Te whole site is immaculate, spacious pitches plenty of grassed area surrounding plots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Toilet blocks and showers were immaculate, entrance and reception block were kept clean and tidy as were all the floral arrangements and bin areas. Wardens always on hand if needed and pleasant and friendly staff.
The only negative point was the wash room blocks close for one and half hours, for cleaning and there is only one baby toddler bathroom and found it got really busy at certain times could definitely do with another.
The surrounding area is fantastic with so many places to visit, we were there a week and felt we had only just scratched the surface so will definitely be going back. Hunstanton 10 miles away is a gorgeous little seaside town, and Sheringham and Cromer about 40 mins away and Great Yarmouth just a little further.
Nearer to site is Sandringham with its lovely parkland and gift shops, not to mention all the woodland walks. There is also a shop about 100yds from the site for all your basic needs and has a good variety of caravan essentials, foodstuff and toys etc. between the Caravan Club and the Camping and Caravan Club site.
Nearest Supermarket Budgens in Dersingham about 3 miles away is excellent. The Feathers pub in Dersingham offers good food and lovely beer garden and play area for the kids as does the Holkes Arms just a couple of miles down the road

Just got back from the Sandingham Caravan Club Site and I have to say it was a very nice site.
Too many Do/Do Not Do signs for my liking and the children's play area was closed with no explanation given.
Good base for visiting the area, Sandingham House very expensive.
One place that I would recommend is Pensthorpe Bird Sactury (as featured on BBC's Springwatch) excellent value for money.
Beach at Old Hunstanton (near the lighthouse) best.
Over all very clean site, wardens were there if you needed, we did not so didn't see them, very busy site especially at 12noon on a Saturday.

As previous reviewers have stated, this is an excellent and very well managed CC site. It is very popular and I was amazed at how full it was in the middle of March. I chose it as I wanted to visit the RSPB Reserve at Titchwell rather than for the Royal connections. There is a surprising level of road noise from the nearby main road between Kings Lynn and Hunstanton.
The only real negative that I have and this applies to both the main clubs' sites is the proliferation of warning and 'do not' notices.
The staff are extremely attentive and everything including the excellent children's play areas was kept very clean and inspected frequently.
The Sandringham Estate itself is great for walking but not for cycling. Having just come direct from the Caravan Club site at Clumber Park where the National Trust have done a brilliant job of creating cycle paths away from traffic across the open countryside and woods to this site I found the notices telling you that you could only cycle on the tarmac roads disappointing as these are not quiet from a traffic point of view and would not really be safe for unsupervised young children.

Visited for New Year this year.
Found the site to be excellent. The pitches are spacious, well spaced hard standings. The Toilet blocks were immaculate. The play areas were also good.
The wardens were friendly and welcoming, and hosted a wine and mince pie gathering on the 31st.
We walked to the estate a couple of times, and found the shop to be good, and the cafe/restaurant excellent.
We didn't even switch the tv on once, or look at our e-mails so cannot comment on tv signal or wi-fi.

We have been Caravan Club members for over 20 years and I can't understand why it has taken us so long to visit this superb site with its extremely spacious pitches, usual high standard facilities and helpful staff. Because the site was so pleasant, we were rather lazy and hardly ventured off anywhere apart from walking through the woods, up to the house and other local places.
We were more than a bit disappointed with the 'Farm Shop' at the Sandringham Visitor centre. Our expectations were based upon the Farm Shop at Chatsworth and the Royal Farm Shop at Windsor, but at Sandringham it consists of a couple of freezers and a single display cabinet in one corner of the gift shop. However, we discovered that the small shop / butchery in West Newton, about a mile from the site, sells meat from the estate and other local produce - highly recommended.

