This is one of the better sites we have stayed on.
Spacious hard standing touring pitch which was extremely well maintained, as is the rest of the site. Toilets and showers were spotless with good hot showers. The site was very quiet even though it was almost full.
Just beside the reception is a great pub, The Towbar, serving good food and drinks at reasonable prices.
Staff at the pub and on the site are very friendly and helpful with someone always at hand to help you.
Great beach 5 minute walk away, steep hill to go up and down.
Scarborough and Filey are only a short drive away and worth visiting, great fish and chips!
Looking forward to our next visit.

Just returned and booked to go again. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it so much booked to go back in Aug for the week. It's peaceful. So clean. The toilets and showers and the site is so well kept. People are so friendly. The family are lovely people, they work so hard to keep their site so lovely. Did not try the pub, did not have time but will do next time. The bus service is great. No complaints. Looking forward to Aug

Just had six lovely days on this site. A lovely clean site with friendly staff. The Tow Bar pub has a great selection of food and beers, and fantastic friendly staff who made us very welcome, and they have lots of entertainment on various days of the week. The Sat Nav may take you down a road which says unsuitable for caravans but it is fine if you go carefully, I had a 21 foot van, it has a railway crossing on it so I suppose that's why they say its unsuitable. But thanks to the earlier reviewers who actually took the time to drive down it, and realise that it was ok. Hard Standing pitch with a 10 amp hook up, and a tv plug in so I didn't have to mess around trying to put the Ariel in the right direction. Cayton Bay beach 5 mins walk, Scarborough and Filey 4 miles away and only 3 pound return on the bus if you fancy a tipple or two. And the bus stop is right outside the camp. Facilities are spotless, and all showers are lovely and powerful and warm. Overall a very lovely site, would I go again??? Yes.

After years of staying at browns caravan site, thinking it can't get any better each year it does. The shower and toilet blocks are immaculate, maintained to an excellent standard and make you feel right at home. It is only a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach, there is a play area for the children and a dog walk. There is food available on site and plenty to keep the children and adults occupied. Overall excellent site and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Just arrived home this afternoon from this gorgeous site.
Stayed for four nights and I have to say, we wished we could have stayed longer!
Warm welcome on arrival from the owner, £10 deposit for the shower key & barrier card, refunded on departure.
Beautiful well kept park, the touring part is at the top through the static caravan field
Excellent hard standing pitch, more than enough room for our unit, awning and car, electric & T. V. Ariel sockets.
The toilets and showers are totally spotless, (when we stayed all the pitches were occupied but still everything was sparkling clean)
A further shower block is also available in the Static caravan field which again is spotless, the showers in here are the best we`ve ever used, free, bags of hot water and the water flow is like standing under a waterfall!, we named two of the three we used Victoria & Niagara!
Bus stop just outside the entrance for visiting the surrounding area (Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Bridlington to name a few)
Play area for the younger ones although we didn't use this, Dog walk area & The Tow Bar pub at the entrance which does meals and has entertainment.
Morrisons supermarket is a five minute drive away, there is also a shop on the Cayton Bay holiday park opposite.
Five minute walk to the beach of Cayton Bay.
Overall, a fantastic site, well worth a visit, we will certainly be going back!

Just returned from a weeks stay at this site, loved it. The owners are very friendly, the park itself is immaculate. The toilet block and shower in the touring field is always kept clean, but I would recommend using the one that is situated where the static caravans are next to the children's play area, as they are private rooms with a power shower, sink and toilet.
No shop on site, but there is one located at the Park Resorts site over the road and is reasonably priced.
The pub on site is open to the public and can be quite busy at times, but this adds to the atmosphere. The landlady and here family are very welcoming and we enjoyed coming here during the day and on an evening when they have the bingo or to watch the football.
I would recommend visiting this caravan site, we will be returning in the spring of next year when we have our new addition to the family.

Lovely quiet site, well cared for. Owners very welcoming and pleasant.
Facilities very clean, good showers too.
Television point alongside the EHU is a great idea.
Nice walks along the cliff top to Filey and Scarborough - can get the bus back if only want to do one way.
Cayton Bay, which is lovely is just across the road - there is an underpass so no need to cross the main road.
Morrisons supermarket 5 mins away.
All in all a great site for a relaxing break.

Just back after a four day stay. Lovely site, good sized pitches, the site is well looked after nice flower beds, grass mown.
There is little bit of road noise but not too bad.
Two toilet blocks a newer one in the static area both clean, nice showers and family bathroom in new block.
Pub at bottom of site (tow bar) reasonable prices(£2. 80 for lager) food nice and good value.
There's a spar shop on the park resorts site across the road, morrisons only five minutes away and far better value.
Well sited for Filey Scarborough and Brid. Nice walk on coastal path (Cleveland way).
All in all nice site nice people we will be back.

We chose this site for our first venture out in our tourer as a family member has a static caravan nearby and we know the site & area pretty well. The staff were very helpful as were other caravan owners in the tourer area - only too happy to help us novices and we were very grateful.
The pitches are a good size and we were pleased to find not only EHU but also TV aerial points available.
The shower block in the top tourer field was always spotlessly clean, and nice and warm - always welcome when travelling with small children. There is also a spacious, indoor potwash area.
The views from the tourer field are lovely.
We were pleased to find everyone observing the speed limits on site - we have small children so this is important for us. There is a very good children's play area.
We made full use of the very good laundry facilities when one of the children was ill. Managed to wash and tumble dry a sleeping bag, no problem - this would have been difficult at home! But the machines were of large capacity so it was no trouble here.
Morrisons is about 10 minutes away by car and Redcliffe farm shop (on the road to Filey) is very good and well worth a trip - lovely meat, pies and pastries.
The food in the Towbar is very good value & the beer prices are very reasonable.

Just spent 5 day on this site and really enjoyed it,
Facilities are good on the touring pitch although better one are in the middle of the site (static area) but not too far to walk
The family room requires a little more facilities trying to shower a toddler and stay dry is not easy.
The pitches are well kept and the staff are very helpful and friendly
We would return here again
Excellent for visiting nearby Scarborough Bridlington Whitby.
The shops around the area are plenty with Morrisons the biggest closest supermarket.
