 'playground' this consisted of only 2 swings and basic 3 bar climbing frame, possibly worth an investment in the future?
Having said that they thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at mill house, although we felt a little bit away from everything (not necessarily a bad thing) we visited webbs of wychbold garden centre which was more of a complex with some great stores including Lakeland and hobbycraft.
Really enjoyed this trip down memory lane and will definitely be booking up again and hopefully partake of a bit of fishing next time, at 50pence a day again seemed great value!

We have just returned from a couple of nights at this site. We pitched at the end of the bottom field - furthest away from the main road (noisy but constant so tends to disappear into the background!). The staff are very friendly and helpful and the site was flat and spacious. The toilet block was clean and a number of water and rubbish sites were available. We enjoyed a walk along the canal, looking at the boats on the river and watching the local family of swans who grazed around the site each morning! A great little site with good links into Worcester and a family friendly pub about a mile away serving good food. We really enjoyed our stay here (only our second time camping!).

We stayed here for two nights over the August Bank Holiday. The site was busy and fairly lively with groups of families, but still quiet at night; we slept very well!
The site is just off the dual carriageway so easy to find; you can hear some noise from the road but its fairly muted and certainly didn't disturb us during our stay. The pitches are a good size with several along the riverbank; the toilet/shower block is fine, with hot showers. One or two extra showers would be good, as it was quite busy on the weekend we stayed. There is also a cafe where we had a full English breakfast on the Sunday (£3. 50 - pretty good value). The owners were friendly and welcoming. It's only a 8-9min drive into central Worcester so well placed if you want to nip into town.
All in all, we had a problem-free, relaxing stay and would certainly stay again if we were visiting the area in the future.

Been here for the last 2 weekends & loved it!
Both times we were pitched in the small field in our caravans (£15 per night with electric :) ) which suited us as we fished on the open river bank. Also closest to the toilets & showers but not much further from the 2nd field.
The owners are very friendly & the fishing is only 50p per rod a day. RESULT!
There's a cafe & small shop on site with more than reasonable prices.
Both male & female toilets also have showers & are always kept clean & tidy.
Only negative point - if you don't have satellite then you wont get a signal on your tv (from small field that is). This wasn't an issue for us as there's more to life than tv.
Worcester only a 15 minute drive to the car park by the race course, reasonable priced parking right in the heart of the town which has lots to see & do.
Supermarkets just 8 mins away or farm shop just 'up the road'.
Local site to us (35 mins) so we'll be back as often as we can for weekends away.

In a word, wonderful, its a place we've been, go back, and book to go again. Its peaceful, spacious, friendly, clean and tidy, reliable, and actually quite pretty to chill out to, we had loads of space for the kids to run around, never on top of each other, it seems perfect for older visitors and young, and appeals to both. Lovely little on site shop, friendly staff, and a cracking breakfasts at the weekend if you want someone else to wash the pots, I would say its quaint, and a bit old world, but that's actually its charm. The toilets and showers were immaculate, in fact it was all clean and tidy, and a short hop to whatever you might need, would recommend this site to anyone again and again.

Used as a one night halfway stop on the way down to Devon as it is handy for the M5 - thank god it was one night stay. This place is 'tired' I think would be a polite description. 1960's reception/cafe buildings - think 'local shop for local people'. Don't assume just because they are on Facebook it will be modern. They pitched us at the furthest point in a big open flat featureless field miles from the 'facilities'. Hidden brook running around the perimeter but surrounded by steep banks and foliage, not ideal for kids playing. Still looked more fun than the two rusty old swings which made up the 'play area'. Nor was their anywhere to let the dog off really though they say they have a dog walk. Don't know if there is anywhere good to exercise them nearby. Mug House pub is nice but don't think you can walk there unless your idea of a walk is along the grass verge of a busy dual carriageway. BUT - the coup de gras - was the sluice - quite literally a sh*thole - Just a small old painted breezeblock L-shape open structure with a rusty metal port hole in the ground on which you open by lifting up on a short urine soaked rope attached. Grim. And no we shan't be returning. 15 quid a night? With facilities like this I'd say knock a tenner off then fair enough.

We visited as part of a rally from a vehicle owners club that has held meets here for 9 years. Prices are good at £15 per night which includes your party, unit, awnings, ehu, dogs etc rather than the rip off pricing menus that a lot of sites now use, The site's really tidy and clean with good size, well laid out pitches and well located water\waste\chem points. Toilets and showers are near reception which is a bit of a walk if you're on the other side of the field and I guess some would mark it down for this but the facilities were always clean and tidy and it really shouldn't be a issue. Good dog walking along the canal which runs along side and this is accessed by using a locked gate from the site (key available from office). Nothing I could fault the site on, its a nicely kept site with good flat pitching areas, small basic shop and a nice little cafe for breakfasts (but that's cheating). Plenty to visit in the area including Worcester and the cathedral so definitely a nice site to stay at.
