A great little site and was really surprised. A great welcome by the manager who showed us to our pitch. The facilities were clean, perhaps basic like others have said, but served there purpose. There is a club on site which you get a pass for, where you can get a good cheap pint and an artiste and bingo! The location is in the ideal spot to visit the top spots Blackpool has to offer. Would recommend the site to anyone but booking is a must. Cant wait to return.

Ideally placed site minutes walk from the South Pier/Pleasure Beach. Facilities were I suppose basic by some standards these days but nevertheless clean and as echoed in previous reviews excellent hot water in the showers. Friendly welcome from the warden on arrival who showed us round and to our pitch. Main reason for our visit was to attend a football match and the site is ideally placed for a visit to the ground which is an easy 20 minute walk away. There is some road noise but this did not trouble us unduly. One word of warning the site is located down a narrow residential street with cars parked either side so take care if you meet up with a van coming the other way. We would definitely visit this site again if visiting Blackpool.

First time out with the caravan and very happy we picked to stay the weekend here. We stayed from Friday until Sunday to catch the discounted wrist bands at the pleasure beach. Had a very hot shower each morning and was surprised that the toilets/showers were always warm. A little traffic noise but that is the price you have to pay for it being so close to the front, (hubby is a light sleeper and he managed a good nights sleep!). We were that happy we have booked again for a weekend in March!

Excellent site especially as it is a short walk to the main seafront area.. Clean and well maintained and friendly wardens it has become popular and is already filling up for next year..!! A little traffice noise but that was expected due to its position near the town did'nt disturb us unduly..Would definitely return to this site..Try the cafe inside the Golden Mile, excellent roast beef dinner for £3.99....£2.99 for seniors and Fleetwood Market is a must for the ladies..

A small quiet site within walking distance of south prom, clean showers and toilets, a club on site which we didn't go in but looked quite popular, nothing for children ,but ideal if you just want a base.no shop or anything but all you need is close by. Would visit again only for the location.

Visited on the opening weekend of the illuminations. We were very pleased with this site, the closeness to blackpool pleasure beach cannot be beaten. The site has a club house (free entrance to campers) cheap beer prices!! The showers and toilets were clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. All of the pitches appeared to be level, with hard standing, would definitely return !!

Great Location - 2 minute walk to Golden Mile. Small site, but like an oasis in a busy town. Clean toilets and showers accessed with a key only. Just two things: The campsite office closes at 4pm, the site has a security barrier and so had to wait until 7pm for club doorman to open it and allocate our pitch. The pitches by the road can get noisy people were moving when a quiter pitch became available.
Site owner and staff were nice friendly. Will definitely return.

Nice enough basic campsite - very central to Blackpool centre only minutes from the Pleasure Beach. Well maintained and has an onsite pub/club selling reasonably priced drinks. I understand most weekends the club offers entertainment. Try to get a pitch near to the front of the site as we pitched at the back and there is some traffic noise. It is probably the closest campsite for the centre of Blackpool and we had no complaints - would definitely return if we were ever that way again.

We stayed for 2 nights, the owner was friendly and although we didnt go in he gave us a pass for the social club and it looked very popular (we had our baby with us so not wanting to be in the smoke) This campsite is so close to the sea front only a couple of roads away and we were really pleased to be able to walk pushing the pram this short distance rather than having to get on public transport. The toilet/shower block was really clean and the showers were free and very nice! unfortunately the laundry room was only opened from 9.15 - 4pm there was no other washing pots area but this only a small gripe because our water pump failed in the van where we usually washed pots. Otherwise we were really pleased with the site it was expensive but not as expensive as some of the grubby looking B&B's nearby!

Small campsite 2 minutes walk from Blackpool Pleasure beach and the trams to take you up to the bright lights of Blackpool central. It's got 27 concrete pitches which are a little on the small side, but nicely set out and well miantained. The toilets and showers are showing their age, but none the less well cleaned and tidy. There is a social club on site and it too is very popular, cheap beer is always going to be a winner. To be honest, the only thing that the site has got going for it, is location, you cannot camp any nearer Blackpool Tower. The price reflects this, we paid £18 for a Saturday night stay in July. If you like Fish and Chips try the Bond St. chippy, delicious.
