The camp was great and there was a lovely park which is very helpful if you have young children. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was marvellous. I have heard that they are also going to get a new shower block for summer.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. There are regular buses and the location is handy for Bridlington, Filey, Whitby etc. I cant wait to go again.

What a really nice park this is very clean and tidy. Staff and owners very nice people. Toilets and showers good hot water all the time. Dog walk good. Well spaced pitches.
The nearest pub on the gate, The tow bar (nice pint), the local shop is on the park across the road (well stocked), morrisons about 3 mile away
This site is in a good location for filey, bridlington, whitby ect. we have booked again can`t wait to go back

Browns is a nice well kept site and the people who run it are very nice my only fault with this site is the shower. There is only one shower in the ladies and one shower in the mens. The temperature of the shower in the ladies and the water pressure were brilliant but the shower is very small and the head is set on the wall and is very high up resulting in it being impossible for me to shower my four year old daughter for the 3 days we stayed here.

Great site one of the best we have been too, close to the beach 15 min walk. Pitches large with plenty of space for awning we had one of the hardstanding but most pitches are grass. Toilet block very clean but only 1 shower but they do have a family bathroom, we never had any trouble getting a shower as it is only a small touring area about 40 vans at most.Very quite at night. There is a small play area near by for the kids but there is also a play area at the tow bar pub which is at the entrance off the site. There is a shop over the road on the park resorts site and cayton village is about 20 mins walk away for shops pubs etc. This is our second visit to this site and will be going again we had a great week there, plenty to do in this area and the kids love it.

Just been back to our favourite touring site. We were a little bit apprehensive when we set off because last time we went they were half way through building a new bypass a bit closer to the park than the previous road, we needn't have worried, if anything the new road is quieter than the old one and is very well screened from the noise.
The park owners have been working hard over the winter putting in extra drainage and have also made a number of pitches into hard standing ones - not that they were needed, it was a scorching week! We stayed for a week and took advantage of the special offer where if you stay for 3 or more nights mid week, you only pay £10 per night so it cost us £50 for Sunday to Thursday and £14 for Friday & Saturday night. What a bargain!
The park always looks immaculate and is so quiet and the owners and regulars are so friendly, and just to put the icing on the cake, Martin the singing chef is back in the Tow Bar (top tip - 2 meals for £9 3pm - 5pm) - his food is spot on. If you have never been to Browns, what are you playing at, you don't know what you are missing, see you there next time.

What a lovely site, clean, staff very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers very clean and showers free. We couldn't watch tv all weekend, couldn't get a signal even though we had a digital aerial, so daughter wasn't to pleased. There is a pub nr entrance called towbar that's serves food, only snag to get a seat you need to be in for 6pm, I went in at 7.30pm and it was packed solid. Good beer prices, 3 pints Carling and a J20 £9.60. Walk to Scarborough takes an hour to walk, very nice walk though, decided to get bus back, but we felt it was a rip off £2.40, so with been four of us paying that, it would have been cheaper taking car in and parking up. You have to pay ten pounds for a barrier key, but get it back when you leave and there is no rushing you off, so went to Filey for day with car, £5.00 for all day or £2.00 for two hours.

We spent 4 nights on this site, it was kept very clean the toilet block was cleaned every day, and all the bins were emptied regularly. There was a single shower in both the ladies and the mens loo block they were in quite a small space but very powerful and clean, there is also a shower / etc room further over the park which you can lock the door on and it can be used as a family room which is brilliant when you have small children (great idea).
The owners were very helpful and friendly, also the barrier was automated when you were going from the site so we could leave early on the morning we were coming home which is a big bonus for us as getting stuck in dinner time traffic with small children is a nightmare.
Over all brilliant site close to main road for going into town,(not good for walking to town) lovely small beach nearby would go there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

This is the second time we have been to Browns and as before it was brilliant. A big site but always clean and tidy very quiet at night. The toilets are always clean and tidy and the grass mown. There are plenty of attractions on site. We stopped there there for six nights and we will be going again. It is not far to Cayton Bay which is lovely. Filey Scarborough and Bridlington are all within easy reach. The bus stop is just outside the main gates if you don't feel like driving.

On arrival informed that site was waterlogged due to weather, ground was extremely soggy and at one point felt caravan was going to sink into ground, toilet blocks were clean but only 1 shower in block, which was not enough considering the site was full, so had long wait at times. Staff were very friendly and helpful, guiding you to pitch. The Towbar was a lovely little pub with friendly staff and good pub food at reasonable prices, enjoyed ourselves despite poor weather. This site is in a lovely location and would probably rate it higher had it not been for the waterlogged pitches, owners maybe need to look at a drainage system for the pitches as can't rely on good British weather. Overall a good site with good location.

Very good site, the pitches are well placed and give plenty of room for van, awning and car. Prices are very reasonable, particularly during school holidays.
Toilets and showers are limited but always clean and tidy. The 'Towbar' pub at the entrance to the site is also open to the public and can sometimes get a bit crowded. Dogs are welcome and the dog walk area is secure and kept clean.
The beach at Cayton Bay is only a 10 minute walk away, Ok if you're fit but it's downhill going and uphill coming back and it's steep!
The site is ideally suited to use as a base for touring the North Yorkshire coast, this was our second visit and we will certainly be using it again.
