 Very quiet site. We don't have a TV but there are satellite hook up points everywhere. Contrary to an earlier review, we had very reasonable phone signals on 3. Lovely wardens and owners. Obviously do it for love and not just money. Toilets and showers were more than adequate and always clean. The pub over the road is a tad expensive and tired. Could do with a good clean.
Definitely recommended.

My sister and husband have never 'camped' in any shape or form! They love walking and the outdoors but have restricted such to hotel accommodation. So. How pleased we were when they accepted an invite to share a weekend in our van. Even more so; that we chose Two Mills as their first experience. They enjoyed (as did we) every minute. The local restaurant, the facilities on site - immaculate, the peace and tranquillity and easy access to locations that would have cost then many more dollars had they booked as they have done previously.
Great to see such attention to recycling - many posts do not mention this but not all sites accommodate. Service from booking to arrival and actually being escorted to pitch rather than having to follow a map - faultless.
We would have returned August bank holiday weekend had their been availability. Those that are. You will not be disappointed!

We have just returned from a week on this lovely site. Met by smiles and a cup of coffee and shown to pitch where wardens helped us put caravan on site. Shower blocks were excellent, spotless whenever used. Must be one of the best sites we have stayed on.

Just returned from a nice week at Two Mills, Nothing to moan about really, if I were being picky the showers in the lower block could do with updating and the Wood Pigeons could do with thinning out as they wake you up at first light by dancing on your roof, other wise, its a very well kept site & well worth a visit.

A very friendly Adults Only site in a pleasant setting, near North Walsham. We were welcomed with a cup of tea and felt very well looked after by the duty wardens. The site is on three levels, with plenty of shelter and level pitches. Cromer and Sheringham are a short drive away. Norwich is easy to reach, using the excellent Park and Ride services.
Two Mills is a mature site in a former quarry with woodland shelter, and minimal traffic noise - there is some aircraft activity from Norwich Airport, with helicopter traffic passing close overhead en-route to various offshore schemes.
It's a short walk to the town, over open fields for much of the way, avoiding the busy road; the nearby hotel/bar/restaurant is dog friendly and although we didn't eat there, the food looked very good, if a little pricey. Two well presented Cask beers (Woodforde's) large choice of lagers and draught cider.
The facilities were kept reasonably clean, but unfortunately failed to impress for a number of reasons:
There are two facility blocks, the older of the two is on the lowest section of the site, and feels cramped and outdated. The 2 shower cubicles are small and fitted with those special 'just too short' curtains which allow the shower water to splash across the floor, under the door and into the entrance area. A couple of washbasins are situated next to the gents' urinals, with no privacy screening.
I visited the second, newer block, expecting the shortcomings of the original layout to have been avoided, but although slightly newer, the overall design and equipment was similar to the older block. The only chemical disposal at Two Mills was below the standard I would have expected from a premium site. There's no flush cistern, and no handbasin or hand-drying either - the sole concession to personal hygiene is a dispenser for anti-bacterial gel. Flush water is provided by a short length of hosepipe attached to a pushflow valve with a very short duration. Since there is no shelf in the sluice area, it is tricky to hold your cassette, direct the hose, and push the water valve - all at the same time.
There is little or no TV signal in the lower or middle site areas, the owner has provided Fixed satellite dishes with multiple sockets for each dish. Satellite TVs are available to hire if required.
We found almost no cellphone signal anywhere on the site using O2; the N Walsham area was dismal for cellular signal, and very poor for 3G coverage. WiFi is free in the Two Mills reception area, but expensive to use their paid HotSpot service. It was common to see the benches outside the office occupied by guests wielding smartphones and tablets to take advantage of the free internet.
Two Mills is well worth a visit - the local area has so much to offer for all ages and tastes.

