2nd visit to this site and there's nothing really negative to say. That said, we were pitched incorrectly and the warden came and asked us to move which we did immediately.

We weren't told to pitch as close to the sleeper as possible so we pitched in the middle of the pitch. Our bad but. A little later on, a caravan came being towed by a range rover. They put the caravan to the sleeper, put an awning up then parked their range rover within 2ft of our unit.

The occupants were in and out of their vehicle for hours so we had to put up with slamming car doors. Not only that but every time they used the vehicle, we had to endure the noisy diesel engine running whilst family and doggies were organised.

They were a nice family but it did dampen our spirits as we felt hemmed in, over-looked and space invaded.

We walked into Harrogate town centre, 45mins steady away but you are walking on a busy road, the pavements are good and wide however. We we disappointed with Harrogate. No pedestrianised area's, every road and street busy with traffic and people.

We used the frequent bus service from the town centre and went to knaresborough which was a15min bus ride away. Knaresborough had Yorkshire ambience in spades, pretty market square, quaint independent shops, less frantic than Harrogate. We would visit knaresborough again and by-pass Harrogate altogether.

Harrogate Caravan Site is easy to access, a good base for the wider area and the wardens were friendly, the facilities clean.

The waste water drain for motorhomes isn't easily accessible and would be better situated at the main motorhome service point. I really can't understand why it is positioned in the corner of the site and when in use, blocks access to some pitches.

We have been to this site before and what we like about it is its location on the edge of Harrogate.

There is a pleasant walk to Harrogate town centre which took us old ones about 45 minutes. Or you can catch the bus ( which we did on the way back ) which runs about every half an hour from outside a large Sainsbury’s which is a ten minutes walk from the site.

There are plenty of countryside walks straight from the site so great for dog walking.

The site itself is kept neat and tidy.

The toilet block is a bit dated but well maintained and it also has a spacious shower / toilet room. The block does seem a bit small for the size of the site but we never had to wait to use the facilities.

Water taps are limited but I requested a pitch near a tap and we were given one straight next to a tap so I could not complain.

Lovely little site. Very well kept with excellent clean facilities.

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

We took our dog and there was some lovely places to walk with her and a little beck for her to play and splash around in just a few minutes walk away.

Loved our stop here.

Will come again!

Quiet site with good WiFi. Some pitches feel industrial, others are great.

Showers were fab although individual cubicals smaller than average.

Site is really well looked after and has a friendly welcome and feel. Buses run from Sainsbury's to Harrogate and Wetherby.

A 25 min walk brings you to bus stop for Knaresborough or can get the bus from sainsburys to the nearest stop on Knaresborough route.

Beautiful site in a very convenient location with extensive dog walking opportunities just outside.

Has the feel of an old caravan club site, so facilities are excellent but a little dated.

Very good value for money, though. Large pitches are great; camping pitches close to caravans with no obvious route out without crossing another pitch.

No way is this site child friendly and would be better described as adults only.

Children were corrected/complained at for things adults were frequently doing: crossing others' pitches for example.

There was quite a list of dos and dont's on arrival. Maybe some facility for play or a designated area would help.

The site is an ideal base for visiting many of Yorkshire's attractions. I bet it is manic when the Yorkshire show is on!

For a couple, an ideal site with lots to offer.

Great location with farm shop, cafe, pub and Sainsbury’s superstore a short walk away.

On bus route into Harrogate centre. Easy approach from A1/M.

Facilities good quality and very clean.

Pitches can be sloping and our ramps were a bit small if I had known I would have brought the larger ramps from the shed.

25m hook up cable only just long enough to reach a rather distant bollard. Good TV and mobile signal on Tesco and EE network.

Harrogate town centre is well kept and demonstrates great civic pride well worth a visit.

A lovely site close to a Sainsbury shop and petrol station and also a farm shop.

There is a bus near Sainsburys that will take you into the centre of Harrogate in 10 minutes.

The toilet block is immaculate

Stayed here for four nights. Primary reason was to go to the Motorhome and campervan show which was within walking distance.

Fantastic site, excellent wardens, great facilities.

Within walking distance of Harrogate, or there is a regular bus service within a short walking distance.

Lovely walks from the site, several pubs within walking distance.

We will definitely return.

WOW! Loved this site. Rebooking for next year.

You're not far from all the action, weathby, boston spa, harrogate itself.

Nice quiet site. Dog walks on your door step.
