We visited this site because we wanted adults only, and it was so peaceful, heaven!although one or two dog owners should realise barking dogs at 7 in the morning are not much fun when you are on holiday, but having said that it didn't go on for long. The toilets/showers were very good and well maintained. the layout of the site was very pretty and well kept the flowers were lovely.
The TV room had lovely relaxing seats/coffee if you wanted it(for a sml donation which went to charity)There were loads of books/ magazines to borrow and if you are a Dolls house freak Well I must say have a look when you get there!
Nearby North Walsham had all our needs with a Salisbury's/chip-shop/chemist etc etc also on-site there is a small shop in the reception area.
Oh and one last thing! I loved the music in the loos!

The facilities at this site are good apart from the smelly washing up area because of a leaking pipe. Loved the jigsaw left out to have a go at got very hooked. Owners were lovely, helpful, friendly and kind. The facilities for washing, showering etc were great and a big thumbs up for the idea of mesh across the windows to keep out the beasties. Only problem was camping on hard standing, luckily we were prepared. What I couldn't understand was we parked on grass next to hard standing so why can't tents pitch on the grass and park on hard standing? As for peaceful and tranquil, I think that's pushing it a bit because of the closeness of the railway and the main A1409 to Great Yarmouth.but ear plugs fixed that!

July 2005 I have just enjoyed a week at this lovely site, It is tranquility itself and the toilets and showers are alwyas kept spotlessly clean. There is a small shop and a visitors room where you can enjoy a book or even watch television! We were particularly impressed with the welcome when we arrived, even being offered a free cup of tea! The site is Adults Only and a short walk from some very nice pubs and eating places. I thoroughly recommend it.

September 2004 Excellent site with first class facilities. The pitches were generous and flat and in most cases all weather. The information centre and library on site, were a mine of information, and the television room was welcome on a dark cold evening. The only small criticism was being in a tent there was a fair amount of road noise early morning and weekends. However I would highly recommend the site

August 2004 I can recommend the Butchers Arms situated at East Ruston for great value meals. Although the site is now under new ownership it's still excellent. one of the friendliest I have come across. My only negative comment would be the lack of male showers (only two) but perfection is hard to achieve.

July 2004 What a lovely and peaceful site, the facilities and whole site were kept spotless. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners were extremely helpful. This site is fairly small with no clubhouse / bar so is ideal if you want a quiet relaxing break. The coast is only about 10 minutes away so plenty of great dog walking opportunities. Will definately visit again sometime in the near future.

August 2003 Visited summer 2003 with our tent and dog. Although this small site was full, it remained quiet. Short drive from beaches and local village. Facilities always spotlessly clean throughout the day. Very friendly atmosphere. Well recommended.
