Stopped here with my elderly Mother as a stop over on the way to the tunnel. Considering the price I think it was disappointing.
It’s clearly very popular due to its location and that’s great and the staff were friendly.
But the door to the shower block is so neglected my Mum couldn’t enter on her own. The shower doesn’t have any stool/chair & there was no mop for the floor. So it was wet & no way we could dry it and mud had been walked into the showers. The temp is scorching hot or hotter if someone else uses a tap. The water hose was filthy and in the muck on the ground.
It’s obviously a lucrative spot so it seems a shame some of that money hasn’t been spent on the facilities. But it you don’t care about that and want to spend £30 to plug in near the tunnel then it’s perfect.

Great site for a stop over to the Eurotunnel which is only 15 minutes away.
Has electrics on quite a few pitches and is within easy access to the M20 too.
Unfortunately pub only serves food til 5pm on a Sunday, but enough places around within easy reach if you wish to eat a bit later.
Definitely a recommended site for a stopover.

Very pleasant night here very convenient for the euro tunnel 8mins away. Very friendly staff great beer and excellent food.
A truly wonderful proper old pub as they used to be with locals sat at bar chatting about life don't get many like this anymore,
Will use everything we are travelling to Europe from our long drive from North Wales and 1st stop off the train before heading home

Great site 10 minutes from the Eurotunnel.
Didn’t have food in the pub but it looked amazing.
The facilities are basic but adequate for an overnight stay.

Very efficient booking system.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Booking a table in advance at the Drum Inn was an inspired decision (I read the reviews). The food was delicious!
The site is simple but pleasant, the facilities basic but we use our own.
Its location is ideal - easy to find. And close to the Chunnel.

Lovely little site well kept,
Unisex facilities kept clean by the site (shame men don't always lift the seat) shower a bit poor for £1
Food in the pub was excellent and reasonably priced
Friendly and amicable staff

Next to the M20 and close to Eurotunnel. Small campsite run by the Drum Inn a good Pub with good food.
One shower 10 minutes for a pound, two unisex toilets a sink for washing up.
Electrical hook up.
We've stayed there for the second time.
For us it's more relaxed to spend the night before you go through the tunnel.

The campsite is level and spacious behind the pub,
With electric hook up,
Nice clean shower and toilet,
It was very peaceful even though it was busy.
The food in the pub was excellent and well priced.
I highly recommended it and would stay here again.

Despite the many good reviews for this site we were very disappointed when we arrived. Pub closed, no directions as to which was our pitch. There was a small gravelled area and a larger unkempt grass area with no numbers of pitches.
We had to phone several times to get someone to show us where to pitch.
Our confirmation email told us that the pub was serving meals but we were told that the kitchen was closed on a Monday. So the generic email that is sent out is not accurate!
Also no one pre warned us that the shower is £1 operated for 10 minutes.
We won’t be back, especially for £28 a night.
