Stayed for a weekend in May.
Arrived to a friendly greeting and a choice of pitches.
The site is well presented with rabbits and great woodland walks.
The toilets and showers are basic but very clean. Nice quiet site with good local pub
If you like real ales visit the Telegraph Inn in Llangadog. They have an on site brewery with some cracking ale and a friendly welcome.

The site is very well kept, toilet block very clean and warm. The whole camp site is very well looked after. Children’s play area in the walled garden immaculate, with the added bonus of the wild rabbits and squirrels just wandering about and the sound of the stream and birds singing. This is a site we will hopefully visit for many years to come. The small shop sells the basic things you might have forgotten and the owners are never too busy to stop and chat to you. I visited with a first time camper who although felt the chill through the night, she cant wait to go back, with a better quality sleeping bag lol.

Stayed over Whitsun weekend with our children (7 and 9) and we all had a superb time. The site is in a beautiful location on the edge of a bluebell wood with a shallow and safe (as far as poss!). River running along the edge which provided the main entertainment for most of the children on site. Lots of walks from the site, excellent cycling trails in the nearby Brechfa Forest and the cinema in Brecon a 30 minute drive away for rainy days. The facilities are basic but clean and the site quiet at night. No negatives to give - definitely a site I'd go back to.

We have been to this wonderful site four times now and it never ceases to impress us. The situation is just glorious. In the grounds of an old manor house, the remains of which can be seen on a short walk through the woods. There is an old roman road running alongside the site and a lovely river where I have seen kingfishers and various other birds.! The site is level and there always seems to be space. The toilets are always clean and showers never short of hot water. There is a walled garden with a play area for children and the only downside, if there is one, is that traffic noise can be heard from the main road, but not always. The couple who run this site are lovely and the shop stocks most items you will need. There is a real atmosphere of peace here even when it is busy. Llandovery just up the road has a mainline rail station and is a lovely little town to explore. There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. We will keep returning here!

This is the second time we have visited this lovely site, once last year with a tent and this year with a caravan. On both occasions we have been very pleased with the exceptional standard of the facilities on offer. This is a medium site that is very well laid out and lovingly looked after. Even when near full it still felt very spacious and had a very relaxed atmosphere. The toilet/shower block was very clean with plenty of hot water, always well stocked with toilet roll and sponges on the wash basins (each with mirror and shelf) to leave them as you would like to find them. The washing up area is undercover and had bins and recycling crates close by. There is a play area for the children within a walled garden, a climbing frame, slide and swings kept my daughter happy, the garden also contained a tennis net which all are well maintained. Bordering the garden is a well stocked shop, which contains a wealth of local information leaflets. A river runs through the site, on both occasions the flow has been gentle (even after a period of heavy rain) the majority of it is quite shallow and great for paddling but there are some deep parts. This site is just off the main Llandilo to Llandovery road and passing traffic can be heard. Don't let this put you off, this is a tranquil site that offers an excellent base for a wide area with good transport links to mid, west & south Wales by car, railway and bus.

A really lovely site with welcoming owners and laid back atmosphere. Part of the site consists of a walled off play area with limited pitches - we were lucky to get a pitch within the wall boundary which was ideal for my 2 year old daughter (pitches O and Q are worth requesting id you've got young children). This was our first ever camping trip and I was a little anxious but the pitch was large and the pace unhurried. A terrific site (even if located in the larger field with the stream running alongside) we'd rate 9/10.

My inlaws take the kids here every year for a week in the Summer in our Caravan. The site is quiet and very rural. Toilet block is spotless as is the rest of the site, with a site shop selling most of the basics. If you are that desperate there is a van selling bacon rolls within 2 mins walking from the site entrance.
Wildlife in the area is stunning and a stream runs through the site. Small play area for the kids including nets for badminton or tennis. They go back year after year, as do thier friends about 7 or 8 times a year.
