A fantastic location, a wooded area of great beauty with wonderful walks. The site is a really nice place to be, and benefits from the usual Caravan Club ammenities.
Take a walk to the little shop in the woods and go onto Sandringham House for a great day out, it is as peaceful a destination as I have visited in recent months.
The site has 3 areas, the top part is popular but the pitches seem closer together; we settled on the lower area and found a spacious pitch quite close to water and waste. The TV reception is OK through the booster system but we couldn't get Freeview. Showers and toilets are to the usual CC standard. We found that the pitches weren't level and looking around nearly all the caravans had levelling locks or chocks in use; but that is a minor problem.
This is the 4th time that we have been to a CC site and discovered that the chippy van isn't coming due to illness! we must be jinxed! but we really enjoyed our stay; and will definitely be heading back next year for a longer break or two.

As a first time camper, this site blew away all my expectations of midnight, torch walks through fields of cows etc. There were 3 toilet blocks, all were pristine and cleaner than some toilets I have experienced in Shopping Centres and High Street shops ! not a cobweb in site, constant hot water at no extra fee, laundry facilities which were useful for tumble drying out fleeces when we got caught in rain ! there are small children's play areas which are great for keeping the kids occupied. The pitches are large and easily accommodated our 9 man tent !
There is a lot of forest to wander through if you so wish and its a 2 miles walk to sandringham house. Its less than a 15 minute drive to the coast and there were some nice beaches! there is a serious lack of ATM's in the area but dersingham and heacham both had small grocery stores with cashback facilities.
Norfolk is a veritible hive of activites for old and young alike.
This campsite is great and we would definatley go again ! we even joined the Camping and Caravanning Club :D

Have just returned from a long weekend in Sandringham, the site is set in tranquil surroundings.
Plenty of bike rides with the family were enjoyed. The site is tidy, peaceful and although the pitches were 'regimented' as described by some, we enjoyed the large/spacious pitches and didn't feel crammed in.
The toilets and showers were spotless, staff friendly (we were able to stay on our pitch until 4 the following day.) The only noise in the mornings was the sound of the birds. If you enjoy nature and fauna this site is for you.

Very good sheltered site, we went on the off chance on Good Friday it was busy but beacause of the weather they did have a few pitches available. It was good to be out of the wind.
The pitches are well spaced out, but fairly open some screening of different areas would improve privacy. As it is a big site.
Good facilities everywhere and again friendly, helpful wardens.
Yes definitely would return and recommend joining Caravan Club as their own sites are brilliant.

This was as expected reading the reviews an excellent site. It was very clean with heated shower rooms and free hot water. On site there were a variety of pitches and we were careful to choose the ones away from the trees as TV reception is not too good. We were able to set up Sky so the kids were happy. There is a fish and chip van twice a week, saves on the washing up! The walk through to Sandgringham estate takes no more than 20 mins and is well worth it. They do the best french vanilla ice cream. We spent two days at Sandringham walking the grounds and browsing the shops and cafes. We didn't pay to go to the formal gardens and house but will do that next time as a family ticket wasn't too bad price wise. There were lots of people with dogs and children walking the grounds and everyone was very chatty and friendly.
We spent some time in Hunstanton a nearby pretty old fashioned beach front resort with a lovely clean beach. At this time of the year the dogs could go on the beach and with the sun out we had a great time. We sat overlooking the beach on the hillside munching on homemade bagettes from a local cafe. It really felt like we had stepped back 40 yrs. Not sure what this town would be like in summer months but for an Easter break if you get the weather it really is worth a visit.

Beautiful site in a beautiful setting. Great for walking, cycling, wildlife, sightseeing, everything. Excellent facilities, helpful wardens even the neighbours were great. The couple on one side of us had been caravaning for FIFTY years!
Well worth a lengthy visit, a week should just about do it.

This was our first trip away in the caravan, and although we have used other sites when we had our tent, this was in a different league altogether! The site is immaculate, in a lovely peaceful wooded setting, and we greatly appreciated the spacious hard-standings in this wet summer - even in Sandringham the ground was at saturation point. The facilities were equally impressive and spotlessly clean, with plenty of loos and showers in each block, laundry and washing up/food prep areas. Electric hookups are provided close to the pitches, as is a television booster point (which we didn't use as we'd brought so many books!) I didn't bring my younger children on this trip but can be sure that when we return (as we will), they will love the play area and the woodland walks! Sandringham is a short walk away, and the nearby beaches at Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton are within a short drive, as is the Norfolk Lavender centre, well worth a visit. As a novice caravanner, I was glad, too, that this site is so easily accessible from the A149, with ample manoeuvring space on site.

This is quite a large site with generous hard standing pitches though we did see a small amount of grass pitches. There are two shower blocks which are of the usual caravan club standards. There is a nice play area for the children and woods surround the site for dog walking e.t.c. A five minute walk along a path through the woods takes you to a well stocked shop which sells almost everything this is next to the caravan and camping club site. In the other direction there is a path through the woods to the village where there is a social club which welcomes caravanners and has entertainment on occasions. Sandringham house , gardens and visitors centre are about Two miles from the site along a pleasant walk through the woods. There are beaches a car ride away. For us we liked the look of the caravan and camping site better because there were more grassy areas and it looked less formal.

We are regulars at this site and have never been disappointed with the cleanliness of the facilities and the welcome from the wardens. Within a short drive there are numerous pubs for good meals or to while away the evening. Nearby Hunstanton has all the usual seaside activities including a theatre, fairground , swimming pool and sealife centre. Travel further along the coast for more coastal villages all with their own character and unspoilt beaches. There are lovely walks in the Sandringham estate which even in bad weather are fairly dry - ideal for dog owners!

A good quality campsite which is extremely well run and maintained. Bit bland in appearance but the pitches are generous and you can nestle near fir trees or pick an open site. Very friendly and hard working staff. Around and about is rather disappointing. Historic market towns with charity shops and pound stretchers and very little else. Maybe I just don't like the flatness of it all, but if you want to visit this area then this site will not disappoint. Very quiet, woodland walks, lovely starry skies and lots of free range rabbits.
