Fab site, nestled amongst trees and in the estate. Excellent site, very friendly wardens, also a short walk to a shop, which is on the camping and caravan club site! so if friends are tenting - you could meet up. Definitely go back

Lovely site. Certainly very regimented, but at this late season the hardstandings were welcome. Attractively laid out, excellent facilities, lovely walks directly from the site in the woods of the estate. Pitches generous and well spaced. Only drawback the lack of shops etc nearby - no site shop as such, and although there is a shop in the nearby woods it has very limited opening hours. Site very well situated for interesting days out. Even among CC sites this is one of the best we have visited.

Just back from a wet August week at the Sandringham site. The site holds up well with all the normal CC facilities kept spotlessly and in great condition. We have been to both Sandringham sites and prefer this one. The pitches are somewhat regimented, lots of hard standing pitches, but with poor soil conditions it is better this way as the grass wears very quickly. As usual there is plenty of space between most pitches. We were in the lower eastern end of the site and it was very peaceful (apart from 1 idiot who had his TV at full volume in his awning). Plenty of toilet and shower facilities to keep the full site happy. There is a well stocked and friendly shop a short distance through the woods. The biggest bugbear really is the lack of pub within walking distance. The best we found was the Fox & Hounds in Heacham, a great Brewpub. Probably the closest is the Feathers in Dersingham. Plenty of other things to do in the area too. This must be the ultimate Dog walking site though, fantastic routes through the woods, we never did the same on twice. Also, a rarity these days, dogs can be walked on the beaches at Old Hunstanton, one of the great local beaches. I thoroughly recommend this site.

We visited this site over the half term and we had a fantastic time. The site is beautiful and the facilities are very clean and modern. It had the usual, fantastic toddler bathroom which is essential for our two, shower-hating, youngsters. There were so many children on site and there was always someone small knocking at the caravan door asking to "play". Our 5 year old has never been happier on a site. The play area was excellent, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the pitches generous. There is a shop just a very short walk away through the woods, which has most basics, and is shared with the C&CC site next door. The site is within the Sandringham Estate, however to reach the Royal House, the restaurant, play area and other attractions you really need to get in the car as it was too far to walk with children. All in all a brilliant site - will definitely visit again.

Stayed at Sandringham at the end of July. The site had all the usually high standards you would expect from a CC site. Very regimented pitching, some pitches were rather bare and bland with no shrubs etc. We pitched at the bottom end of the site which seemed to be the quietest part away from the play area. The play area was very well set out and my ten year old spent alot of time there. No shop on site and this to me was a down fall as the walk to the shop that is situated nearer to the C&CC site was a trek just to buy a pint or an ice lolly (I have back problems and find walking upwards a problem). Plenty of walks in the woods for dogs. Plenty to do in the area, Kings Lynn was nice with good shops. Hunstanton was a traditional sea side resort. Wells next to the sea was very nice if a little busy. Sandringham Country park very nice and free parking.

As expected this site is up to the usual cc standards, the facilities very good and clean, and lots of nice woodland walks from the site, the downsides were minor, we found the warden a bit sarcastic and a misery, the road nearby is very noisy, and all forms of charcoal bbq were banned at the time of the visit (even cobbs) and given that there are no pubs within walking distance this is a inconvenience worth noting. There are nicer CC sites but the location is good for the Norfolk coast

Beautiful site - just as would be expected from caravan club facilities. Site on sandringham estate - plenty of walks and of course the royal house as well- we took a tractor ride round the estate which was very good and well worth the £7 it cost us. Lots of pitches - good showers always clean and good play area

Yet another beautiful Caravan Club site. An ideal base for exploring North Norfolk. Visit to Sandringham House worth a visit. Would stay again. Lovely clean facilities. Shop nearby in woods for essentials. Staff very helpful. Electric hookup and all usual facilities to a very high standard. Even the wildlife was friendly.

Sep 03 This site was very clean and tidy and in a lovely setting, so inevitably it was very busy and we could only stay for one night, the site next door was busy as well and this was off season so you should book.
Just a note for dog owners, we knew that dogs would not be allowed in to Sandringham House but thought that they would allow dogs in to the grounds only. However after walking quite a long way to the entrance we found that dogs were not allowed in anywhere - not even corgis!!

2000 Usual high standards from the Caravan Club. A truly wonderfull setting in the Sandringham Estate. A stroll to the House nearby with its visitor centre is a must. Here you can take a tractor ride through the estate and visit the small well stocked garden centre. There are good beaches nearby and plenty of things to do. A brilliant, immaculate site.
