What a fab site. It's well spaced out and the owners are great. The toilets are spotless as is the site. Our children aged 6 and 8 loved the park and all the space they had to play. Everything about it is fantastic I cant praise it enough we will certainly return. It also has a great recycling facility.

Just returned from a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend at this site and despite being full it had a lovely peaceful feel to it. We were greeted by Louise the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful and we were directed to our pitch which was a very good size with plenty of room for awning & car and a great distance to the neighbouring caravan.
The whole site is perfectly flat so you should not be disappointed with whatever pitch you were given. The toilets and showers were very clean and warm, and no queues at all despite it being Bank Holiday.
My son loved playing football on the play area, and following on from a previous review, you feel very safe on the site especially for children.
Overall a terrific site which is in a great location, we visited both York Centre and Bridlington, and popped up the road to Pocklington a few times. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Brilliant camp site.
Very clean facilities.
Showers excellent.
Grass well cut and great flower beds.
Very secure. I felt the kids were safe at all times.
Helpfull and friendly staff.
Kids enjoyed the insect hotel.
Kids playground really good.
1 mile walk into Pocklington, busy road, if you have small children it would be better to go by car and a lot safer.
All in all a perfect place to stay
I would recomend to anyone and everyone.

Very clean site with play area for the kids. Flat site but a few wet areas when raining. Local motel 1/4 mile down the road where you can get a breakfast from 7:30 to 09:30 and a drink on a night if you just want a short walk. Poklington just down the road has a Sainsbury for all your needs and a few pubs if you want a meal plus a Chinese takeaway. Park and Ride 10 min. Away if you want to go into York.

We stayed here for just two nights and can only echo the other comments on here. The owners were very helpful and polite, our pitch was flat and plenty big enough for our Vango Diablo 600. The surrounding caravan owners were very friendly and the offers of a cold beer while we were pitching our tent were very welcome. The toilets and showers are a credit to the site owners and are spotless and well looked after. The site is quiet and noise isnt a problem. We borrowed the gas barbque from the owners at £6 on the saturday night, it was delivered to our pitch complete with gas. Pocklington is just down the road and we found a superb bar meal at the Oddfellows Arms just off the main square. Sainsburys supermarket is only down the road from the site. Burnby Hall gardens are worth a visit, the lakes are full of exotic water lillies and the carp are really tame.
A lovely site, well looked after by caring owners. We will be back

What a lovely site. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the whole place is spotless. Along with a leaflet about the campsite, it also contained useful information about local amenities like directions to the nearest supermarket and names of doctors etc. Pocklington (very pretty) is just up the road and has everything there you will need. Visit the gardens in Pocklington, quite something with lots of different areas and a massive collection of water lillies on two lakes.
Ideally situated for York and the Yorkshire Moors. A really lovely site which we will definitely use again and again.

Spent 4 nights on this lovely site in half term hols. We were met by the owner, a very nice lady and were given a choice of pitches and shown where all facilities were. Lovely level pitches and dry - although it didn't rain until the morning we were packing up and it absolutley poured down and Louise the owner was very kind to say we could wait until after dinner to see if it faired up a bit before packing up - but it didn't! There was plenty of room in the fields as pitches were round edges and nice space in middle. The site was planted up nicely and well maintained - our pitch was against the fence of the owners garden and they had 2 lambs that came up to the fence for a stroke - Louise even said that my boy could have a go at feeding them one day, but we didn't have time. There was a large dog walking field and a large play area for the kids with climbing frame, swings, football goals and a flat bit for bowls, boules etc. The toilet / shower block was spotless and well maintained
Our purpose of this holiday was to visit York and there is a 10min drive to a great Park 'n' Ride which costs £2 each (children free) and drops you off near the main 'attractions' or the sightseeing buses which are great because you can hop on and off all day and they tour round all the main 'places of interest'. I would recommend this site for anyone wanting to visit York - there is no shop or bar / restraunt on the site, but pub near by and plenty of big shops in York.

Had a good holiday here with our two children aged 7 and 3. Toilet/ shower block very clean and never had a problem waiting for the shower despite being there on bank holiday weekend! Spacious, level pitches, grass regularly cut. The playground had some new wooden equipment, as well as swings and a football pitch. The washing up facilities are outside but under a canopy and consist of two sinks, occasionally a short wait for one but no problem. You could also use the sinks to do any hand-washing as the site doesn't have washing machines.
Pocklington is just over a mile away offering restaurants, pubs, cafes, supermarket, small cinema. It is not suitable to walk to Pocklington as it is a busy road without a footpath. Also Burnby Gardens makes a lovely day or afternoon out, whatever your age! Hull (we had a great day out at Streetlife museum) and York (with the National Railway Museum) not too far away.
Friendly and helpful hosts, always around if you need any advice or just a chat! Will definitely visit again. Our children loved it!

Well, what else can we say about this site but brilliant. We are regular visitors to Louise and Nicks site. The shower and toilet facilities are faultless. The wash-up area is always clean and they have recycling bins. There is a large field for children to play with a small playground. The local town of Pocklington has a variety of small shops and supermarket. There is a nice fish and chip shop called Stuarts in Pocklington. Millington woods is not to far away for any one who likes walking or visit York a 15 mins drive away. Well done to Louise and Nick on a well kept site.

Absolutely wonderful stay, made very welcome by the owners Nick and Louise to their beautifully
Kept site.Toilet/shower block is second to none in both cleanliness and layout.
Our two boys loved the play area and the open fields for walking.
Pocklington is just a mile up the road but be aware the road has no pavements so walking in the road is unavoidable.
Very campervan friendly and will be rcommending to friends, and hope to visit again, very soon.
