Very friendly & efficient site. Great pitches, not too crowded, although it was Nov when we visited. Big site and excellent facilities, very clean, great showers. Town is a short walk away, hotels were best for a drink, we visited the Indian Restaurant at the top of the road from the site, excellent food.

Not as impressed with this site as maybe we should have been, yes they have a security barrier but it never came down during our stay. We were on pitch 6 right in front of the chem waste disposal, unfortunately this has storage attached to it that is used by local builders who were not even working on this site and woke us before 7 each morning loading their vans and then proceeded to drive over the grass and our cables as a short cut. When we spoke to the wardens we were politely told this should not be happening, unfortunately it continued. There are a lot of statics on site some of which seemed to be permanent lived in by builders. Yes nice looking site nice location, but far from perfect. Would we return, definitely not

Didn't book ahead just arrived on spec. Town was really busy due to motor rally we weren't aware of. Advised at reception they were full however they kindly found us a fully serviced spot. TV booster set provided. Fellow campers at other sites felt it was expensive here we thought it worth a bit extra for location. Sadly or fortunately depending on your constitution, we were positioned right next to toilet block. As a result there was constant boiler noise akin to a 747 take off day and night. Didn't bother my husband but it kept me awake at times. That said we would definitely return and book next time to avoid the noise from the facilities. All very clean and tidy beautiful area and great weather. Great for kids.

Lovely site above the town. Woods on one side and fields with horses on the other. Clean well appointed showers and loos. The track on one side of our pitch was obviously used by local dog walkers but it wasn't too noisy.
Grant town is a pleasant small town. We used it as a base to visit the Keith and Dufftown Railway and the Strathspey Railway. Both are lovely preserved railwyas providing different experiences

This is an absolutely immaculate caravan site ! very well manicured surroundings with large hard standings (ours had a TV point on the electric hook up too) Toilet & shower facilities had piped music and were spotlessly clean. A very nice young couple run the place an were very helpful. The site is a 10 minute stroll into the lovely town of Grantown on Spey (which so much reminded me of Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswolds) with its antique shops plenty of pubs restaurants and shops, there's a Co-op supermarket as you reach the main street and a very good Indian restaurant dead opposite in the square. I've heard people saying its an expensive site but £23 per night ! you get what you pay for and this ones worth every penny !

Great site, wardens were very friendly.
The campsite is mainly geared for caravans and motorhomes, however there was good space for tents. There are two areas for pitching tents, we were in the lower area. This was a flat area which was good. Not many slots for EHU, which we did have, however sufficient for the number of tents there. When we were there, there was a total of 4 tents each night.
The toilet block/showers were pristine and lovely and warm. Could not complain at all about the facilities, including dishwashing areas.
The playpark for kids was brilliant, lots for them to do. A lot of kids had either their bikes or scooters and popped round the site with ease, the roads were of great quality for them.
Would definitely stay here again, just need to decide when.

Excellent site, wardens extremely helpful. All pitches large
And hard standing. Their super pitches are fully serviced and have TV ariel connection. Tarmac roads throughout, short well kept grass areas and flower beds. The elevated pitches have good views over the Grampians. Excellent children's play area, dog walk near hand and a selection of good walks close to the site. Short walk into town which has good shops, coffee shops and pubs. Very good base for touring the Grampian and Central Highlands area.
This must be one of the best site in the UK!

When booking this site I had requested a standard pitch. Unfortunately none were available and without consulting me first, I found myself booked on a 'Super pitch' at a extra £4 / night. Perhaps £27 / night isn't too bad (CC rate)?
Anyway, without wanting it, I had free wi-fi - I don't tend to use my laptop on-site. I also had a dedicated TV socket - I don't have a TV in my van. Nor do I mind walking a few yards to a service point for water instead of using my exclusive one, however the extra large pitch would have been a small consolation - had it not been beside the children's' play area!
Those were the only bad points. This is an immaculately kept site - one of the best that I have stayed on. There were even potted palms in the toilet areas!
The site is an easy walk into town which has a selection of shops and pubs. I recommend the 'Craig Inn' for its friendly atmosphere and its famous Pie & Chips. For grocery shopping you are somewhat limited to the big, but expensive, Co-op. If you don't plan to travel far, save a few pounds by stocking up before you arrive.
Walking is well catered for with several walks from or near the site. The Speyside way is also within easy reach and there are a number of great distilleries a short drive away.
If you don't want to do too much driving, you can travel to Aviemore or Inverness from Grantown square using bus service 34.

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our tour of Scotland. Immaculate landscaped site with very friendly wardens. Shown to our pitch which was a super pitch, with waste, water, wifi and a sky box, which we turned down, why would you want to watch TVs when you have the highlands to explore! Toilet and shower facilities were always clean, warm and with plenty of hot water. Grantown on Spey is a delightful little town, plenty of eating places, can recommend Manha for a curry and the Craig bar for excellent pies and a hilarious landlord. Lots of lovely art and crafty shops. Would definitely recommend this site, also perfectly peaceful at night.

Very nice site, very clean site and bathrooms were always immaculate.
We tried the super pitches and really liked that experience, we have now ordered a mains water adaptor to use with our water barrel, the height of laziness!
We found the site staff very friendly and helpful, obviously fairly quiet on the site given tbe time of year, but we have difficulty understanding the criticism of the staff in other reviews. We sometimes think you reep what you sow.
The dog walk is up a quiet lane which leads to a trail on a disused railway line (Dava Way) where we were able to safely let them off lead. A few people hadn't picked up after their dogs - come on people get with the programme! Many walks we didn't get to try, we did try a walk nearby near the River Spey.
Grantown was a nice little town, a large Co-operative just down the road from the site. We went to an Indian restaurant twice and also a local pub that does very good pie and chips. Plenty we didn't explore this trip.
Will definitely be back.
