Returned today from this fantastic site, it really is a credit to its owners.
My fourth visit to this site with my wife and 2 grandkids aged 5 and 10 We stayed for 7 nights
The pitches are large and flat mainly hard standing, for awning pitch or grass for none awning, each having hook up and tv point
Showers and toilets were modern and spotlessly clean.
It is a pleasure walking round the site with flower beds everywhere grass cut on a regular basis.
New for this year was a giant chess and drafts game in the central play area. Kids loved playing here with the usual climbing frame swings slide ect and a large grass area. During school holidays the site hold games and sports every afternoon for the kids one of which was a large inflatable ball with the kids strapped inside and they sort off bounced at each other very funny to watch never seen them before myself.
A nice beach about a 10 minute walk away or you can drive down and park on the cliff top road or at the surfing school car park only £2 per day. It is quite a steep walk back up from the beach. Just off the beach is a small cafe who sell hotdogs, burgers, various baps and drinks we found very handy when you want to spend the day on the beach
A great base with both Scarborough and Filey very close by.
This site for me ticks all the boxes and the only advice I would give if you are thinking of coming is book early.

We read all the reviews for this site and were unsure whether to believe them, as it seemed no-one had anything bad to say about this site, but all they said is true, this is a fantastic site. We stayed here for 10 nights, and used it as a base for sightseeing, and visiting family. The pitches are all level and well drained. Access onto the site and pitches is good. The toilets/shower block was always clean and if it got busy there is another separate block a short walk away which again were always clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always wanting to know how your stay was going and offering advice on local attractions, directions etc. We didn't have any young children with us, but the playground looked good. The Tow Bar pub was always busy, we used it once and the food was your basic pub grub.
The nearest beach, Cayton Bay, is just over the road, it's a lovely sandy beach which has lifeguards and a snack bar, it is a bit of a hike back up again but worth the effort.
There is lots to see and do in the local area. We went to Whitby, Scarborough, and Filey to name a few. York is lovely and the Park and Ride is very easy to use and the cheapest option. The site is well placed for the Moors and the Railway.
When we visit family we would definitely use this site again.

Just returned from our first visit to this lovely site in Cayton bay and we will definitely be returning. First of all the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the site itself is very clean and quite even though it was full it had plenty of space. Toilet blocks are kept clean at all times and always had hot water in showers a hairdryer also in there.
On site is a dog walking area a great park for the kids a games room laundry room plenty of places to fill up with water and empty waste etc. Also handy was a tv point on every ehu.
This site is about a 5 min walk down to beach which is beautiful and wide although a steep walk down to the bottom it is worth it.
There is a Morrisons about 5 mins drive also a McDonalds.
We visited Scarborough (5 miles)we used the park and ride about a mile up the road which was great regular service and only cost us £4. 40 return for a family of 4 it saved all the hassle of finding a parking space and wasn't restricted on time we did the same when visiting Whitby which is about 25 miles away the park and ride is sign posted nearer the town. Filey is also only 4 miles away and park and ride is available here too. Lets just say its a lovely site in a lovely area run by lovely people

Really good site plenty of space. Very pleasant people who run and manage site even lad who does the bins and that's not the best type of thing to do. Good area. Only sad bit grass walks into van especially when wet weather. Would we go again. YES Just had to do this as Have never thought sites we have been on didn't really warrant bothering but this site really deserves a mention

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this top site, 100% site if only all sites were like this, well done to everyone there for making our stay so good. I would agree with all the other comments, will return next time I go to Yorkshire coast. We never used the Bar as we went out everyday, the dog walk was flat enough to play bowels on.

Just returned from long weekend at browns, lovely site warm welcome on arrival, toilets showers immaculate plenty of hot water, pitches are adequate, note that if your taking a porch awning or full one you will be put on the gravel side, we enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future, just a note this is a very quiet site(a little too much if you want to chat)but all in all cannot fault it

We've just returned from Browns Caravan Park after a three night stay.
What a wonderful site this is. From arriving when we received a friendly welcome to leaving, the management of the site were keen to ensure that everyone's stay was successful and enjoyable. When booking, I also enquired about assistance in getting sited and this help was waiting when we arrived.
The site is well laid out and immaculately maintained with the toilet blocks being well fitted, clean and also immaculate.
Being ideally suited for exploring Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington and the North Yorks area, this caravan park ticks all the boxes for location.
Wi-Fi is available on site for a reasonable charge.
On-site, there is the Tow Bar pub with good food, excellent bar prices and entertainment on some evenings.
Would we visit again? Of course we would and we can't wait to go back.

I have just returned from 4 nights at this fantastic site. I was met with a friendly greeting and all the information I could possibly need. The toilet and shower blocks are kept immaculate along with the rest of the site. There is a small park for children and a games room. The Towbar pub at the entrance is fantastic for food but gets very packed. Scarborough and Filey are only 5 miles away and there is a park and ride if you don't want to drive. I cant wait to come back to this site next year.

Lovely clean site well maintained, the owners were very pleasant and helpful. The family room has 2 showers a fixed one and a 'normal'one which is very useful for the little ones who don't like standing under them as you can hold it in your hand. The shower blocks and toilets were immaculate. There is a quiet beach across the road and it is only a couple of miles to drive into Scarborough town centre if you want the arcades etc. We used the park and ride a couple of time which was only £4. 10 for a family ticket and saved having to search for car park spaces
