Lovely site. We revisit often. The spaces for the motorhomes are in an allocated area and are sheltered. The ice-cream van visits occasionally and sells lovely ice-cream cornets! The facilities for washing up, although located outdoors are covered and the hot water ia plentiful. The site managers and owners are always pleasant and welcoming. Adult only is wonderful and peaceful. If you don't have access to a car it is a fair trek to the local shops, left out of the site. The local pub is a fair walk to the right out of the site, but the food is wonderful, you do need to book at busy times, it is very popular. The dog likes to visit, he likes the dog walk and the wood walk opposite the site is really lovely.

Lovely site, well cared for, quiet, and a shower block to grace any five star hotel.  Lovely touch with the little 'library' for book sharing, magazines etc.  Lovely walk across the road from the site but apart from that, all other excursions must be done by car.  Will certainly visit again and recommend highly for those wanting a quiet away from it all weekend.

This site is outstanding, it is Adults only.
The lay out is really nice with fully serviced, large level hard standing pitches which are not allocated you choose where you wish to pitch.
The grounds are beautiful very well manicured lawns & shrubs, there is a small dog walk on site but if you want to let dogs roam free a 2 minute walk to the right from site entrance takes you to woods which are great.

The toilets & shower facilities look really nice although I did not use them.

All in all this is a site I would highly recommend if you want 5 star facilities with the added attraction of beautiful surroundings in a tranquil setting.

The site was very clean and tidy and very well maintained, the showers and toilets were second to none the only slight drawback was the push button on the shower that you have to keep pressing (sorry just a pet hate of mine). There was a lovely forest walk across the road where you could get lost for a good few hours with the dog. Then to top it all its adult only so no screaming kids just peace and quiet.
The owners are very friendly and told us there was a chippy about a mile and a half away and we also found a great chinese about 3 miles away called the slow boat.
All in all a great site which we will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed at Lamb Cottage as we had  heard some very good reports. The site itself was very nice and well cared for. The toilet block and showers were spotless. We were unfortunate to have 2 couples next to us who were very noisy. Started the barbecue at 9.30 pm which went on until 12.30 am. Both couples were old enough to know better.
We like to walk but found that we were unable to walk anywhere as the site was on a busy road. We had to use the car to get to Delamere Forest and other excellent walks nearby.

We stayed for one night on this beautiful campsite, the facilities were lovely and clean, and the hosts were very friendly, we will certainly be going back as this time it was a stopping off point. We are in our late seventies and found everything convenient for us, there are some lovely views from the site

This was our second visit to this site.  Adults only - sheer bliss having peace & quiet in such lovely surroundings.  Toilets immaculate and pitches are spacious. Owners friendly and helpful and definitely have put that extra touch of TLC into the place. Well worth a visit if in the area.

This is a lovely site. Very well maintained by the resident owners, who clearly take great pride in the site. Its adult only so quiet... lovely. They have a new toilet block which is very clean, with private bathrooms, a real home from home. There are lots of places to visit, Tatton Park, Manchester, Forest of Dean, Knutsford, Chester. There are also plenty of canal walks. We only live about 40 mins drive away, so is an ideal weekend retreat. We will definately be going back.

Excellent site, with very good shower and toilet blocks, nice lay out in a very quiet area.

Stayed at this camp site for one night on the way down south to break the journey up a little after a hard day at work.

It is a very level grass site just off the A556. The site is bordered by very tall poplar trees which provide good shelter. The toilets, showers and washing up facilities were very basic but also very clean.

The site doesn't have a shop or anything although there is a local shop about 5 minutes walk away on the A556.

The site cost £7.50 for the night and I would say that it was well worth the money. However, there isn't actually anything to do there and it really only serves the purpose to camp whilst visiting other places in the area or as an overnight stop.
