The Boss made a spur of the moment booking here. So glad she did.

Stayed here many times as it’s one of our favourites, particularly as it’s a short journey from home.

It’s one of half a dozen sites we keep coming back to. For some reason we always feel relaxed, unrushed and laid back here.

As we expected we had a lovely welcome from warden. Pointed us to a couple of good pitches.

The site was always clean and tidy, the lavatory blocks especially clean.

No playground on site but quite a good one just outside. Believe there is a small dog walk on site,

Bull terrier told me it was ok. There is the whole of Exmoor dog walk of course.

All pitches have EHU.

All the facilities you would expect from a MHCC site.

There is a river down one side (Barle?) and loads of trees so this is a lovely site.

A couple of minutes through the carpark gets you into Dulverton town, a lovely little place.

The Copper Kettle is a good place to eat and Dulverton Deli good for picnic food and other local produce.

There is a good butchers and a co-op.

There are walks from the site an especially good one to Tarr Steps.

Also Linton and Lynmouth and Porlock Weir are a short drive away.

All in all a good site. Expect we’ll be back in he new year.

You can even hear the sea lions at night.

Found this site through the clubs annual book.

The site is situated in a lovely area, with walks along the river and a high street with different little shops to browse.

The site itself was very quite (just what we wanted being an older couple) Loved the fact that dogs were very welcome and there was no extra charge (as some camps do) - the site was very clean and well kept, with grass areas and flower beds neat and tidy.

Will recommend and hope to return at some stage.

 Back again!

Fantastic site. One of our favourites.

Warm, friendly welcome from the wardens (who remembered us from last Whitsun!) and very quick check in so the 1pm queue doesn't build up too quickly.

Good choice of large hardstanding pitches. We were lucky enough to get our favourite pitch too.

Excellent facilities (2 blocks) and always spotlessly clean and well looked after by wardens and campers.

Water points around the site. All bins, including recycling at the entrance.

Literally a 5 minute walk into the village and/or to the local pub (Bridge Inn).

Lovely quaint little village with everything you could need. Co-op, butchers, fish & chips shop, tearooms, restaurants and bars.

Great walks directly from the site. We particularly love the walk up through Burridge Woods to Marsh Bridge and back. Great tearoom at Marsh Bridge with excellent cream teas and freshly made cakes (all tables are outside).

Good fish and chip shop in the village and not over-priced like some.

Had a Sunday roast in the Bridge Inn and that too was excellent (not cheap though!).

We had friends camping with us who we introduced to Dulverton and they loved it and the site.

Maybe this will be our new regular Whitsun home? Here's hoping!

This is an excellent well run site within walking distance of Dulverton.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities excellent.

There are a number of interesting shops to visit in Dulverton and some excellent places to eat.

The site is dog friendly and has a small dog walk.

Return visit but not for some while!

Just as lovely as ever, and we will definitely be back (again and again).

Small site (66 pitches - all hardstanding) but beautifully formed.

2 lots of toilet/shower facilities, always spotlessly clean and never had to queue. Water, bins, recycling, etc. , close to whatever pitch you were on. 1pm check in time, warm and friendly welcome.

Not cheap to stay here but tell me where is these days?

Even over a very busy (almost full) bank holiday weekend the site was quiet. Just how we like it!

Short wander to the lovely little town with all you could possibly need. Pubs, cafe's, butchers, co-op, post office, etc. , etc.

Lots of walks directly from the site too.

After having a full English in the Copper Kettle Tearoom in town (highly recommended) we walked up through Burridge Woods to Marsh Bridge, where there's another tearoom (part of a B&B), serving delicious cream teas (highly recommended again!).

Next day we found another walk, high up in the woods and back down into Dulverton.

Weather was exceptional for a bank holiday!

This is one of our very favourite CAMC sites. The wardens obviously work really hard to keep everything clean and tidy. They are very friendly and a credit to the club.

A small site of 66 pitches.

Although there is only a small dog walk on site, it is a lovely walk from the site along the river into Dulverton itself which has pubs and tearooms as well as a few shops and a delicatessen.

Wet nice site and well located.

Small town next to the site and walkable.

Site very quiet and sheltered.

Lots to do within close distance shame it rained but apart from that really good.

Medium sized CAMC site by the river.

All large level hardstandings (some serviced)

Two excellent shower blocks.

Very short walk to historic Dulveron town ( don’t call it a village). Amazing it hasn’t been spoilt by tourism.

Excellent tv via boosted cable, good mobile signal and good WiFi

Heritage centre worth a visit as the history is fascinating.

Three pubs/eateries - all different for varying tastes

Wardens the best.

In lovely Dulverton on edge of Exmoor, right in village and next to Bridge Inn, nice old stone bridge, and the River Barle.

Gorgeous small site right on the river Barle 200m from village with lots of interesting shops, Co-op and butchers.

Our greatest find was the lovely largely offroad cycle along Lady Harriet Acland's Drive then uphill to Wimbleball Lake, and around that, then retrace.

We stayed for one night as a stop over. The site is small with a relaxed feel about it. Ideal loacation to walk intothe town.

Great walks from the town up into the hills where we encountered a stampede of sheep along one of the country lanes which was interesting ! There are several paths and bridle ways that go on for miles.

Dog walk on site is very small but given the walking in the area not a problem.
