We have just returned home from Homing Leisure Park. We just wanted somewhere local to go for a weekend. WOW what a lovely site. The toilet facilities were excellent as was all the facilities on site. The staff were excellent, they were the friendliest Ive ever come across in my many years of camping. We went with two other units and I'm sure they will be leaving good reviews as I know they were all impressed with this site. We will definitely be using this site again.

We have just returned from Homing Park and had a great time. When we first arrived we were put on a very muddy pitch but we asked to move and ended up on a lovely dry grassy pitch. Most of the pitches seemed to be dry, even though there had been some heavy rain. The pitch was very spacious and had electric hook up along with tv aerial hook up and your own tap and a drain for your water waste. There are 43 pitches in one field set away from the larger residential mobile home area. The touring area is nicely set out with an excellent toilet and shower block at the top end. We didn't use the club house or the pool but both looked fine. Our kids loved the kids play areas, one for under 6's and one for over 6's. The views from these across the countryside were lovely. Everybody seemed very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was that we ran out of gas in the middle of cooking dinner on our last night and the site only stocked the huge gas bottles. This was really our own silly fault and there was a nice fish and chip shop just down the road so it wasn't too much of a problem. Just make sure you take enough gas. We will definitely return.

Just arrived home from a long weekend at Homing Leisure Park. Although weather was rather disappointing, we really enjoyed our stay. The pitch was great, with electrical hook up, water, light, etc free of charge. The outdoor pool was nice. Although the pool side club house did need some up-dating. The food was very good though. The toilets were excellent and cleaned twice a day. However, the push button toilets seemed to get blocked very quickly, as they were very difficult to push (not great it parents allow children to visit on their own). I did mention this to the site office that the toilets were blocked and they were cleaned within half an hour. The family shower room was very nice (although popular). The main block only had two showers, but was adequate for the size of the camp site. Down side has to be the road noise from the motorway, but got used to it and it didn't ruin our stay. Think it will be better when the trees grow up and create more of a barrier. Will definitely be returning, as this was a very friendly; well run site.

Wow! What a site. 5 stars! The location was great close to Sesalter and Whitstable with the facilities they offer. Supermarkets, shops, pubs and the beach. The site itself is managed by knowledgeable, polite staff. The facilities where very good with water and electrical hook up, amazing shower block, a swimming pool and a well stocked club house for evening refreshment. I can't recommend this site highly enough and will be returning later in the year.

I THINK THIS SITE IS FAB! We had a really lovely stay here. The sun was out (which is always good when your camping), we had our breakfast and in the faint distance you could hear the children playing over the other side of the site. They have designated places for football & tennis (all secure for the child's safety). The toilets, well, they were SO nice, they had hanging baskets outside all the way around, they are luxury wooden huts. It had 2 wash rooms, 2 showers (as well as a family room) that had a lovely size bench in to put clothes kids etc. 4 toilets, 3 basins, hair dryer (free or charge). I saw not one creepy crawly in there. The normal shower is so big and nice I had my 7yr old and 2yr old in there with me and had room to hang our clothes. To be honest I found it more roomy than the family shower. They have an open air swimming pool which we didn't use, instead we walked about 20 minutes down the road to the beach where there was a really cheap seaside shop that sold it all & chip shop. The club house was very friendly and comfortable to be in. We will definitely go back! I GIVE IT 5 STARS.

What a lovely site Homing Leisure Park is. Their website does not do it justice. Ideal for a family to enjoy the tennis court, the open air swimming pool by the bar, the children's playground and football pitch. So what the club could do with a makeover, as long as you can buy a pint who cares, its clean, the staff are very friendly, you can also have Sunday lunch for £4.95. The good size pitch, had electric hookup, water, T.V. point and waste water disposal. 8 mins in the car to Whitstable, £4.50 cab. Yes this was my first visit. I will defiantly go again. I will also add ALL the staff were friendly and willing to help.

My husband and I arrived a day later than planned to an extremely friendly and welcoming reception. Checking in was simple and efficient and our pitch was flat, grassy and of a very good size - each pitch had its own electrical hook-up and water tap which proved very useful. Unfortunately we had plenty of rain for our stay, and although the ground became a bit spongy it definitely held out. The shower blocks are immaculate - one of the best I've seen and plenty of hot water. There is a lovely separate family shower room with loo and basin for parents and kids whom want to be self-contained. Tennis courts and a tidy kids play area are available too. We used the clubhouse a couple of times both for a Sunday lunch (£4.50 - good value) and for an evening drink. The decor may be tired and dated but the service and atmosphere were both great and it wasn't over-priced. This is a great place to stay especially for families - I recommend it highly!

We went to this site for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised. The shower block was virtually new (if not a little poorly designed) The shower block was very well cleaned. The pitches were of a good size. The pool, shop and club were good also. It is a good centre point for visiting the south east of england.

April 2005 The people are very friendly, the toilet block is immaculate as it is newly built but the clubhouse could do with a visit from changing rooms as it is slightly outdated and shabby to say the least. The childrens playarea is good but away from the touring area in with the statics. We didnt experience too many problems weatherwise but were not on our original booked pitch as they had had some flooding problems on other pitches the week before.
