Another wonderful stay at Ponsandane!
The pitches are very generous, location is very near beaches, supermarkets, and coastal walks, yet quiet and peaceful.
Facilities are spotless, staff are very helpful and the atmosphere is chilled and relaxing.
I always feel happy and contented after a visit!
Love this site, my fourth visit and will book again for break next year.
Thank you

Ideal location for Penzance, St Michael’s Mount etc.
Large grass pitches with hook up and water.
No ramps needed for us but some tents at a bit of an angle.
Clean facilities though combined shower/ toilets meant a bit of queuing.
Next door to supermarkets.
Easy access.
Fires allowed.
Breakfast available.

Fantastic stay at Ponsandane and is certainly in our list of places to return to.
Shower/toilet block was immaculate and was visited by cleaning staff 2/3 times every day.
On several occasions there were queues for the toilets as each cubicle also houses a shower, so could be occupied for 20-30 minutes at a time.
A few independent loos would be beneficial but that would be our only slight negative. We were in Penzance for Mazey weekend and the site was quite busy but not full.
All the campers adhered to the rules about noise etc and we had undisturbed nights throughout.
The location is perfect, 5/10 minutes walk to town centre, Tesco next door and beach just across the road.
What's not to like?

This is simply the best campsite I've ever stayed at, the staff couldn't do more for us and nothing was too much trouble.
The amenities are flawless and the set up in general is just perfect, they just have everything right.
The staff make you feel that welcome it's like home from home and I was sad to leave if I'm honest, I will only stay at this campsite from now on because there really are no negatives.
Seriously if you want a trouble free stay with staff that will make you feel at home along with providing first class amenities then look no further you have it all here.
Thank you to all of the staff at Ponsandane I will be back. ❤👌

Well managed and maintained campsite with adequate space on each pitch.
Facilities well maintained although more toilet shower units would alleviate the queues.
Extremely convenient for roads and access to Penzance centre.

Well located to visit Penzance although as it is very near the main road there is a fair bit of noise.
This didn’t stop us sleeping but woke us early. The large field is very well draining as even after heavy rain it was not at all muddy or soggy. There is room for very large tents.
The showers and toilets are kept very clean with seven little units containing shower, wash basin and toilet in each one. We had to queue to use the toilet between 8 - 9. 30 am but outside of that time there were no issues. However, the site was less than half full.
I would think it would be helpful to have some toilets without showers in them to speed up usage as when someone is going to the loo, shaving then showering, getting dry and dressed, it does take time. So when the site is full, queueing may well be an issue.
There is a cafe serving breakfast with quite a few outside table and chairs to sit on and food was good plus reasonably priced.

Great location if coming from London by train.
Easy to walk/cycle from train station.
Beach nearby and access to Penzance, Marazion, Mousehole and St Ives by walking, cycling or buses.
Best toilet/showers of any campsite.