Our first time staying at Two Mills and have to say first impressions we were impressed!
Having travelled for 4.5 hours we stumbled out of the car and wandered over to where the wardens were sitting outside reception. Very warm welcome and even offered a tea/coffee. We were shown to our pitch which answered our needs, sheltered, always good with a tent, although not closed in and sunny, always a must. We were grateful to be pitched in the lowest of the three sections as higher up it was rather windy. (Having been caught out at Easter 2016 in Storm Katie we are now rather careful on our pitches) Could not wish for more even had our own water tap. Pitches are a good size made up of stones and a grass area for the car/to sit out on.
They do freeze ice packs but you don¡¦t have access to them they are locked in the freezer so only accessible during reception open hours. There is a TV in there open till 9pm if you feel the need. We like a break and make the most of the evenings by playing cards/board games.
There are two shower blocks to cover the three terraced areas, very clean, no problems. Plenty of hot water but in the shower you have to keep pushing the button to get water. There is also a lovely new washing up area in the block nearest to reception.
The gates are not locked at night although they ask you to keep noise to a minimum when moving around early or late, shame our caravan neighbour didn't, out slamming doors at 0645 and driving off. Nothing the campsite can do, just someone not so thoughtful as most of us!
They allow dogs on site and they must be on a lead, one for hating dogs could not believe it when one arrived outside my tent only to be told by the owner it is harmless, having had encounters before with dogs I beg to differ! I did mention this to one of the park wardens /owners they were kind enough to ask if we wanted to move pitches. We declined as only there for the weekend, but nether the less a lovely gesture.
You can walk into North Walsham along the road, there is only about 200 yards with no path but you can walk on the little track that is on the bank. The rail station is just over a mile away, took us around 25 minutes. There is a machine on one of the platforms for tickets and you can go to Norwich and Great Yarmouth one way and to Cromer and Sheringham the other. There is a Lidl and Sainsbury in town.
Across the road from the campsite you can eat and drink at the Scarborough Hill Country Hotel. There are steps up there saving you having to walk down the road and up the driveway. Staff there are lovely and friendly. You can drink in the cosy bar area or have a meal. You might want to book if eating as it is only a small hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and they accept dogs. There are other eateries but we only tried the hotel as was so local.
Lots to do in the area, the Broads are not far away, there are National Trust properties etc and if you turn left out the campsite a little way down on the left is a nursery (cheap plants) and a lovely tearooms if looking for a nice lunch. There is also a nice loop around the top of the campsite for a short walk.
Would we return, yes we would despite the time travelling, the site met our needs, no kids but then most of our camping is at adult only sites. Everywhere you went in Norfolk people were so friendly. See you in 2017 ļ

Just spent 4 nights at this wonderful peaceful touring site. The owners were so helpful and made you feel nothing was too much trouble. The wardens Jane Ray Lee and Karen couldn't be more helpful. On arrival we were escorted by the warden to our pitch and were able to ask questions. This was such a clean site the showers and toilets were spotless. The only noise you heard was the birds singing. You could walk into the town by cutting through the field it took about 20 mins to do this. Wroxham Broads is about 9 miles away. So beautiful there or you could go a bit further about 13 miles and park and ride to Norwich. Massive shopping area here. We also went to Sherringham again about 15 miles. So with all the peace and quiet of the site you can get the best of both worlds by relaxing on the site or popping out with not very far to travel. We will certainly be returning to this site for sure and look forward to meeting Barbara Ray and their staff and not forgetting Millie the beautiful cat. Thank you guys for a great stay.

We visited Two Mills in November to get a last few days away before parking up for the winter. This was our second visit to the park having last visited 4 years ago and were originally attracted by the parks adults only policy & that it was rated 5 star by both the East of England Tourist Board & the AA.
On arrival we were offered a tea or coffee & were then shown to our pitch. The wardens were very friendly & helped us put up our awning, they were the same ones that were there on our previous visit. We had booked a super pitch which had a mains water tap & a grey waste drain point on the pitch plus a 16amp hook up to one of the new type bollard outlets that were lit up at night.
There were now two shower & toilet buildings, a new one on the Panorama level & the original one near the reception building which had been renovated since our last visit, both were immaculately clean.
There were two recycling areas with a bank of large bins but the slots to put the refuse in were not very big so you could only put a medium size sack in not a large one.
There are red dog waste bins around the park for dog owners to dispose of their pets waste so no reason for owners not to pick up after them.
TV reception is poor but each pitch has a satellite hook up point for those who have satellite decoders in their TV or have a satellite box or. You can hire a box from reception & the warden fits it in for you.
Wifi is free in the reception area but there is a charge for one that will work in your caravan, we only used the free one which was fine for our needs.
In the reception area there is an information centre for attractions & menus for local restaurants, you can make yourself a tea or coffee and borrow DVDs, CDs or books. There is also a small screen TV to look at while you have a coffee. We will certainly be visiting again.

On arrival at two mills we were greeted with a warm welcome and a offer of a hot drink then was taken to our pitch and given a helping hand by the wardens to site our van the toilet and shower
Blocks are spotless the owners are dog friendly providing waste points all over the site the site is very tidy with a three level layout
A adult site only with means no children playing around vans very
Peaceful stay the site is a good base for touring the area all the facilities are very clean. And well set out site well lit at night overall a very friendly quite clean and helpful site would we stay there again yes planning a xmas visit

Stayed at the end of September, must have been the driest week in the year & the sun came out too.
Lovely site, we had a full service pitch.
Arrived with an offer of tea and a friendly chat.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Toilets and showers very clean.
Very good restaurant just up the road, about 100 yards I would say, prices very reasonable.
And you can pop in at any time for a drink, dog friendly, but not in the restaurant area.
Def go back, but for 2 weeks next time.
