Have just visited this site, it was lovely, quiet, clean, and the staff were very helpful. They have an adult only part which was fantastic, so peaceful. The resturant on site is well worth a visit, the food was perfect and presented beautifully, and so reasonable. The only fault for us was the fact that we have annexes on our awning, and if we had needed to use the two, they would not have fitted. Although our kids now 16&19 don't come with us very often, but when they do they tend to have a friend in tow. But on saying that if we only need the one annex we will be going back here.

We stayed here over the busy Easter weekend and found this to be one of the best sites (and cleanest) that we have stayed at. The site is well laid out in a very pleasant location with a separate camping field for tents and marked pitches. Barbeques are permitted. The toilet/shower and washing up facilities were very clean with plenty of hot water. If you don't want to cook there is a restaurant serving meals, snacks and take-aways. The children enjoyed using the playground and table tennis table in the games room (bats/balls are not available to hire). The small shop stocks all the basics and newspapers, fresh croissants, eggs and bread are available daily.

We would certainly recommend this site if you are looking for a clean, quiet and friendly site in a pleasant location.

We have stayed here twice now and find it an excellent site. The staff are friendly and the facilities well located and clean. The pitches are generous and the grassed areas well maintained and attractive.
The shop is well stocked with day to day provisions and the site is relaxed. We have told friends of this site and they were equally impressed. It is not the cheapest site but I have paid far more for far less!

Returning visit to this campsite, so expectations were high.  We stayed a week.  Overall, very good site, although since last year tent pitches have deteriorated with some very bumpy pitches and the sloping seemed more in evidence and problematic - maybe that was why tents were pitched at strange angles?  Also, wondered if owners had squeezed extra 2/3 pitches as tents were very close.  Good mix of campers / caravanners and many tended to hail from Scunthorpe / Yorkshire ‘and the like’.
Restaurant served good, tasty food and reasonably priced.  Washer and dryer expensive to use (£3.50 each), as was shopping in the onsite shop but when you factor in petrol usage to supermarket, maybe not.
Owner keen and helpful but partner indifferent and not customer focussed.  When asked if there was a communal washing line, was told in no uncertain terms ‘No, and don’t you dare hang anything around your tent’!   Later she was overheard in the restaurant complaining about whingeing campers & washing lines.  Discretion, tact, diplomacy?   Showers hot and usually no queues.  Not a fan of toilets & showers in same building – smell unbearable - but I guess that’s camping!

We visited the site on the off chance of getting 7 days booked up, But we had such a good time there that we extended our stay for 3 more days. Yes it absolutely chucked the rain down on us for most of our stay but the staff were always offering any help that might be needed.

The site has a lovely evening restaurant /bar the food was delicious and we used it often. There is a small shop in the reception area which sells the basics that you might need,The showers/toilets were lovely and kept clean. I cannot praise the staff enough especially the owners Allison and John,They always had time for a smile and a friendly chat. We were on pitch 65 which was out of the main area (no Children)which suited us fine.

There is a tv room which also has table tennis/pool tables. There is a play area for children and they seemed to enjoy it. There is a local pub where we lost in a quiz! but it was a great laugh. There is a large Tescos not too far away. The site was very well managed and very pretty. We hope to return next time we go to Norfolk.

We have stayed at this site many times as it is one of the best sites we have stayed at in the area, it has recently had new owners that have spent a lot of time and energy on improving an already excellent site we will be going back later this year.

This site does not encourage tenters. We reserved two pitches at nearly £20 each for one adult and two kids. The ground we were shown was badly sloping and rutted - impossible to get the tent level, and the potholes were filling up with rain.

The owners attitude was 'It's a field'. True but v. Expensive for just a field. Facilities looked OK but tenters mainly want a decent pitch to start with. They wouldn't even consider any money back.

Typical of many caravan parks that stick a few tents on the side, take the money but don't bother.

This is the second time we have visited this site and have found it to be by far the best that we have been to. The pitches are very spacious and there is plenty of room for the children to play. The site is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly. The toilets and showers are also very clean. I can't think of a bad thing to say about this site - well maybe just the fact that we have to go home!

What a fantastic site, it is quiet, well maintained and incredibly clean. The owners are very friendly and work very hard to keep this site in perfect condition. The washing up area and bathrooms are spotless with free showers. We have two small children and find the site perfect for them as it is very safe for them to run around playing and the fishing lake is an added bonus. All in all the best site we have been to and very difficult to find anything that matches Brick Kilns standard.

Agree with previous reviews but would add a few minor points.
Caravan pitches with hardstanding are reasonable size and most have with large grass area in front. On site restaurant very good and highly popular, though very little choice nearby. New Morrisons opened just before Fakenham and about 10-15 minutes drive.

In addition to good playground and much open space, there is also a room with 2 table tennis tables, TV and low cost Pool table.

Nice site overall.
