This is one of the best sites ever. We called in on the off chance, but were told they were fully booked, but we were welcome to look round. Luckily for us someone cut their holiday short because of the weather and we were able to spend 2 days on the site. The views are terrific, when it wasn't raining (about 1 hour in the 48) we could see the castle at Tintagel. The pitches are big with a fantastic view over the water, but the site is very exposed, so I would think twice about taking a tent if the conditions weren't good. The wardens were really nice and helpful, they even mowed our pitch before we parked up. A beautiful site, with excellent facilities - can't wait to go back.

This is our favorite site of all time (so far) for sentimental reasons. We've returned many times over the years (since 1996) and it just gets better and better. One thing doesn't change and that's the spectacular sunsets over Bossiney Cove. If you love walking coastal paths and lots of little beach coves it's perfic! In between Boscastle and Tintagel you can go for a walk to on of the traditional pubs, if you like cider choose one that has "the rattler" it's the business! The nicest drop of scrumpy cider to pass my lips! And after a couple of those you can glide back to the camp site. Happy days! If the weather is rubbish there's plenty of places to visit. We're Nat Trust members and only saw a fraction of the wonderful places a pleasant drive away. I can also recommend cycling to Padstow along cycle path that follows the estuary.

This is a fantastic site, the sea views are absolutely stunning. One word of warning, if you use an awning, make sure it's tied down securley, the winds are fierce! Toilet block was upto the clubs usual high standards, you can order newspapers at reception as well as buying basic groceries. TOP TIP - If you decide to go to the Eden Project, buy tickets in advance and don't go when the kids are off. We stood in a queue for 20 mins and gave up when we saw people jumping the queue and realised that we would have to spend a least another hour before we actually got in! Cash Machines are few and far between and you will be charged to take money out. Tintagel is great and well worth a visit, loads of great pubs and restaurants. The castle was a bit disappointing and involves a very steep slope which is hard work, especially when pushing a push chair on the the way back to the car park. Boscastle is also worth a visit, the witchcraft museum has a sign, showing how high the flood water reached,....... SCARY!

This site has great sea views from nearly all of the pitches. When the site is full you may find that the views are partially obscured by motor homes and caravans on the most seaward pitches. You are welcome to move your caravan to a better position as soon as that pitch has been vacated.
The site is split into terraces and a large sloping field at the extreme end of the site. It is a long walk from the field to the shower block out of season, but during the summer month's there is a temporary toilet block situated about halfway between the field and shower block. We noticed some people driving from the field to the shower block. The shower cubicles were nice and clean and provided a decent undressing area
There are some hard standings situated faily close to the shower block - all the other pitches are grass, fairly level on the terraces (we did not need a leveler on our pitch), but sloping in the field. When arriving at the site it is essential to leave your caravan at reception and reccy the pithes on foot first as the terraces are dead ends and you could find yourselves having to reverse out of one!. The dramatic views come at a price and that is the wind - This is site is quite exposed to the elements. We noticed that awnings can get quite a bashing from the wind. Although we did not see any get blown away.
This site is situated next to the coastal footpath and is about halfway between Tintagel and Bossiney. Its about 3 miles to either. Its a lovely walk to Tintagel, and if you don't fancy walking back there is a bus from Tintagel that stops near the Site entrance.
Overall we liked this site - The views and coastal walks are outstanding.
