We spent 5 nights on the site over the Easter period.

Relatively flat field with decent size pitches. Plenty of water taps, every 6 pitches roughly but the grey water disposal let this site down, only 2 places which can be quite a walk from some areas. Chemical disposal was only at one place and the furthest from us !

2 shower blocks main one has just been refurbished and had large shower cubicles - big enough for me and 2 children, clean and plenty of hot water, although I spoke to a couple of people who said that at the busier times the water was cool but we did not experience that.

All brand new bar and entertainment complex. Plenty happening during the day and night, kids and adults alike well catered for. We heard no noise from this even though entertainment was on until midnight.

The indoor pool is down the road at the sister site (5 minutes walk) pool OK but changing rooms disgusting, hair all over the floor, mould on the walls, really need to be refurbished.

Kids playground was a large field with a couple of slides and climbing frames etc, high fences to keep them in ! but not much for the older children.

There is a new multi purpose court - basketball, football etc. Seemed busy with teenagers all the time, although perhaps could benefit from floodlighting.

No shop on site but small shop within couple of miles or if you take the car there is a Tesco Extra about 4 miles away on a large retail park.

We would go back but ask for a pitch closer to the amenities.

We stayed at this site over the Easter Weekend, I would recommend this site to any one staying in the area There is entertainment for all the family, the staff are pleasant and helpful. We have stayed before on this site before Park Resorts took it over, they have modernised the bar area and made it more family friendly. We will be using the site again when we stay in the area in the future. There is also a sister site farther down the road that you can visit and use the indoor swimming pool if you wish.

We stayed on this site (Yare) for two weeks in August.
We requested "super pitches" which were advertised, but when we arrived in a rainstorm and shown to the pitch, it was just two slabs of paving stone for wheels to go on. We did have our own water tap / grey waste drain.

The club house was OK usual entertainment, though drinks were on the pricey side.  Kids enjoyed the pool area, but the whole place looked a bit dated.

The worst were the toilets. Two toilet blocks and both were disgusting. After various complaints to reception, the receptionist came and had a look and agreed they were. No loo roll, no soap in dispensers, no hot water for washing hands, water in shows were either to hot / cold. We ended up using caravan facilities

Nice little pub off the beaten track (Burgh Castle marina) about 10 min walk away next to the river. Nice to watch the boats go by on the broads.

Would not return to this site though. In need of a major overhaul.

We would not normally have stayed on a park like this, but took my brother-in-law away for a week. He is physically active but has learning difficulties. We stayed on the Bure site. The facilities were tired from the season's use but they were  OK - I've seen worse on smaller sites. The indoor swimming pool was clean and, in the morning, not too busy. Our pitch was ideally located by a tarmac road in a quiet location (except for one tent nearby). The entertainment team worked very hard and my brother-in-law loved them. I feel that a larger play area for ball games was needed, but since the beautiful beach and excellent facilities at Gorleston were only a short drive away, it was not a problem. The cost averaged out at £14 per night for the 3 of us including EHU, which seemed excellent value. The staff were kind and helpful to us and I would probably go again, distance being the governing factor. Just an extra thought, we did seem particularly fortunate in the location of our pitch. Other tents were on a muddy road and seemed rather crowded. Perhaps if we had been among them this review would be much more critical.

We spent five days on site. On pulling into the site, we had had torrential rain and with no hard roads on the site, it was horrendous and we got stuck in the mud. We give the site credit, they were laying sand trying to soak up the water. They also let us unhitch on the site we got stuck on. A very helpful gesture.
We never used the club house, as we were with 3 other sets of campers and made our own entertainment. We did use the outdoor swimming pool, in need of attention around the tiles, but the 8 children had a good time.
The toilet and shower facilities were disgusting, we used our own facilities in the tourer. We knew from the wardens they had a problem with people smearing feaouces over walls and floors. Cleaners were deployed at every opportunity, but it did not stop the problem. The weather made matters worse by people taking in mud and grass with them, but this let the site down terribly.
All staff were extremely friendly and did their best to rectify the problems.
Fantastic location, with every location close to hand.
A good site, but in need of restoration and some sort of full time toilet and shower attendants.

Stayed here (on yare village) 1-3rd july. Very good value, £15 total for 4 adults and 1 child, 1 infant. Booked 2 weeks in advance.

Was very busy over weekend but noticed that it wasn't as busy from the sunday night until the monday when we left. Nice park on yare village for the kids, with outdoor pool, shop, bar and entertainment.

Bure village is quieter but they have a nice gym, nice indoor pool and not so crowded neither. If you need ice you have to order it in the shop a day before and we didnt know this and ended up drinking warm beers (not nice) but the bar staff will (if u ask nicely) give you a bag of ice every now and then hehe.)

Chip shop pretty expensive, although a large portion of chips will do about 3 people. very nice chinese take away down butt lane in between both villages. Very tasty. The bar does a nice breakfast only £1.99 bargain! just watch out for the drink prices!

You have to use the code given to you when using the toilets during the night, dont forget it as I made that mistake and was busting for the toilet and couldnt get in until someone kind enough came along and let me in. Showers are VERY hot, way too hot for the kids so be careful.

Very nice place to stay apart from the toilets can get very dirty (i suppose it will do with showers in the same room as the toilets , wet floors , grass, dirt etc going in and out)

Would come again definitely.

We stayed over the bank holiday and half term week at the Yare Village site. The pitch was flat and large and despite the very wet weather it never turned to mud.

There are 2 toilet/shower blocks at Yare Village, both of which have very bad showers, they are those stupid push button things and they allow 10 second squirts. Absolutely rubbish for ladies (and gents) with long hair. The water was either scalding hot or cold, no happy medium. The temperature is not controllable at all.

The toilets have combination type door locks that are located quite high, my daughter was too short to reach the lock.

For a good shower go over the road to Bure Village and use the showers in the swimming pool. They also have a solarium, £2.50 for 5 minutes

There is a bus stop just outside the site, but although it is only 5 miles by car, the bus takes 40 minutes as literally goes round the houses.

Most of the staff are pleasant and seem to take critisism of the site extremely well, sending a maintenance man to repair a loose cistern handle almost immediately
