Yep, I agree. Wonderful site. I thought the narrow entrance lane would prove a problem over a busy bank holiday w/e but it didn't prove to be. Spacious pitches for the tents, from what I could see the 'vans were similarly blessed. If I really try to find fault the only thing I would say is that a urinal an 8 year old could use would be helpful!

Camped here for 5 nights - 1 extra than planned, that good! Had everything we needed. Keen & enthusiastic owners. Bread / croissants / milk daily in shop. No Q's @ showers / toilets & plenty of hot water - hairdryers too, very clean. Mixed clientele - generally families in the approx. 14 well spaced choice of sunny or shaded tent pitches and couples in caravans. Tent pitches 2 min walk to facilities. Nice & quiet at nights

Excellent, small restaurant on site, which opened twice during our stay. Arrived at 5pm to take last gently sloping pitch - no problem. Good kiddies playground, giant chess & areas to 'run around'. Spent most of our time in the Burnhams - 20/30 mins drive away. Fantastic beaches @ Holkham ('thou 20min walk from carpark just to beach, another 10 to the sea at low tide!) & equally good @ Brancaster. Burnham Overy Staithe superb for walking, beautiful & unspoilt. Great walking & cycling all around. Walsingham's worth a visit as is Burnham Market for lunch at Hoste Arms and great shopping for the ladies wot lunch! Wells next the sea a little cheap n' cheerful but great for crabbing.

A great find and a site we will definitely return to.

We visited this very nice small camp site, with tents separate from carvans. It is safe and child friendly. The tent pitch area is rather slopped so it is best to get there as soon as you can after 1pm! Everything is very accessible from all points on the site. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Overall however this site was excellent and we will visit again.

We visited here after a very long wet spell and unfortunately our tent pitch was very wet and boggy. However, the new owners were very helpful and the site itself would be hard to beat.
The pitches were very large and well spaced out. The whole site was beautifully kept and great if you prefer a quiet, out of the way site.
We obtained a map from the reception of a delightful walk around the nearby woods and quiet country lanes. It took about 1 3/4 hours at a leisurely pace and the children enjoyed the mud and puddles from the recent wet weather !!
The site shop kept all the basics (lovely fresh bread rolls) but we found a large supermarket in nearby Fakenham.
Wells, Cromer, Sheringham and Blakeney(good crab fishing) were all close by.

Spent Easter weekend here with some friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. They were so impressed that they booked for a further 2 weeks in the summer and we'll certainly be going again.

A very well kept site in a quiet location, with friendly and helpful owners. Toilets and shower blocks were extremely clean and well heated, altough there was some queueing for the showers at peak time in the mornings.

There is a small but well stocked shop on the site and a good value restaurant/bar with great food. Children were catered for with a couple of large play areas.

The roads in the area were quiet and excellent for bike riding. Only a short drive to the coast, with several tourist attractions nearby.

We spent three nights here in the peak unexpected hot spell in Spring Bank Holiday week 2003.

The site is well landscaped and extremely well kept. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The site was almost full, but not too crowded. There are only a few grass camping pitches as most pitched are "semi-hard standing" - mix of sand and gravel - for caravans and caravanettes.
Therefore, we had to pitch our tents on less than ideal ground, but it was still superb.

Toliet and wash facilities were plentiful and of a very high standard.

There's a footpath on and beyond the edge of the site with dog bins hedaing into a nearby coppice.

Good base for touring - unexpectedly hilly - North Norfolk.
