What a little gem Elford is.
Great facilities clean and all in working order friendly staff and owners.
Location was just perfect with all major tourist attractions within 20mins driving from site.
All in all me and my wife had a great break at Elford and will definitely be booking again and would recommend this place to friends and family.

Been coming for a long time. Nice site in many ways if you like quiet and don’t need to be walking distance to Seahouses. Good base for visiting many places.
Toilets clean but on our visit one of the 2 ladies showers operated poorly, one of the 3 toilets was out of use and of the 2 sinks one was badly cracked and the glass shelf above… at head height has a large chip and is a nasty cut waiting to happen. This has been the case for at least 12 months with the shelf.
Internet didn’t work at all, probably due to the location and beyond the owners control. Still if you need internet be aware of this issue. Grass is kept short and it’s still a nice quiet site.
Owners are very pleasant. However Ben who manages the storage was also very pleasant but constantly promised he was sorting or had sorted an issue for us then became impossible to get hold of.
We spent a lot of time looking for him or calling at the house to be told he’s nipped out but will be back etc etc… each time we left a message for him that we were now at the caravan we waited in vain and left the site with the issue still unresolved.
Sadly we feel it’s time to try somewhere new.

The site was easy access from the A1down a single lane for about 3 miles, with a large gateway entrance.
The toilets and showers were cleaned every day.
The owner was lovely and friendly. The showers were free and lovely and hot.
Seahouses was about 4 miles with plenty of places to eat.
Bamburgh castle is well worth a visit.
The only downside was that we couldn’t access the WiFi the whole holiday.

Site was generally kept clean and tidy. Nice friendly owner's. Pick your own pitch on arrival, may need chocks as some pitches not level.
About 2 miles into Seahouses, little too far to walk along the narrow but quiet lane. Signage could be better.
The instructions say coming from the south on the A1 turn right at the Sign for Newham and Elford, there isn't one, there is if your coming from the North.
When we realised we must have missed the turning we had to find somewhere to turn around and head back down the A1 in the opposite direction which is when we saw the sign.
Similar with the site entrance, the site is not visible from the lane as you approach around a right hand bend, the caravan storage is well signed but not the site entrance.
Having said all that we had a very enjoyable holiday, loved the Northumberland and will definitely be returning some time in the future.

This is a lovely campsite just 2. 5 miles from the seafront.
Its about 45 minutes walk into seahouses and the beach.
Or a 5 min drive down to the sand Dunes where you can park. Narrow roads to the campsite so be cautious of oncoming cars.
Within driving distance to other places like Bamburgh and Alnwick.
Facilities lovely and clean and nice hot showers.
Will definitely be coming back here.

Site is in a good location, very chilled and laid back. No having to pay extras for dogs, cars, gazebo etc.
Facilities good and electric showers which is a bonus! Enjoyed it so much we've decided to site and store our caravan here.
The own will take it to a pitch when you arrange to come back or you can take it off site.

The site is conveniently situated for visiting the Farne Islands, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh etc.
The owners were friendly and helpful.
The site, however, is rather let down by its WCs/showers which, while they are kept clean, are in need of a revamp.
I can't comment on the Ladies' facilities but the Gents' showers were particularly poor.
