A very well-kept and well-organised site in a magnificent location. Good flat, hard-standing pitches with superb sea and coastline views. Coast path is accessible from the site with great walks in both directions. The toilets and showers are exceptionally good. We had to pay an additional £10 for the night as we are not Caravan Club members which made it rather expensive; but worth it for the location and the views.

It is easy to see why this site fills quickly - it has such a great cliff top location ON the coastal footpath. Ok it is several miles from shops and pubs but the on site shop caters for essentials, including fresh bread, pasties and newspapers. In addition a fish & chip van calls twice weekly. The welcome from the wardens was great and the pitches are well spaced. The terracing allows more vans to have direct sea views, but there is still an amusing scramble for the front row/ cliff edge pitches as soon as one becomes available! Whilst it may help to arrive in good time we noted that some arrivals stack up well before the published time. We make no excuse from highlighting the quiet, natural scenery here, but then our visit did not include an Atlantic gale! Few residents are brave enough to put up awnings here. Wi-fi is on the Caravan Club pay system. We very rarely give top marks but this site deserves them!

We live in Cornwall and have walked past this site plenty of times but never stayed. Had a lovely 2 night stay, h/s pitch with sea and countryside views.
Good off lead dog field on site, shop in reception selling basics and fresh bread, cakes, pasties etc and papers to order.
TV signal good, 02 phone good, 3Mobile a bit iffy!
Found showers a little hard to keep constant temperature, but not a major problem.
There are some amazing walks on the coast path from site, unfortunately our dog is getting on now and unable to walk far, but we did manage a wander on the coast path and sat having a picnic watching peregrine falcons and their babies - wonderful!
Will definitely return one day.

Just two nights here on way home from St Just and what a find. Booking in lovely helpful staff and our front row pitch was just too beautiful when the sun went down. Lucky to be near the toilet facilities which were immaculate with hand cream! We bought a cream tea from the shop which was lovely. Managed to walk up the steep hill to catch the bus to Boscastle for a walk around before getting the bus back past the campsite to Tintagel for lunch. We had bus buses and it was 90p for our dog to travel all day if required. Buses ran every two hours and were on time. The enclosed dog field on the site is a brilliant idea as letting our Border Terrier off her lead is a no no so she was able to run around to her hearts content off lead. My husband walked to the stream and the cliff walks and beyond but too much for me. Looking forward to a return visit

I love this site, the views are wonderful. I was lucky that when I was there it wasn't really busy, even so I couldn't get a front row pitch, I went up on the grass behind the information room, so it was almost like having no one in front of you, but you could see who hadn't washed their roofs for a while. Spectacular sunsets great dog walks. There are two paths accessing the coastal path, which was easier and nicer that going to the dog field. Be careful if you go to the left once on the coastal path, it gets very steep and rocky but the views worth it. This is a big site with only one facilities block always clean and never queued. Wifi and tv good but no phone signal on EE. Fish and chip van twice a week, good, but long queues.
Only here for a few nights and weather not brilliant but managed Tintagel on a dryish day, excellent and a must do, but did get the land rover back up, really good cafe opposite the castle car park entrance, yummy crab salad. On a wet day went to Bodmin Gaol, good day and a convenient Sainsburys just down the road. Both attractions dog friendly, but beware lots of stairs.

Wow we loved it here the views are breathtaking, when you get there you are asked to walk around and choose your pitch, they are very spacious with the most amazing views. The main toilet block has ample showers and toilet facilities also has rooms with just large wash basins if you'd rather just wash and get dressed. It has hairdryers on wall. They are spotlessly clean. There is a laundry room with a large washing machine and a few tumble dryers. The washing up room has four large sinks. There is a small but friendly shop also. If you have children there is a park and our kids loved riding there bikes and scooters around, there is so much space for them to play, part of the site is on a big field where they played with their kites and football. It's a brilliant place if you have dogs too lots of walks for them down to the stream and over the cliffs. I would recommend this to all sorts of people, families with kids families with dogs or just couples taking the beauty of the coast. You can get a bus if you walk out of the site and it has its own information Center. Would definitely go back loved it

Caravan Club site so facilities are always good, clean and well maintained. Take notice of the recommended routes in; some of the roads are iffy for caravans.
Overall excellent site - lovely clifftop location; good walks from the site along the cliff paths and easy access to Tintagel and Boscastle. Only downside would be there's not a lot for children to do - cliffs a bit close for comfort.
But look at the views!

Wow! wow! wow! fantastic site. Views were amazing extremely clean facilities and all well maintained. Brilliant shop all nessesities plus lots of yummy goodies too! Would definitely use this site again.
Great walks along the cliff both ways some steep areas though but all seemed safe and seating dotted along the walks.
Only negatives. We were in a tent and there is no flat pitches. But you do get a lovely view.
Also the camping area is a long way away from the pot washing facilities. It would be nice not to have to walk so far down the camp with your bowl and pots.

Fantastic site, views truly are breathtaking, site well maintained and cared for, facilities good and clean. Site is in an ideal position for coastal walks or walking into Tintagel where you can enjoy a good pint or a cream tea.
This site is definitely worth a visit and I would recommend it, I hope to return again soon.

Great site with stunning views from the cliff top location. Toilet/shower block kept very clean. Buses are a little bit erratic with there time keeping. Wardens were very helpful and made sure the rules about noise and ball games were adhered to. The town of Tintagel was close by and a scenic waterfall set in the woods was within walking distance.
