Stayed for the bank holiday. The weather was very hot so that made it better ! The toilets and shower blocks are not very clean at all never no toilet roll so take your own or use the pub toilets. They booked so many in for the bank holiday the tents were really close together not very good for health and safety. No lighting on the park or nowhere for the children to see as it starts to get dark ! The lady who was in charge was no help what so ever and got chatting to other people and they said the same. The pub came alive from about 9pm The food is not the best and the bins were over loaded by far and was not emptied all weekend.
Good for people who like fishing .

Stayed here for a night to try out our tent as it is local to us. Great location, especially if you are into steam trains (as the Severn Valley usually runs past, although not at present - summer 2007 - due to flood damage). Good for fishing also. The pub is ok, nothing special and the facilities were a bit dirty. There is also a small childrens play area. There was a fair bit of noise from other campers who drove round the site at night with stereos blaring, the owners didn't seem to worried. Maybe we stayed at the wrong time but I wouldn't go back, which is a shame, as the location is perfect.

This was the 1st campsite I ever tried! Not too bad but music from the pub went well over midnight! Breakfast was night and well worth the wait, nice walks and 2 more pubs across the severn were there is a hand ferry that cost 20p each way. Kids loves it. Only downside was the toilet block, that was dirty, but it did not put me off camping!

The campsite has a lot of space for tents and is very flat although the lack of rain made the ground rock hard to bang in the tent pegs. The childrens play area had a lot of different things to play on. The Ladies toilet block had three showers, three basins, three toilets and one washing up sink. No toilet roll provided but hot water is free. No female sanitary arrangements provided and no plugs in the basins or sink. I understand the men's toilets were similarly arranged. We were there the first Bank holiday weekend in May and the weather was good which bought out the lower ends of humanity to the site. Our first night (Thursday) was very pleasant as they hadn't arrived and being right next to the River Severn all the wildlife could be heard ducks, pheasants, owls etc. The next night and following day were completely different with smoking in the toilets, load music from each tent competing with the other to drown out the other music, weeing out the back, shouting and children running around at 12.30am in the morning. There seemed to be a lack of control by the owner which allowed this inconsiderate behaviour to continue.
