Excellent quiet and friendly site. Loads of space for campers and caravanners with very clean (done twice a day) toilets/shower facilities. Also there's a washing machine, drying machine and roofed washing-up area.
In the middle of the site is a childrens play area with swings and a slide, this is a great idea and was a regular meeting area for all of the kids on the site.
The people that own the site are very friendly and there is an on-site shop for such things as milk, eggs and bread. You can get your cool-bag blocks chilled too for 20p a shot :-)
There's a `superstore' (Tesco) a couple of miles away (just to remind you that you're not too far from civilisation) and it's not far from Bembridge, Seaview and some cracking beaches. Definitely will be going back to this highly recommended site.
What a great holiday & at a price that I considered to be very cheap (£3.50 per adult + 0.50p per child per night camping... Bargain!) :-)

We loved this quiet and friendly site. There is plenty of space for campers and caravanners in the 12 1/2 acre field. The facilities were clean and tidy, and included a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board which were useful for our young family. Our little girl also had hours of fun playing in the children's play area in the middle of the field.
The owners are really friendly, and it was great being able to get milk and eggs from the farm each day. We found the set up quite refreshing, after driving around for a while looking at sites which were a little too busy for our taste. The field has great views of the surrounding hills, and the pretty little town of St Helens is nearby,with a couple of shops and a village green with a play area.
The site is on a bus route, and is within easy driving distance of a large Tesco and many places of interest. We would recommend it, and will certainly be returning one day.
