 We were the very first guests to arrive at Westwood. It was due to open the day after we arrived, however, Brian welcomed us together with his wife, Louie and their children and instantly we knew we would enjoy our stay!
The park is level, with space looking over a farm with horses. The toilet block was more than sufficient, having approx 6 showers and toilets in each and ample sinks, and a separate disabled toilet too. Obviously we were spoilt because it was immaculate, but even when it got busier over Easter, it still remained clean, (due to Louie's hard work bless her!).
In the busy season, the pitches may get a little cramped but they are set out well and you don't feel caged in because of the field at the back of your caravan. The A12 close by for all routes, but you can't hear it.
Recommend the Maybush, the Fox Inn and the Shannon for your meals out, all within minutes drive. All in all, because of the fab weather we had, it was a great site, Brian is putting a designated field for the children to play football up one end, so adults can relax and the kids can enjoy.
There was no pressure put on us when to leave and I therefore recommend this park whole heartedly and wish Brian and Louie every success with the new business.
