Harrogate Caravan Park is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Access is very easy and the online directions are 100% reliable. Vicki and John, are amazing, regardless of how early in the day or late at night give one and all such a good welcome, you feel your holiday has begun the minute you drive through the gates and they’re always ready to help make your time there run smoothly and extremely happily. Vicky and Rob were assisting this year and were lovely too.
The site is maintained beautifully and the toilet blocks, including the excellent separate disabled facilities are spotlessly clean as are the dishwashing, laundry and Elsan areas.
The free wifi is reliable and strong and having the gorgeous food shop “Fodder” next door and a big Sainsbury’s store, including fuelling station, so close, makes staying on this site very easy.
Harrogate is readily accessible from the site and I found the Parking Disc, available at reception, extremely useful for parking in the free but restricted zones in the town centre, I used it most days.
This was my second stay, ( 2014 and 2015 ) and the first phone call I’ll make should I be going to Harrogate again will be to book this site again.

We have just spent a week on this site and after reading the previous reviews I think all the positives of this site have been mentioned. Whilst we were there, whether by accident or design, the campers with children seemed to be located in one half of the site and us happy grumps who don't have kids were in the other half. (Bliss!) Unfortunately, despite the observed intervention of one of the site wardens, some families appeared just to abandon their children which led them to run riot in the shower blocks etc.
Would I visit this site again? A massive Yes, but not during school holidays.

Spent 3 fantastic nights on this wonderful site.
It is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The wardens are incredibly friendly and very helpful.
Harrogate is a pleasant walk away which is approx 2. 5 miles, however there is a large Sainsburys at the end of the road.
There is also a delightful country pub called the Travellers Rest across the field at the main gate, which serves great food and more important is dog friendly.
Definitely coming back again!

First visit since change from CC. A good many positive changes. Well defined and spacious pitches, mostly hard stand. Wardens most helpful and keep the site in tip top condition. Showers spotless and upgraded to excellent standard. Overall, an improvement since Club days. If Harrogate is your scene, this is the site for you.

Stayed for 2 nights just wished we could have stayed longer.
The staff we very pleasant and showed us to our pitch which is a nice touch. The pitch was nice and level with plenty room for car caravan and awning.
The toilets were nice and clean and the showers were hot and powerful. In general the full site is nice and well kept.
There is a supermarket just along the road for all your provisions. Harrogate is within walking distance (roughly 2 miles) and has a huge range of shops and eating places.
A lovely site in a handy location will most certainly be returning.

Excellent site, we went mid week so it was quite, the wardens were very friendly and obliging. The facilities were very clean and the showers excellent.
Harrogate is a lovely walk or bus ride in, we enjoyed the day, having lunch in a Tapas bar, which we would really recommend.
We could also recommend Fodder, the produce is all lovely and fresh and not overly priced and we had our breakfast there before leaving the Creamed Mushrooms are out of this world.
Our visit was topped by the numerous Red Kites we saw.
All in all highly recommended

Had a 3 night stay here last week and I thoroughly recommend the site in every respect. The only slight issue was the nearby main road into Harrogate itself which is basically a traffic jam all day. Superb location for golfers with Rudding Park and Pannal close by. Lovely staff, excellent pitches, superb facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. We will certainly be back. The local pubs are very pleasant and the overall location is ideal for a variety of activities. The Red Kites are a delight

Greeted by friendly staff, that was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us, this is a lovely site, very clean and tidy, shower block is immaculate with hot powerful showers.
The only downside to the site is the traffic noise from the trucks visiting warehouse next door. York is only half hour drive from the site and there is plenty of other places to visit close by.
Would stay again and would recommend to friends.

Lovely little site, toilets were immaculate and the showers were one of the best we've been to for power and temperature. We were greeted by a lovely friendly couple and the man came over later to check we were ok once we had set up. There is free wi-fi which actually works!
The site is next to a Sainbury's which was really handy and we found out that if you buy their pizzas from the counter, they will cook them for you for £1 extra, so we could take them back to the tent.
We would also reccomend Woodland Tandoori just up the road, who delivered to the site gates for us, really good food.
Lovely village to visit is Knaresborough, I think about 5 miles away, and also easy to drive into York.
Lovely area and lovely site, will definitely be returning.

Small Park, nice staff, however, you get what you pay for, noisy, lots of young drivers driving by the road with fast noisy cars, unfortunately we are back to Rudding Park, in fact we have taken a seasonal pitch!
Good if you want nothing, arrive with caravan and stay in the caravan.
