What can I say, this was the most brilliant site we have visited so far. The owners were great, the staff were friendly and helpful. They were all full of ideas of places to visit and were very willing to give us directions (henry was our personal map for the week!) The site was clean, well layed out and a great place to be for families. The facilities were A1 condition. The toilets, washing up area and laundry were all kept in excellent condition. If there were any problems they were dealt with promptly. We thought the prices were very reasonable especially seeing you got your own water, aerial, waste outlet etc.
The shop was well stocked, if they didn't have something they were willing to get it for you. They had fresh rolls delivered daily (very nice).
Do not use this site! WE WANT IT ALL TO OURSELVES!
If you are going to north devon this is the place to visit.

There isnt much more to say that hasnt already been said.
Very nice site, intend to return next year with relatives.
Owners excellent, very flexible.
Guy in the shop made us laugh, he couldnt read the prices on the items so always asked US how much things were.
Hire of aerial lead was excellent.Well would have been if we had remembered the tv remote.Couldnt tune in the tv.LOL
Used this site as a base to visit Croyde and Saunton Sands.
Well done to the owners on a job well done. Recommend every time.
Pity the English weather wasnt as good.

Beautiful site run by very friendly and hospitable owners. Shower blocks fantastic as stated. Everything is brand new so it's all very clean and fresh.I would imagine that it would still feel new 5 or 10 years down the line due to the standards by which the owners operate this site.
Great location for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon coast.
The river makes a very nice feature on the site and was being enjoyed by a lot of the children. We kept an eye on our 5 year old however as it is quite fast and deep in places.
Well done to the owners for supplying picnic tables with the pitches free of charge.I don't think there's enough for every pitch but the vast majority of serviced pitches seemed to be using one. It makes a big difference and something a lot of other sites could and should offer.
Location for South Molton is very convenient. We only used it for supplies so can't really comment on anything else. There is a Somerfield - follow signs for the cattle market in the centre of the town. Continue past the cattle market and it's on the left hand side.
For a quick convenient bite to eat The North Gate Inn is literally 2 minutes drive from the site - out of the site turn right on the A361 and it's at the roundabout. The selling point for us parents is that it is close by, reasonably priced and has a very good outdoor play area for the kids which is secure. We didn't use it for breakfasts but they serve breakfasts from 7 am which is fairly unusual for a pub. They only serve food until 8 in the evening.
The only small downside to this site is it's location right next to the A361 which is a 'very' busy road even late into the night. This didn't really impact us but it's worth mentioning if absolute peace and quiet are a must as the road noise is very noticeable. Everyone we spoke to on our stay who commented on the road said that it wouldn't put them off returning as it was such a well run site overall.
We were told that the owners have further plans for the site. Hopefully any future additions won't detract from what is already a fantastic site and especially for the price.

An excellent level site. VERY friendly & helpful staff. Good size pitches, electric, TV hookup, waste water drains, drinking water all on the pitch and all included in the price. The shower blocks are free, large, heated and very very clean. Has disabled toilets/showers and a fully tiled flush toilet waste disposal unit built out of bricks & tiles.Fantastic. No playground, but understand one in the pipeline but there are 40 acres of meadows, fields and woodland that you can walk over all within the park with a great little river running through the middle of it. Ideal for the kids and dogs who are made very welcome here. Easy access to M5, 8 miles from Barnstable and 1 mile from South Molton where you will find the Tiverton Inn.Great food, great atmosphere and very reasonable prices.Beware of the "rattler" cider though. One big headache! All in all a 100% camping site and all this for just £15 per night in peak season.UNBEATABLE.

What a great place to stay ! lovely views, fantastic river to play in.Take your ringo and try the real life lazy river (eat your heart out Centre Parcs), Its their first season and a massive well done to you. Clean Clean toilets, well stocked shop. We had a really great time at this campsite (but keep it to yourself as we don't want it to get to busy that we cant get in again). This is one of the best sites I have stayed in, quiet, and peaceful please keep it like this and you will many years of success. Thank you.

Just got home from this site and can't wait to go back. We booked the night before because the site we were on was awful. This is a new site and has been very well thought out with caravanners and campers in mind. All the hard-standing pitches are tarmac instead of gravel with a grass area for the awning and each have their own water, electric, tv connection and grey waste. Tv aerial cable, electric cable can be hired as well as irons and ironing boards. Toilet and shower facilities were the best we have ever seen and spotlessly cleaned twice a day - 12noon and 12midnight. Our compliments to the cleaners. Reception also houses a small shop selling those essentials you always forget to bring as well as a good selection of basic food provisions. Fresh bread rolls are available every day and brought round to your pitch every morning by the owner. This we found a very nice touch. The River Mole runs through the site and those campers that didn't want the electric etc., could pitch along the river bank. The river was excellent for a bit of fishing and also safe for the kids to paddle in. There was also a separate area for tents and although we had a fair bit of rain the ground was not too bad. The owners and site warden made you feel very welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble. They have plans to expand a little and put in a couple of fishing lakes as well as a small clubhouse for those rainy days. But they are keen to keep this site quiet. It is a gem and although the main A361 runs along side the site there is minimal noise from traffic. South Molton is within walking distance and all the main Devon attrations are just a drive away. Well done to the owners and their staff and a big thank you for a lovely holiday.
