Just returned from a four night stay here. excellent site, owners cant do enough for you.
Very clean site showers and toilet blocks spotless. Not far from beach, pubs
only one small gripe, towbar pub on site says it is 'child and dog friendly'. Was in pub watching sky sports only to be asked to leave at 5pm because we had a dog, would have liked to have known this prior to watching 45 mins of a football game and missing second half
Spent @£50 a day on drinks and food in towbar. Owners lost £200+ by not being dog friendly. Dogs out by 6pm would have been a better option.
Told I could tie it outside very dog friendly not.

We are not seasoned campers and didn't know what to expect. We were highly delighted with this site. Lovely people who own the site. Nothing too much trouble.
Toilets and all other facilities spotless. Nice little dog walk for your dog to do his business (clean up after your dog please, everybody seems to keep to this rule and it was nice and clean)
Nice peaceful site, lovely surrounding area, Cayton Bay, Well stocked shop over the road.
We originally only booked one night but stayed for 4. There is nothing negative to say about this site at all.
We will certainly go back there on our next camping trip.

Just spent 2 lovely weeks at this site which we enjoyed very much. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon very easy to find site although following the directions to the site we found the road which we were supposed to follow had a sign on it which said not suitable for caravans so we didn't chance it and just arrived at the site from a different direction. we later drove down this road and didn't find anything wrong with it so if anyone can shed any light on this matter it would probably benefit other caravanners.
The site itself couldn't be faulted it anyway we were located on a lovely pitch over looking the field plenty of room and hardstanding but with loads of room on the grass for eating outside.
There were plenty of bins for rubbish and also recycling facilities. There was a small shower block situated on the touring field which also housed the toilets and wash up area.
There was another key operated shower block just through a small gate which had family facilities which we found excellent there was also elsan disposal which was lovely and clean plenty of fresh water points and grey water points.
There was a games room for the children and a small park which was ok for the young children but something for the older children would have been good they also did sports activities daily on the field which was a good idea.
We used the park and ride plenty of times as parking prices were expensive and the traffic was always busy it cost £4 return for a family ticket so it was excellent value for money.
It was around 10 minutes walk to the beach which was lovely if a bit of a walk back up but you get use to walk and there is a small cabin type shop halfway up so you can always have a rest.
Scarborough and the surrounding area was beautiful loads to do and see and we would recommend the site and area to everyone was not disappointed and look forward to visiting again.

Just returned from this site and wasn't impressed! Yet again another campsite that says it has internet access but told it's not working when you arrive.
The nearest shower block only had one shower in it! And someone taking bookings who placed 3 young men in a VW Campervan between an older couple in a caravan and me, aged 57, in the motorhome!
The toilet/shower block was kept very clean though and site very quiet until the arrival of the VW.
The public house attached to the site does very good 'pub' food too. I won't be going back there though.

On arrival to this site we were greeted by nicki, she was very smiley and happy making you feel very welcome.
We were given clear instructions where to go onto the touring site, which is located at the top of the static park. The instructions also included where hookups, shower block, waste disposal etc etc were
On the down side the site seems to be affected by the digital switchover so you don't get a good tv signal but the hookups also include signal aerials points(remember to take a lead with you(we had to buy one or no tv)
On one side of the tourer site are pitches with room for awnings other side no awnings(we didn't use one)
The site is sort of one way system which is handy because the site is a little snug (especially if you have a large car)
The site is very clean and well kept. The shower block is fantastic! a lot of stuff in one handy block. Plenty of hot water, pot washing facilities, hand washing, nice clean toilets (i even saw them being cleaned on a regular basis
A nice quiet site,very relaxing.
Dog walk for those with dogs(we don't) however we do have kids and there is 2 play parks 1 near the touring site 1 at the Towbar pub.
Across the road from our site is a site with a shop which was handy(something perhaps this site we stayed on could think about).
Our site however did have a pub and restaurant (The Towbar) and lovely it was too!.
Beach was within easy access about 5-10 min walk across the road but beware a steep incline to walk back
4 miles away from filey & scarborough 15 miles from bridlington
I would definitely go back to this site and place. Simply lovely!

Arrived just expecting to stay a couple of nights. but was so impressed with the facilities and the service we got we ended up staying over a week.
Been to many sites but never seen toilets and showers as clean with ample hot water and a very good washing up room all contained in one block, with elsan point under cover.
There is a pub on site where we were made really welcome and the food was fantastic we had the carvery for mothers day on the Sunday which was great
Would definitely return again and highly recommend to anyone.

This is a site that I would recommend to anyone whether they are just adults or a family.
We have been going to there for many years now and have always had a good relationship with the owners who have been both helpful and informative.
It is central to the Yorkshire coast with Filey and Bridlington to the South and Scarborough and Whitby to the north with lots of inland places to visit.
The site has good amenities that are always clean and well serviced. There is only one shower in both the gents and ladies but I believe they are altering that this winter, but as many new caravans have showers in them we have never had a problem
The site is always kept in pristine condition and it drains well so if it rains heavy you have no need to worry

We visit this site as regularly as we can,and it remains one of the best we have ever stayed at. If you are the type of family who like to make lots of noise, let your children run around causing a nuisance to everyone else, and enjoy late night drinks parties in the awning, don't come here. If, on the other hand, you like a nice quiet site with seemingly well behaved children and deathly quiet after 10:00pm-come here.
The facilities are kept immaculately clean,as is the whole site. The Towbar pub is at the site entrance and seems reasonably priced for both food and ale and has regular entertainment. A trip next door onto the large commercial site to use the well stocked shop shows just how lucky your choice of site has been.
The beach is superb, when conditions are right the surfing is very good-book a lesson if you can get in.

Great site one of the best we have been to, close to the beach 10 min walk. Pitches large with plenty of space for awning we had one of the hardstanding pitches the first time we went but most pitches are grass which are just as nice.
Toilet block very clean and just had new showers fitted and they do have a family bathroom, we never had any trouble getting a shower as it is only a small touring area about 40 vans at most.Very quite at night.
There is a small play area near by for the kids but there is also a play area at the tow bar pub which is at the entrance off the site. There is a shop over the road on the park resorts site and cayton village is about 20 mins walk away for shops pubs etc.
This is our second visit to this site and will be going again we had a great two weeks there, plenty to do in this area and the kids love it and cant wait to go again, they even want us to get a static caravan there now instead of the haven site up the road. The owners are very welcoming and are always there to help no matter what the problem is.

Extremely well maintained site, fantastic new shower block installed, very clean and all facilities(laundry, washing up room, toilet blocks, recycling, bin areas, waste disposal) kept in as good condition as possible.
Hardstanding pitches, many with pebbled areas for awning. Good security. Child friendly with responsible parenting the norm, dog friendly, dog walking area, children's play areas and games room. Excellent location to tour surrounding area, beautiful beach at Cayton Bay which is walking distance, supermarket in next village, plenty of pubs and restaurants in local area to eat out.
Club on site with entertainment and food available.
Excellent value for money, very friendly owners who go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction.
