We have just returned from a weeks stay, enjoying some of the best weather this year. Our only other stay at this site was in 2002, when it was our first outing with our first caravan, and the pitch was in the lower part of the site. Interesting to revisit as more experienced caravanners, and booked a fully serviced pitch on the more recent 'Top Acre'
The positives: the pitch was gravel, with enough room for caravan and awning, was level, and raked. The car is parked alongside on grass. There is free wi-fi available around the Reception area. Wi-fi access in your van is available on various plans, we booked for a week, and had an excellent connection. Check in was smooth and efficient by the owners and we were escorted to the pitch by a warden. If you have a dog, there appeared to be arrangements for on site short walks. We found T. V. Reception in the 'Top Acre' good.
The Not Quite So Positives: Our pitch was very 'tight'. The car must park on the grass strip alongside the gravel area for caravan and awning. Our only space for sitting out was behind the car, or, as we only used a porch awning, on the gravel behind. We did not have much privacy, and weekend arrivals who smoked and had an outside radio affected our enjoyment, even though the radio was low - on larger pitches, this would not have been a problem.
There were some larger pitches, but in our area, these appeared to be occupied by seasonal reservations.
Loud music from a nearby venue on Friday and Saturday night did go on until after midnight.
During this week grass cutting left clippings on the grass.
To sum up this site would not appear in our 'TopTen', it was adequate, but not impressive for a five star site.

We live in Norwich so run out to Two Mills for weekend breaks in the spring and autumn. 2013 is our second season of camping and this was the very first site we visited in 2012. The site is very clean and tidy. Showers and Toilets are clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. The site is within walking distance of North Walsham, so shops etc no problem and with a Hotel and bar across the road. Adult site so nice and quiet although tend to hear early morning traffic. Friendly owners and wardens which means you can always find someone on site if needed.

Just spent Easter here, Stayed on top acre where it was very quite and tranquil, had no problem with water which was mentioned on previous review.
There was some ground work going on which did not effect our stay or made any problem to our stay - when we enquired about it we were informed that a new water supply as been installed and is now in the process of being finished.
The wardens on site are all very pleasant and help full as are the owners. The surrounding area is excellent for walking, beaches are near by all in all very pleasant stay will be coming back.

We have just spent 2 weeks at Two Mills.
The Warden on site is very helpful and you are offered tea on arrival. The site is lovely and clean.
Town is just up the road with a great fish and chip shop and plenty of little shops.
Vicarage Gardens is the nicest garden we have ever been in, worth a visit and The Thursford collection is a fantastic day out.
We were on Top Acre we found the pitches to be quite close together especially the ones on the end going round the top corner, the pitches also face right into the caravan opposite.
You also need an aqua roll not a direct feed as the site has a problem with water pressure, They are trying to sort this out with Anglian Water.
Could do with more toilets.

Great location and has a lot to offer in the area, the town of North Walsham has everything you need, the Broads are on the doorstep with boat yards a plenty for hiring boats and watching the river world go by. The Gardens at the Old Vicarage, East Ruston are a must. 15 minutes and you are on the local beach with fantastic sunrises, local disused canal makes for a great late walk. The Weavers way takes you right through the heart of the area and is easily accessible from the site. A visit to Cromer just 9 miles away is a must if just to try the famous Cromer crabs.
The downside is the actual site where you are crammed in like sardines, the pitches are very small, room for van and awning on the hardstanding and car on grass next to you, however if you have a full awning you have nowhere to sit except at the back of your car or slap bang at the front of your van or worse still on the gravel roads, also open your blinds in the morning and your neighbours car is up to the side of your van. Pitches across from you are exactly opposite so your view is straight through their window and visa versa, we spent 2 weeks with our front blinds closed.
Toilets blocks very clean but tiny shower cubicles with a curtain that sticks to you if there is a draft, I am a small lady so heaven help anyone of a more generous stature. Only 4 ladies shower cubicles, not enough for a site this size. Great to see they rake the pitches between each occupant, nice touch but it just creates a dust party, our car and caravan were filthy and as we had hot weather the dust just came in the van through our open windows.
Walks on site are very nice but no dedicated dog only area where you can let them off the lead. Only 1 washing machine and tumble dryer and at £4 and £2 respectively the most expensive I have come across. Chemical empty point very unhygienic as no hose to rinse the soil away, a small 2 inch pipe comes out of the wall with a push button water system. Would not award this site 5 stars and would not return or recommend

We travelled to Two Mills on Friday afternoon, arriving at 7pm, We got the distinct impression that they prefer you to arrive earlier than this.
This site is in a brilliant area for travelling around the North Norfolk coast, however we were disappointed with our pitch allocation, which was a lot smaller than anticipated. Just enough room for car, van and awning, with a small area to sit out in front of the car. However the grounds seemed to be well manicured and tidy. As said in a previous review, It would be better if grass cuttings were collected after mowing and strimming as our van and awning got covered, with grass!
The mains water supply connection was dire, and impossible to fill a bowl let alone shower unless you use an aquaroll valve connection.
The showers in the toilet block were little better, although spotlessly clean, the shower cubicles are quite small, and the lights went out frequently, but worst of all was the fact that the water only flowed for several seconds before you had to press it again.
Unfortunately for the second week of our stay, we had a party of 2 vans on site complete with flashing lights and barking dogs who were very loud and disturbed other visitors as well as ourselves.
Its a pity that the wardens didn't walk round and check whats going on, although we do have to say we didn't actually complain to them. We were very lucky to have 2 glorious weeks of sunshine.
All in all I would not return to Two Mills, but will definitely return to the area, we found so many places to visit, from Sheringham right down to Southwold, There were dozens of practically empty beaches, and brilliant places to cycle to. North Walsham itself has everything you need if you don't want to travel. As I said the weather was particularly kind to us. We look forward to returning to the area.

Excellent site. Pitch was great and had the benefit of Sky hook up available(at a small cost). The site was immaculate and the wardens very helpful. The shower block that we used (on the lower level) was always clean and there was plenty of hot water. My only small criticism was there were only two showers and on a couple of occasions I returned to the caravan to use our own facilities rather than wait for a shower to come free. As we were there for two weeks I didn't find this a hardship.
The area around North Walsham is fantastic. The broads were in easy reach as were the marvellous beaches. Plenty of walks and fantastic scenery everywhere.
We will definitely return to this site.

Strengths; Grounds are well maintained, toilet block clean with free showers, high standards of facilities, well lit at night, good sized pitches, friendly staff.
Great location for touring with 15 min drive to nearest beach, shops nearby. Can freeze packs for charitable donation
Downside if in a tent: Hard base stands and not allowed to pitch on the grass, really difficult to pitch on. Showers require repeated button pushing (every 20 seconds) to maintain flow of water, pain if trying to wash your hair etc.
Hotel opposite the site has live music every Friday and Saturday in a marque, don't expect to get to sleep before midnight. Expected direct access to fridge and freezer when paying £21 per night.

This site was recommended to us and we were so pleased with it. It was everything they said and more. The site was perfect in every way. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. The site was well maintained and the toilet/shower block was spotless whenever you went in there. The site was in walking distance to the beach and we intended to return on our last day with a picnic but the weather let us down (the only thing the wardens couldn't guarantee). We will definitely be returning.
