Lovely rural location, beautiful scenery and the only real noise are the local geese flying overhead.
Currently being updated, new toilet/ shower blocks are usable with a few finishing touches needed.
Holiday lets are a work in progress, but should be lovely when completed.
Location is great for access to Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington (& everything in between).
There is a small on site shop/ coffee shop/bar(? - shop sells a selection of alcohol). Opening hours are limited however at present.
Electric pitches with some also having a private water supply.
There is a COOP (& other small shops) 5 mins away in Hunmanby for all of your supplies. Alternatively there is a TESCO in Filey.
Stayed multiple times now and we will be back next year.

Saxdale House Farm is a lovely camp/caravan site. Small but perfect.
Excellent pitch. Washing facilities are great, very new and extremely clean.
It’s a quiet area and a beautiful location.
Can’t fault it.
Don’t forget your 20 pence pieces for the showers and washing up hot water.

Very pleasant quiet site.
Owners Richard & Louise are very hard working.
The grounds are well maintained.
Showers & toilet block kept clean at all times (although a little dated).
A new block is under construction, hopefully completed in a couple of months.
Its a pleasant 30min walk into Hunmanby, I wouldn't suggest it at night though.
15min walk to railway station, 3mins journey to Filey.
Child friendly but no play park.

Another pleasant stay at this quiet, friendly site.
Ideally situated for visits along the Yorksire coast.
Filey 3 miles, Bridlington & Scarborough 9 miles away.
Lots of pleasant inland villages nearby.
On-site shop selling essentials & toys to keep little ones entertained.
Toilet/shower block kept clean at all times.
Undercover outdoor pot wash area.
No play park for kids but space for family games etc.
Love this site!

Lovely quiet well laid out site, clean facilities, showers 50p but ample time to get showered.
3 toilets, 2 showers in ladies.
Reception/shop area selling essentials.
Danish pastries/ croissants are baked fresh in a morning at weekends, ( not sure about mid week)
Also fresh coffee available.
The owners are very friendly & extremely hard working.
We like this site so very much we are now on a seasonal pitch.

Lovely well cared for friendly site.
Grounds are kept remarkably well even though its been so dry.
Louise & Richard are kept busy at all times, it shows with the progress they've made since last year.
Location is great for visiting all the east coast.
Facilities basic but kept very clean.
Children are welcomed but no play area.
We ate yesterday at The Bull in Gristhorpe, excellent food, large portions. A pity the staff weren't as cheery.
We will definitely be back, will probably be next year now.
We recommended the site to a lady from Leeds, who was also in the pub.

Lovely site with fabulously clean toilets and showers in a fantastic location.
Issues with communications, but helpful nonetheless.
Will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely site with very nice clean toilets, showers and very friendly owners.
Most pitches are sectioned off with big hedges which makes it feel very private and helped a lot with the wind!
Lovely hot croissants available in the morning with proper coffee!
Would definitely recommend and we would 100% stay here again if in the area.
