Lovely site, we were in the field and could pitch where we liked, plenty of room for our big tent and no extra charges. Facilities basic but cleaned every day, couldn't fault them. No playground but the camping field was more than enough for my 3 to run around and amuse themselves. Would definitely come again, a real bargain, lovely place to watch the sun set.

This was a nice pleasant site. The facilities are basic but clean; the showers cost 20p (paying for showers is one of my least favourite things) but I switched mine off before the hot water went - you get quite a long time for your ablutions. Gents and ladies are in separate blocks. There are lovely views in every direction and when we were there (May) very quiet and very little road noise despite the main road being reasonably close by. A major plus was the tarmac drive around the perimeter of the site so no problems with mud. There were some very cute animals to coo over - baby lambs and such - in an enclosed area near the entrance. I would stay here again.

A very friendly little campsite, with nice clean
Facilities, shower and toilet block were cleaned daily, there are a few animals for the kids to look at no play area, but lots of open sapce for the kids to run around and play in.
Mary the owner was incredibly helpful and there was a huge array of leaflet and information of local places of interest.
Situated a few miles from both Abergavenny and Crickhowell Her was plenty to see, an enjoyable weekend was had by all.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay here over the bank holiday and had a good time.
The site is quite well laid out.
We were unfortunate to not be able to fit into the tent field but managed to get a really good pitch in with the caravans and a few other tents.
It did get quite muddy but then it's Wales and it had been raining!
Pitches are good sizes. Toilets and showers are basic but cleaned regularly. I didn't have to queue for a shower but some did.
Kids had a great time riding round the path on their bikes and scooters.
Abergavenny just down the road and a nice pub in either direction when you come out of the campsite.
Owners very polite and helpful.
Would recommend!

Nice clean site, plenty of room for our large outwell idaho xl tent in the camping field. Lots of space for children to play in the middle of the field. Very quiet although did seem to be on a helicopter flight path at times! Toilets clean but only 2 showers and 2 sinks.
Abergavenny nice town, petrol station up road stocks milk/bread etc.

Stayed this glorious Easter the weather was very good and so was the campsite, though full it did not have the feeling of being overcrowded. A basic site very friendly staff. The one gripe was lack of hot water for washing self and dishes. And having only two showers of which one went out of order and the other was too hard to regulate. All in all we would recommend the site and would return in the future

Stayed Pyscodlyn in August under canvas in the camping field no electric just the two of us. Returned mid October with the rug rats and our new motorhome went into the caravan field with hookup £14/night there is no form of entertainment on the site only two small blocks that enclose all the facilities (male / female) clean plenty of hot water (too hot) shower 20p. Site is handy for Abergavenny Crickowell and in our case Big Pit @ Bleanavon (free minning musuem) It seems that this site is a well kept secret.

We stayed just before the children's summer holidays and the site was almost empty. We had a choice of where we could set up. The site was spotless as were the toilet and shower blocks. I can see that in high season they might not be quite big enough though. While we were there they were perfect. Great for dogs with world famous walking close at hand. Not a great deal to do on site so you have to make your own fun [ isn't that what camping / caravaning is all about] but if peace and tranquillity in stunning surroundings is what you need this is the place for you Abergavenny is well worth a visit as are other neighbouring towns. Some really nice pubs close at hand. we would recommend this site One word of warning we used an internet routefinder and it was totally wrong, follow the site instructions.

Good overall camp site although nothing at all there for entertainment so possibly not so good if you have kids. Good lighting on camp site. Quiet peaceful area. Not enough showers though so expect to queue in the mornings
