Soooooo great. Rachel is such a warm helpful and welcoming host with excellent communication. Even at the end of I'm sure a busy season.
It's such a relaxed place and I love the basic facilities, very clean and proper back to nature, as it should be.
I loved hearing the owls at night and having a beautiful view of the sunset. Lush. Thank you

Beautiful location for a campsite.
Spacious with really clean portaloos.
A bit of a long bumpy road up but okay for our old campervan.
We really enjoyed our stay and loved seeing so many stars at night!

I only stayed the 1 night in my 1 person tent with my dog but wished I stayed longer.
Very relaxing, peaceful, plenty of space to choose from, very quiet.
I had walked a lot the day before and just crashed.
Woke up in the middle of the night and saw millions of stars in the sky.
Highly recommended!

Gorgeous campsite. Beautiful field for camping.
Rachel the camp site manager very helpful. Sadly weather conditions were awful so we decamped after one night.
Will definitely be back to New HouseFarm Campsite 🤞weather will be kinder.

We had a lovely time, firstly we had a large plot size to ourselves allowing plenty of room for us and our dog.
The place was very clean with water, toilets, bins and ash bins (which were handy with the wet ash in the morning).
It’s a defo upgrade from the previous camping facilities.
Rachel was very kind and attentive checking up on us before the day was done! Thanks!

Lovely situation, a very large campsite considering the amount of pitches, so lots and lots of space.
There are clean portaloos and drinking water and the possibility of a fire. At the weekend there were quite a few people there but it still felt very uncrowded and during the week, only a few guests so everything was lovely and peaceful.
The track up is very bumpy although apparently it is going to be sorted out this winter.
At the moment there are no showers again apparently some sort of washing facility may be installed in the future.
But if you want a back to basics campsite in a lovely location….
This is the one for you!

Very quiet and isolated site. Limited facilities ie no shower, ideal for one night.
Walking distance to a lovely pub - Star & Gartner, friendly pub with excellent food - booking recommended.
Ideal spot for walking.
Access road is very bumpy.
Perfect for peaceful short stay.

The quietest site we have ever visited, its like being off grid but with toilets and water.
The views are amazing and woodland walks are stunning.
You can pitch anywhere and sometimes takes the need of leveling ramps but most motorhome/ campers have them if you want perfection.
The night is ink black and sun up comes with a dawn chorus.
I hope nobody else goes there so we can keep it to ourselves.

The campsite is in a stunning location with fabulous views of the countryside.
We have stayed here many times over years and will keep on returning.
Rachel who is now managing the site was a ray of sunshine and couldn't have been more attentive in ensuring we were happy and settled in ok.
The site only has portaloos but they are cleaned daily and there are ample toilets for the number of pitches.
