Fantastic site not too big to be over bearing with lots of campers crammed in.
Staff really friendly and helpful.
Would be nice to have a small shop however that's just the only negative I can think!
Park over the road and lovely pubs which are child friendly.
Facilities at this site are always clean whatever time of day or night you go.
We go back every year with a group of friends and will continue to do so for future years

The campsite is a flat, well drained field in excellent condition.
Pitches are clearly marked, the facilities are sufficient and very clean and there's plenty of hot water.
The village is two mins walk, three pubs/hotels, a good shop and the countryside is magnficent.
I was mountainbiking and there were walkers there too (prepare for hills!). Kilnsey Crag isn't far away for climbers.
Kettlewell and nearby villages are busy communities so check what's on.

Absolutely fantastic site, this is probably our 5th time.
The amenities are spotless, can't fault this place as nothing is too much trouble. So friendly and welcoming. Great advice and knowledge of local walks.
2 local pubs serving a great variety of food. The Blue Bell and The Racehorses are close by.
We will be back.

The shower/toilet/pot washing facilities were excellent - clean, spacious and stylish - much better than most. No extra charge for the showers.
The camping field is flat, pegs went in the ground easily. No hard standings.
Right on the edge of Kettlewell, a very short walk to the nearest pub.
The wifi extends to every part of the field. Owner was helpful and friendly.
Beautiful views to the hills.
Can’t think of a negative.

I would highly recommend this site have been loads of times, just got back from taking our 11 year old grandaughter and she loves it because the stream and river are so close by she was in there with her aqua shoes on most of the day.
The showers are great and clean as is all the site. One day we went to grassinton and had lunch at the Old Hall in Threshfield.
The site was very quiet which we loved but have been when its a lot busier.
Its not cheap but our electric was all in which makes a bit difference to us.
If you go out of the top gate there are two Lamas which our grandaughter loved to visit every day, we have taken her to a few camp sites but this is definitely her favourite.
If you have children it feels really safe and Nigel the owner will not put up with and rowdiness or bad behaviour and often stays on site overnight.

It would be a very nice site if the owner hadn't crammed as many tents in as possible. DoE uses the place so every possible space was filled,
Good facilities but not enough when camp site is full to brim
