This site is a small, peaceful haven, sheltered from the weather, with spacious pitches a lovely little lake and extremely kind and friendly hosts.

Coastal walks from the site, fish & chip van on Wednesdays, clean, spacious facilities, lots of hot water.

Even rates for solo travellers and very dog friendly.

Fishing is available too in the right season!

We stayed for 7 nights on this wonderfully quiet, relaxing site.

Rusty & Darren were great hosts, filled our water, showed us to our pitch & told us about the facilities. One large shower room & one toilet, with a traffic light system (which can be seen from around the site & works very well).

Very good internet @ very reasonable price, available cross the site.

Really enjoyed the ‘Shy Pig’, a log cabin where people take their own drinks & socialise from 6pm onwards. All people on site were so sociable & friendly.

Very well stocked small fly fishing lake, with ducks, moorhens, etc.

They have their own large black pigs & sell own grown pork chops, sausages & bacon (all very tasty). Also fresh eggs from their own chickens.

The harbour is only a couple of minutes walk away, with the lovely Harbour pub serving good food every day. Also a fish & chip van by the harbour every Wednesday, which was really good quality.

There is a little store a short walk from the site, which sells all the basics (except alcohol).

This was our first visit, but will definitely not be our last.

Fantastic stay at Rustys lovely cottage. Place was immaculate and had everything needed for out 4 night break.

Rusty and team were very friendly and the site is fantastic with all its wildlife and 11 week old piglet. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a quiet break and will definitely be going back.

Garlieston is a lovely place with good walks and the local pub was very welcoming and serves good food.

What a hidden gem this camp site is. Once you drive through the iron gates its like entering a 'secret garden' with the sound of bird song, ducks and chickens. The owners are helpful and friendly, what camp site would lend you a TV because you brought the wrong remote for your own. Which owner would help you settle your unit onto the pitch?

The facilities were all spotlessly clean. You can buy pork, preserves and eggs - just put your money in the 'honesty box'(not for the meat though) and away you go.

Lots to do, the village pub is lovely, and the fish and chip van on a Friday evening is excellent value too.

This was the second campsite we stayed in with our new Eriba. Fabulous site. Quiet, adults only, middle of nowhere, just how we like it. Nice helpful friendly owners (farmers).

Good shower and toilet, sinks etc. Large hut near pond for socialising. Wifi (small fee).

Good dog walks from site in all directions around the bay and coast and inland forest walks. Great local pub (only one in village) with good food and service 5 mins walk away.

Local shop for essentials and supermarket a good half hour away.

Wanted to go back for New Year 2020 but all booked up already!

A privately owned campsite with everything you would hope to find and more.

Rusty was friendly and helpful.

The previous reviews say it all.

The local pub was welcoming and served good food.

We would happily recommend this site to family and friends.

What a fantastic site! Quiet peaceful family run, great welcome and clear advice on where everything was, local amenities, sea fishing marks, walks, cycle routes etc etc. ! Dog friendly site and local pub. Their own bacon, haggis, meat, fish and eggs for sale and lots of information leaflets available in the spotless toilet shower block. Highlight has to be the evening gathering in the sites Loch side bothy where you get a couple of hours to catch up with the owners and other caravanners/ motorhomers/ campers on site. It gives this place a unique atmosphere so the even after one night you feel your amongst friends. A brilliant idea! Fishing on site was superb with great advice given from Darren re best techniques. A gem of a site with lots to do in the area. Can’t wait to return very soon! Thank you.

What a great Campsite, Clean and well maintained, everyone at the site was so friendly, especially the owners. WE were made to feel very welcome as if staying as part of the family. Very quiet and relaxing plenty to see and do, shame we had to come home. Facilities are spot on good level hard standing pitches and well sheltered nice views. We shall certainly like to return again and recommend it to family and friends. Thanks Rusty and Darren.

This is a superb little site. Only space for around 9 units so is nice and quiet and intimate. The trout lake is the focal point of the site, with fishing permitted. The facilities, though not numerous are seriously smart, with some clever, yet simple little additions, to make your stay fun and comfortable. The family have rare breed pigs on the site and well as chucks, so there was plenty of nice food to buy at a good price.

We cant wait to go again. It has now been placed high on our list of 'must get back ASAP ' sites.

I think that the thought that has, and is still, going on shows that this project is surely a labour of love for the owners

I have visited Garlieston Lodge several times this year. The site is a haven of peace and tranquillity. The owners make you very welcome and the site is well maintained and immaculate, with good size pitches and many of them over looking the fishing lake. No matter what the season, you can enjoy watching and listening to the wildlife on the site, buy free range Pork and eggs and chill. I have already booked for next year. This is the perfect base for exploring this part of Scotland.
