July 2004 We booked this site as a last resort, and were very pleased with the location and facilities. It is only small, but very clean and tidy. The shop is small and often un-manned, but this is not a problem because there is always someone around to open up, if you need anything. There is a Burger van that parks up near the reception, on Saturday night and Sunday Mornings. Toilets and showers are clean. Make sure if you need to use a hairdryer/electric to take 20p peice to put in the meters. Once you are plugged in, you get unlimited use. Only annoying thing about the non-electric part (where we were), was that there is a road leading to a Yorkshire Water treatment site and tankers go past the site at around 7.30 each morning!! The small playground is good, although our kids (8, 11 + 13) only went once because they were bombarded with rudeties from some other kids that were playing there. This was hopefully a one off, and wont put us off staying there again. The club house is only small, and gets rather stuffy. We only did 2 nights, and it was a great site to stay on. Very near to Morrisons and Madonalds too. Would definately recommend it. A skip would be handy in the 'non-electrics field too.

Easter 2004 We have been to Arosa this Easter. and have to agree with the last reveiw. The showers were hot, at any time of day, the club was adequate, serving good food and beer. The site was full and we had plenty of room for caravan, awning and car. We, and the freinds who also went with us would certainly use this site again.

July 2003 Having found the camp site through this website I requested more information which was sent extremely quickly. Being impressed with this i proceeded to book for myself and my friends.
Between booking and going there was a review summited which left me worrying about the state of the site. However when we arrived everything was fine.
There is a water treatment plant near by but short of seeing the tops of some towers threw the trees nothing too unsightly.
The site has a lot of regular visiters and can unsterstand the point made about everybody looking at you when you walk in the club house. however after a couple of nights people must have recognised us as this didnt happen anymore.
I was most impressed with showers as they were always hot and i did have them at various different times of the day.
The site is within a £6 taxi fare of the city centre so its location is ideal if you dont want the constant ammusment atmoshere but would like to be close enough for the pubs and clubs!!!
I would and hopefully will use this campsite again next year.
