This is a lovely site just got back from a relaxing holiday here. Everyone who works very here very helpful. Everything clean and tidy toilets + showers clean no matter what time you went. New toilet block being built. Only thing didnt like was the next caravans car was next to your caravan and it was too close, if it set on fire your caravan may be up in flames.

This site when we were there a couple of years ago was fair but the pitches were close together and the facilities were old fashioned. Not what you can expect for a five star site. Shops were not nearby and so a car was a must to get groceries etc. We are unable to comment on how the site presents now in 2008 but can only hope that improvements have been made.

What a super site, clean, & well looked after, quiet, and restful. Good toilet/shower block. Decent size pitches.
The owners went out of their way to be helpful, and this is the first site we have been offered a cup of tea on arrival. On offer are DVD's Tapes, Books Magazines, and a big coloured TV - all offered free.
There is a on site dog walk, although on lead only. But there is a 20 mile walk, within a short walk down a quiet country road from the site.
There is a good shopping centre in Nth Walsham, and beaches are not to far away.

Just returned from a week at Two Mills. Very peaceful adults only site, situated in a lovely little country park and within easy travelling distance to most areas on the North Norfolk Coast. Very well run with helpful owners and wardens. A nice touch is the DVD/Video and book library and the piped music in the toilets! Site is very clean and well maintained. Country Inn just down the road which serves very good food.
However, whilst this review aims to be constructive, there are a number of points which the owners need to look at in order that their facilities could be judged alongside other '5 star' sites.
We stayed on one of the 'Panoramic' fully serviced pitches which are the most expensive. (£18 - £20 per night) These pitches were VERY cramped and meant that with awnings erected, our next door neighbour's car was parked about two feet away from our caravan. The same applied to our car of course - it had to be left underneath our other neighbour's window - not all that condusive to privacy!
Now to the toilet block - Please. Two ladies' showers for 55 pitches??! Albeit scrupulously clean, this was verging on the ridiculous! I attempted every morning for 7 days to use the shower facilities, but could only get in twice (and every visit was at a different time in the morning!) The showers are small and have a 'push button' which activates the water flow. Yes I know we have to be 'green' and save water where we can (particularly as this site drains to a septic tank) - but perhaps if each 'press' could have lasted more than about 20 seconds it might have made the experience more pleasurable! Happily, another smallish toilet block is beginning construction as the owners have just opened the 'Top Acre' which is a delightful top pitching area where tents are also allowed, but not convinced that this will alleviate the frustration of queuing for showers.
Sorry to appear a little negative - we did enjoy our stay at Two Mills - the weather was kind to us and the peace and quiet was priceless. But I really do think that to call this site '5 star' is a little too optimistic! Please don't let this put you off however, different people look for different criteria in a holiday - just hope you all have excellent showers in your caravans!

We have just returned from a lovely break at Two Mills. It was our first camping trip, and the first outing with our new Outwell Montana 6. As usual I'd left it a bit late to book places. I came across this site via the campsite search facility as we were looking for a relaxing and kids free bank holiday.
From what I understand they won't often take tents, especially not as large as ours!
We were on Pitch 11 which had a large grassed area and a hard standing. The tent just about fit on the grass but be warned, the area near to the gravel road is very stony and we found it extremely difficult to get a good guy peg in.
We arrived later than the stated last arrival time, having called ahead to explain - this was not a problem and we weren't the only ones! We were welcomed on the site and shown to our pitch. We were quite well sheltered but I would suggest people with tents really do consider using your guy ropes and anchoring them very well in the ground, as ours became loose after torrential downpours and required re-pegging.
The facilities were good although we only used the male and disabled toilets / showers (I was on crutches!) and the dish washing area. The loos have music playing - a nice touch! I believe they're building a new toilet block which would be great for people up where we pitched - it's a fair walk if you're bursting for the loo!
Site was very clean and tidy, and we didn't have any problems with noise whatsoever. There are lots of places to visit around the area if the weather isn't too great - we went on the steam train from Sheringham (£9 per adult return) and to the sea life centre in Great Yarmouth (£10 per adult but google search for 20% off voucher!).
Will definitely be coming back to Two Mills whenever we need a weekend getaway!

Very well kept site, very peaceful, good pitches, only 2 showers in the ladies and on the small side, but plenty of hot water, good location for getting around. Drains got a bit smelly which is a shame as the rest of the site is so well kept. Had problem with our electric hook up, but was soon fixed by the warden. Would return, great if your looking for a laid back place to stay.

Very clean, staff friendly, and a well maintained site, with some nice extras such as music in toilets and tea / coffee making facilities in Tv room, BUT in our opinion this site is completely unsuitable for tents. The ground is rock hard, even the grass area. Little thought appears to have been given to requirements for tents ie tents are placed on the high field very exposed to wind and the elements. The site is obviously intended mainly for caravans and tent users find themselves in a field full of caravans.
The road is surprisingly noisy, shop was very sparse, shower facilities limited given the number of pitches and run in a restricted way, ie water just hot enough, shower just about warm, some factilities were locked after 9pm ie dish washing area.
Generally the site lacked personality, probably due to the large amount of caravans and people locked away in them. For touring caravans the site is probably ideal but we feel the owners should be clear about who they are trying to attract or make some changes to properly accomodate tent users, eg lower areas would be more suitable for tent users as they are sheltered from the winds and the road noise.
Obviously the owners have no control over the weather but we were placed in the worst possible position for tents, their policy being to place tents in the top field, had we been placed in the sheltered area below then we would not have felt we had to leave a day early.

A well managed site for adults only. Most of the pitches had their own water and waste point which is a great benefit. We were offered a drink upon arrival which was an unusual touch. Lovely location in Norfolk and handy for the broads etc. Toilets were clean but were dated, although to be fair as we were leaving there was some modernisation of these facilities going on here. One unusual feature was the walk which surrounded the whole campsite in an elevated poison, ideal for dog owners. The office sold basic provisions and even caravanning eqpt. Would definitely stop here again when in the area.

We have just spent 4 days at this site it is one of the best we have stayed in The pitches were an excellent size managed to fit our campervan and also awning in. The site itself was spotless and the toilets and shower block were spotless and very clean they only had 2 showers but never had to queue.
This site was really dog friendly had a lovely dog area which you had to keep them on a lead but you can use there next field at the back to let them off the lead. The site was easy reach for great yarmouth and also to tour the broads our only problem was the weather but didnt spoil our break away at all

Lovely site - owners very friendly and helpful - pitches all large enough for unit - awning - vehicle and room to spare. Great example of an Adult Only site. Dog Walk on site is very good and area around site extends this wonderfully - try the walk into North Walsham or just walk around the fields at the back of the site. The only very small gripe would be the music noise from the Hotel about 150 yards down Yarmouth Road. It was a week-end so perhaps they were special functions and not a regular feature, however, it was audible and an irritant.
