We stayed here for 2 nights, the facilities are spot on!
The park is very well maintained and clean & tidy, showers and toilets are very clean.
The pitches were reasonable condition given its near the end of a busy summer season (grass was faded ever so slightly but otherwise fine. We stayed in pitch 34 next to the BBQ hut and the picth was massive which allowed us plenty of space.
We were greeted with a friendly welcome by Jim at reception who gave us plenty of info on local facilities (there is a tesco store within walking distance of the site if you have forgotten anything and it has a petrol station. A nice 10 minute meander takes you down to the beach which was spotless and deserted.
We had a brilliant stay and like the last reviewer we experienced the most spectacular thunderstorms on saturday night and torrential rain (we must have stayed the same weekend)
All in I would definitely recommend this site and will definitely be back

Arrived Friday evening for a short 2 night stay. Hard standing tourer with hookup. Cracking views over the Forth and North Berwick. Good clean facilities and easy parking of caravan. An observation is that the grass standing looked to be on quite a slope so would recommend levellers.
The site did seem to be busy but plenty of room between plots and all was calm.
Cracking thunder/lightening storm on the Saturday night !
Will return.

Used this site as a stop over on way home. It is an excellent site. We had hardstanding, EHU, water and drainage. Disposal facilities were convenient too. The site has fabulous views across the bay to North Berwick, to Bass Rock and all the sea in between. The showering facilities etc were very good - amongst the best of the whole trip - so our overall impression was very favourable. North Berwick itself is well worth a visit

In a great spot overlooking the sea and close to North Berwick.
Great spots to have a BBQ on the beach or cliff tops just a few minutes walk from the site.
Quite pricey, but facilities are good.
North Berwick is a lovely town - definitely worth spending some time there.
A walk up Berwick Law offers good views.

Found this site by visiting the Tourist Information office in Berwick on Tweed. What a find! Our pitch was overlooking the Firth of Forth and Bass Rock but was slightly sloping, so needed wedges. The weather was glorious and the site was very quiet. No noticeable noise from the nearby road. We walked to the town across the golf course and down the headland to the beach as advised by the person in reception. We couldn't find a taxi rank in the town so asked at the local newsagents. The owner very kindly phoned a local company and five minutes later a mini bus came to take us back to site. £5. A must for wildlife spotters. We saw pairs of Eider Ducks but unfortunately no porpoise that day. Good pot wash facilities, toilets and showers which were all in with the price of £27 which included two adults and a dog. Fantastic dog walking area and free dog bags to clean up. Although we did not have children with us, we noted that there was plenty of space for family play and a playground too. Probably the best site we have ever visited.

We visited Tantallon for the second time this summer (4 years since our last visit) - we had previously taken the caravan but this time were camping on an electric pitch.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the pitch nice and level even if the hard ground did bend quite a few of our pegs. I did feel that the pitches were a little close together.
The play park is excellent and kept our older 2 entertained, the toilets and showers good and clean, even though one of the showers was broken in our nearest toilet block.
Not much else I can say about the site - it is very big and about half an hour from the excellent North Berwick which has super beaches, great bars and restaurants and a real holiday atmosphere.
I think the camp fees are very expensive - we paid £36 per night for our electric pitch which is significantly higher than other sites. Unfortunately, being the only camp site in north berwick which takes tents, they can get away with it but it still leaves rather a bad taste in the mouth.

Very nice open site about a mile from North Berwick. Even at a fairly fast pace it takes a good thirty minutes to walk to town via the golf course and beach.
It is a pity that their are no club/bar facilities on site as in order to eat out you need to drive into town or if having a drink with your meal walk or taxi both ways.
Good play areas for kids
The site fees are expensive and for this price Internet should be free and available across the whole site and not just a restricted area
Staff are friendly and helpful.

Our initial welcome was lovely, Laura couldn't have been more helpful in guiding me around the park map, giving me leaflets and discount vouchers we might use on our stay and explaining where everything was.
The park is very large but well laid out so that everything is in separate sections. We were in the Bass Tourers section on a grass with electric pitch. You should note that there is a bit of a slope on this field and this made for a bit of fiddling with the caravan when we first arrived. The pitches are quite hard to see as they are marked by a slab in the glass (flush with the grass) We found it hard to know exactly how to park. Did we park with the number in the middle? To the side? Anyway just a small note.
This was not helped by a motorhome turning up on our last night and parking so close that I felt they were in our caravan with us. They were equally confused about where they were to be in relation to their number and we felt it would have been much better if the pitches were more clearly defined.
The views are spectacular, truly very captivating. You have Bass Rock, the view over the beech to North Berwick and the view across the sea. The beech is a 10 minute walk away through the golf course and is easy enough to get to.
There is a short dog walk, which is decent enough to take your dog for a wee run. But not a 'walk'. We have to say we were really disappointed with the number of dog owners who completely ignored the 'all dogs must be on a lead' rule. I don't think we saw a single dog on a lead the whole time we were there. As dog owners we found this a bit annoying. Not all dogs like other dogs running over to them, especially if they are on a lead.
The park mentions security, but the whole time we were there we did not see anyone checking the site, enforcing any of the rules or guiding people on pitches.
The facilitates were good, clean and well maintained. We mainly used the small toilet block and the family shower unit which were absolutely fine and very clean.
We had our 2 year old with us and there wasn't an awful lot to keep him entertained. The park was lovely but more geared to older children and he struggled with the walk to the beech.
Overall we think this is a nice site, just maybe not our kind of site.

The photos don't do it justice, the views are amazing! North Berwick is a super little town, we only stumbled accross it when collecting our excellent campervan from a local convertor.
You can walk into town from here via the golf course so don't have to walk along any busy roads. There is a large Tesco less than a mile away if you run out of stuff.
The toilets in the shower cubicles are a bit novel, great idea not seen anywhere else. The pot washing facility could do with a wind break, was a little bracing being semi-out doors, probably the best view from any sink anywhere though.
A little on the pricey side but having said that, the facilities are great and check out the local hotels and B&Bs for steep tarifs.

Spent a night at this site as a base for exploring the coast.
Location
Situated within walking distance of north berwick, this is a large and commercial site. Excellent views of the sea.
Facilities
Excellent - well maintained and plentiful. Also, there's a games room.
Price - quite expensive. £25 for two people on a grass pitch without electricity.
Overall, a good site; handy for North Berwick and Dunbar.
