April 2004 I stayed here 4 times in 2004 for weekends. Without doubt the flattest site I have ever stayed on. Well organised numbered pitches, good grass, kids play area (why dont they use it I ask?) and definitely, absolutely definitely, the BEST loo block EVER. Small admittedly, but perfectly kept and FREE showers with loads of hot water. No shop (that's fine by me) but the small town of Pocklington is only a mile away. Excellent pubs within a mile or two doing superb (I mean superb)food. Very highly recommended. I like sites priced "per person" as we sometimes take several small tents. Do try this site. August 2004 The site is small with flat pitches that are well kept, a large playing field with swings etc. and a large maintained dog walk. There is also a rally field which is where we were pitched. You have more room per pitch on the rally field but electric is not available on this area. The whole toilet block looked as new and was spotlessly clean. Showers were hot all day.
There is no shop on the site but the owner will get papers and milk for you if ordered the night before.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone who like a quiet site.
P.s. there is a pub just around the corner!!!

July 2004 We found this site superb for those who like ourselves want peace and quiet. The showers and toilets were spotless and clean, the site also was immaculate. There are no on site shops, but is located near to local shops and stores, pubs etc. The is a large play area which our children enjoyed and a dog walking area. We found this site excellent for getting out and about to all the towns and attractions. We couldn't of picked a better place...we really enjoyed it and we will be going back!

April 2004 Great small and friendly site, toilet facilities where spotlessly clean and like new. There is plenty of space around the pitches and a small field for the kids to play in. There is also a seperate field for dogs to play in. We spent a lovely weekend there and could not fault the site, the only draw back is the noise from the main road which is only 300yrds away. Having said that the noise is not that bad, you only notice it late evening and in the morning.