Arrived at site mid afternoon on the Friday for a long weekend. Good welcoming as you would expect from the club wardens. First impressions of the site was it was a bit open for being at Sandringham, we were expecting more trees on the site it self but after settling on a good size pitch and the sun was shining all was well. Most of the pitches are hard standing and a good size. TV signal in the area is not good at all so you will need a 25m lead to plug into the socket or you can buy them on site for £12.50 then you can get the 5 main channels. Do not expect anything else unless you have your own sat. Great site, very well kept and looked after. Toilets and showers are as you expect on a club sit. A1. There seemed to be a nice play area for children. The site shop has a few bits and bobs in it but there is a nice provisions shop about 150 Yds walk from the site. Lots of good walks to enjoy and very close to Sandringham house. Lots of local wild life to watch, deer, birds, squirrels etc etc. All in all a very very good site. I was surprised to see that it was full both nights we were there and vans lining up to get in as we were leaving on the Sunday and that was early March. We will be going back again later in the year.

We had a wonderful week at the site. The pitches were spacious and well placed. The shower blocks were good and clean as always with a club site.
There is a small shop which to get to you need to walk through the woods and is slightly up hill but it does sell most things that are needed.
There is also a fish and chip van that visits the site.
As the name suggests you stay within the grounds of Sandringham and to go to the house it is only a few minutes down the road if you drive. Here you can walk around the grounds and visit the shops although to see the house and its gardens you do have to pay.

Spent 7 nights here at the beginning of September. As you would expect from the CC the facilities were always clean. There is a play area for the kids (both an under 5 area & one for older children) Even though the site was full it never felt overcrowded.
In the CC handbook it does state 'no bbq's' however when speaking to the wardens it only seems to apply to the disposable ones.
There is a small shop through the woods, however we found it to be very expensive. We used both the Fish & Chip shop & Chinese take-away in the village of Dersingham (which is a five minute drive away) both of which were o.K
Overall great site for both couples and families.

Visited early June & had a fantastic week with glorious weather. Lovely, quiet, large site, in a great location. Sandringham itself is a 20min walk through the woods, & is a pleasant day out with fantastic gardens, lakes, museum & house.
Nearby Snettisham & Hunstanton are your nearest seaside towns, Wells-next-to-sea a bit further, & a lovely big beach at Brancaster. Never been to this area before, but will definitely return. Has to be one of our favourite sites, thus far.

Spent 3 nights at the site and it’s very well maintained and clean. We were the only non caravan / motorhome on the whole site though and did feel a little out of place and that some people were looking down on us but we ignored it.
There are two toilets blocks, one with a children’s room which was really handy with our 2 year old. It was large with a bath and overhead shower, childs toilet and sink and a baby change table. All 3 of us had a shower and got ready together which was nice.
The toilet/shower facilities are cleaned every day and people seemed to clear up after themselves afer using the shower or sinks. Both blocks have washing up and laundry facilities. There are a number of service points with bins, drinking water and waste water points around the park.
There is a park for children with a large and small area although the smaller area was closed off while we were there.
A shop can be reached by a short walk through the woods which stocks most of the small things you could need. Further along the same path you can get to Sandringham House, it’s 1.5 miles in total. There are a couple of walks from the site, a great place to take your dog and there were plenty of dogs there although none of them were a problem.
There are small spotlights along the path so you can see easily when it’s dark.
The TV signal is okay for channels 1-4 and you can’t freeview, it’s coming to that area in 2011 it seems.
There weren’t many children on the site, maybe it’s because it’s not the holidays, it was almost all older people, 55+.
We felt very safe there, with barriers for entry and exit that can only be lifted by staff or with a key everyone is given to let themselves through.
The information room is packed with leaflets from the area, take away menu’s and maps, very useful.
Wifi is 15p a minute! Yes, you read that right! Needless to say we didn't use it.
You can also get gas if needed.
The site is very peaceful throughout the whole day which is lovely and even though we parked right under some trees, we had no problems with birds or any poo on the canvas thankfully.
Nice site but felt a little uncomfortable in the camper and with having a child so doubt we will return.
