 Site is just a rough field beside the canal, with the field further away from the canal being used as a rally field. Dog's are supposed to be on leads on the site, but not everyone kept to this and one dog in our party was attacked by an uncontrolled dog whilst sitting outside his van (on a lead).
Ladies has 1 toilet/1 shower, disabled 1 toilet/1 shower, but gents apparently only have loos, no shower. Key code for access to the facilities. When the facilities block is closed for cleaning you can use the loos in the visitor's centre.
Visitor's centre has a small cafe and you can book boat trips.
Family type restaurant opposite the entrance to the centre did reasonable food.

Nice quiet site and very cheap. Small play area for children and tea room. You can take a trip along the canal on a barge at certain times. Nice pub just across the road serving nice meals. You can sit in the beer garden and watch the ducks swimming alongside.
